    #6. Wings and Fries (6pc)

Tunis on Baymeadows is OKAY. It doesn't taste anything like the one on 103rd but it'll do for this side of town. I came for the fried chicken strips and chicken wings for myself and the kiddos. You can order them WET or DRY (no sauce). There are a couple of sauces to choose from but I only remember my favorite sauces: Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, or Mild Buffalo-Wet. The fried chicken is GOOD it's a consistent flavor. HOWEVER, the mild buffalo sauce at this location is not as Tangy-Hot as the 103rd location. Also, the 103rd location actually makes the chicken wet. This location tosses the sauce on top. The FRIES fit my liking bc they're crinkle cut and PAIRS WELL with the BUFFALO sauce. If you're looking for the complementary celery or carrot stick NOPE not at Tunis. UNFORTUNATELY, there isn't a Kids Meal or small portion option so my younger daughter is forced into an adult meal. This is a minus on service. This place seems to be more focused on Ala Cart vs. making meals or pairing items. Sometimes, I add cheese to my fries but it's ext I have never been on the inside. I ONLY drive-thru. This is a MADE-TO-ORDER place so you are asked to park. There was a 10min-ish wait. The FOOD comes to you car-hop style. The to-go bags come tied tight (huge pet-peeve) FOOD+5 SERVICE -1 AMBIANCE -1

Never a dull moment at Tuni's. The food is always fresh and made to order . Service is top notch and they are definitely customer oriented. Be prepared to wait because the orders are made to order but worth the short wait.

    Livers and fries

I ordered the chicken livers with fries. The livers were over cooked and I dont know what seasoning they are using but it has a nasty sweet taste to it that does nothing to comment the liver. In addition to being over cooked there were some livers that tasted really bitter like they had gone bad. Even my dog didn't want to eat them. Also, they smell like the oil they tried them in was burnt and needs to be changed. The meal stunk up my whole house due to the burnt grease smell.

Last week I was in the area and decided to grab a few things to take home for lunch. I noticed the building and parking lot looked cleaner than the last time I'd been there. A very pleasant gentleman named Ben came to the window when I was ordering and introduced himself as the new owner. He also was opening two locations in other areas of town. I ordered a chicken gyro, a lamb gyro and a slice of red velvet cake. It was all absolutely delicious. The gyros were overflowing with meat, the chicken was juicy and tender and the traditional gyro was exceptionally flavorful. The pita bread was very fresh, large and thick enough to hold the sandwich. The red velvet cake was fresh, moist and tasted homemade. If you haven't tried Tunis recently, you definitely need to give it a try under Ben's ownership.

My son had the fried chicken sandwich with fries. He devoured his sandwich lol. He said it was really good!

The last time I had Tunis was years ago ( almost 6 years to be exact)and I never cared too much for it and never had it since then. Until recently, my son and I was looking for something to eat and he loves him some burgers. After reading the reviews, we decided to give Tunis a try and we did not regret it. Every thing was delicious. We decided to take it to go. Got home ate my food and was out. That's how good it was. My kids and I are foodies. And we like trying out different places and Tunis will definitely see us again. I told my son, they might just be my favorite place. The service was good, can't complain. The place was clean.

Gotta say, this place is a pretty solid option. They have great hours and honestly a better option than McDonald's or BK when looking for a faster food option with a drive through. All the fried food options were hot, crunchy, crispy and fresh! If you can open your box of fried crunchy deliciousness before leaving the drive thru, then it will save you from getting soggy food by the time you get home. It's so hot that it immediately starts to steam up the to go box. Overall, if you want some greasy good food then hit this place up. I would skip the dessert though has there are much better options around Jacksonville for the prices they charge.

Let's get the legal disclaimer out of the way... as an official "yankee", I'm required to say:…read moreNothing will ever truly replace a New York lox bagel. But Jax Bread is probably the best you're going to get in Jacksonville. And it's excellent on its own merits. I ordered the lox bagel and it hit all the right notes: a perfectly chewy bagel, super fresh toppings, and the ideal cream cheese-to-bagel ratio (which matters more than people realize). Everything tasted fresh and was thoughtfully put together (more proper ratios). The service is always lovely, and I've genuinely never had anything here that wasn't delicious. This visit, I also grabbed the day-old mystery 3-pack of bagels so I could carb out a few more times this week. They're just as tasty, freeze beautifully, and at $2.99 it's an unbeatable deal. I'm already eyeing Jax Bread for some Christmas goodies this year because there are so many great things to choose from. If you haven't been yet, fix that.

This is my third time ordering online, and it's becoming clear there's little care put into what's being sent out. Both items I received were inedible. The egg and cheese bagel was freezing cold and even had the wrong cheese on it. The stuffed cinnamon bagel was rock hard. Really disappointing experience, especially because I know how good the food can be when ordered in person

My husband and I went to a special 6 Course meal event hosted by Fast Eddy's and Jacksonville…read moreRestaurant Reviews and we had such a great time exploring some of Fast Eddy's food. We started with Hummus and Tata Chips, which was crispy pita chips with a standard (but delicious) hummus. The Tata chips had great flavor, like Stacy's Pita Chips but better! The firat course was White Bean Fahsulia, which was a rich and hearty bean stew that packed huge flavor! Second course was Falafel with Tahini Sauce. These were a nice little bite between dishes. The center of the falafel was light, fluffy, and flavorful! Course 3 was Masaka-Ah served with Timan Asfur Rice. While this dish was good, it was my least favorite of the evening. I ate half of the stew and passed the rest off to my husband, who loved it! Course 4 brought us Dolma's served with Roasted Vegetables. I LOVE stuffed grape leaves and these were seriously on point! Tart and tangy up front followed by a whole lot of savory. Course 5, my favorite, was the Spicy Curry Chicken served with White Rice. This was the dish that made me fall in love with Fast Eddy's food and had me coming back for more. I took a couple bites and got a to-go container to enjoy this later at home. Finally, we reached the end of our dinner and Course 6, dessert, came out. Freshly made, sweet and decadent, traditional baklava. Filo dough, crushed walnuts, butter, and honey. This just melted away once it hit my mouth. I don't eat a whole lot of sweets but this had me closing my eyes and enjoying every bite. Every time I've visited Fast Eddy's the staff has been amazing, friendly, and hospitable. And of course, the place being completely decked out with rock and metal music memorabilia, i feel right at home here. Oh, and there's never a time where I leave that place without an order of the Pasta Anatoli to-go!
