Made an appointment and they let a walk in go before, there were 2 people cutting hair, when I asked why the lady said because she already accepted my haircut, I didn't request anyone in particular, I am also working nights so I was in a hurry, what added fuel to the fire, the lady was taking her time, talking on the phone, I could tell by her conversation it was a personal call, needless to say, I walked out and will not return to this location. read more

Came in about two weeks ago with Alisha and had an excellent experience. She showed real skill in getting both my hair and beard dialed in and looking great for the weekend. I've brought my son 3 times to this location. All 3 times were walk ins so we took whatever stylist was available. I Booked an appointment with a particular stylist for this afternoon , one that my son seemed to favorite & didn't get any cuts from. When we arrived we were sat with someone else. The stylist we had booked with was free but I'm assuming she would rather Make a little more money on an adult cut vs a child. This is my second haircut at this location but first time with Heather. I came in at 6:40 and had called ahead and asked if it was alright that I was coming 20 mins before close and she said yeah no problem. She was super nice and I actually really liked her but the haircut itself was god awful. She spent about 10 minutes on the cut and I get it she wanted to leave work but it felt like she literally left my haircut half finished. I know I came in late but I would've rather her tell me when I called ahead to just come in another day rather than spend 10 minutes on a half complete haircut. read more

I previously have not had any luck with tuneup in quite a while. My husband decided to get my boys haircut again and one guy was decent. But the other was incredibly terrible although he was very nice the haircut was horrible. This is the second hair salon that we have tried with no luck when it comes to tuneup. I took my boys here on a whim to get their hair cut/trimmed as they were looking a bit shaggy. We had to wait about 45 minutes (but that's ok because we were a random walk-in). Thankfully, Tune Up has some games (Connect 4, Checkers, Jenga) out for people to entertain themselves while they wait. I personally enjoyed the free drink (Dr Pepper) and might enjoy a beer next time I'm there without kids. Ramona handled the cuts for both my kids and did an amazing job. I was worried they'd be difficult (it was the first haircut for my 19 month odl) but she handled them extremely well and they came out with amazing trims. My wife wasn't there, but she was extremely happy with how they both came out. It was a tad pricy ($20 per kid), but I think the staff and amenities definitely make up for it. read more

Worst experience here ever!! Will not be returning. To begin only one of the workers was wearing a mask, no one else not even the customers. Before I sat down all I could smell was cigarette from the woman that cut my hair. She didn't begin to cut my hair until after 5 minutes of standing there on her phone. She messed up my hair and after messing it up she continued to cut more off!!! After paying $28 I had to come home and just cut it all off. read more

I went to get my haircut at a scheduled time, went in 10 min early for them to tell me they are an hour behind because they take walk ins before appointment times. They have permanently lost my business. The 1960 location has never done this to me and I've been going for almost 2 years. Went on a Saturday morning and got in immediately as a walk in. I had Christina as my stylist. She was professional and very nice. She finished the cut in no time. I got a beard trim and they give hot or cold towels. They also serve you a drink as soon as you get in. Overall excellent experience! read more
