I cannot say enough good things about this company. They're quick, efficient, thoughtful and have integrity. (These things seem to be increasingly rare to find in companies these days!) First of all, Kathy is amazing she is so sweet and helpful. (Having someone at the reception who is pleasant goes a long way) The guys themselves are so honest and helpful. We've hired them a couple of times now.... 1. To redo our hvac system. They did amazing and really listened to my concerns (one of the rooms gets way hotter or colder) they recommended and installed "dampeners" then came back to adjust them for us after we still noticed the discrepancy. 2. We had a very old AC unit that wasn't secured and during the crazy winds two years ago (70mph at our house on a hill) it actually blew over. Turner came out and ultimately installed a new AC unit for us. 3. Being new to home ownership I wasn't sure about dryer vent cleaning? Well they offered to come back and do that for me for a minimal fee. (And they showed me how to do it) These guys are affordable, honest AND always go above and beyond. read more

The Sunday before Labor Day our 18 year old air conditioner had enough and quit. It was 108°, muggy and not what we had planned for our weekend. I left a voicemail with Turner Sunday afternoon at around 3:30 to let them know what happened. Monday morning (Labor Day) at 8:30 I get call saying that they could be there between 10:00 and 12:00! First I said that they had to be kidding about coming out that same day AND on a holiday weekend I expected some brutal rates. Nope, she said. Just $20 more than normal rates. At 10:05 Brian arrived and diagnosed the problem as blown capacitor and he some on his truck. The choice was between an American made one or Chinese and I chose the good 'ol USA for the part he was going to install. He finished that, checked the coolant in the system and said it was 1/2 pound low, which wasn't bad for never having been serviced in 18 years. I told Brian to bring everything back to normal and he did. What a great experience in customer service!! I should mention that we purchased this system (Bryant) from Turner 18 years and it has run flawlessly the entire time. I highly recommend Turner for their spot-on customer care and dealing with a product they believe in and support. Brian and Kathy are outstanding. We purchased our dream home recently. The AC system in the house was a wreck. The previous owners had done some renovations and run the AC all the while. It was a old, struggling unit that needed to go. I have Asthma and chronic allergies so this stuff matters to me. Also I have a baby at home who deserves clean er air than we were getting in the condo that were preparing to leave. Brian and his company came highly recommended from family members, and even from other contractors we'd hired to finish some additional renovations on the home. When Brian came to the house he brought a bunch of information. He broke down the options and discussed what the benefits were of each. With air-quality being one of my high-priorities, I opted for a few upgrades. I liked Brian right away because he just seems honest. He talked to me about standard practices and about how he goes above standard regulations to make sure the job isn't just done, but done well. As someone with a sales background, I'm acutely aware of when I'm being sold. And I'm quite familiar with the disconnect between salesman and installer. The salesman offers discounts and price guarantees to make the sale. The installer gets stuck trying to make the salesman's promises a reality. Often the quote is too low for the work that needs to be done - every job has a unique set of problems. This means the installer either cuts corners or asks for a bump (more $). When you get a quote from Brian, you're getting it from the person actually doing to work. You're getting it from the expert himself - not a commissioned salesman. Brian will go through everything with you so that you understand where your money is going. No false promises, no cutting corners. And I have to say, considering what our neighbors (in a similar floor-plan) just paid for a new air-conditioning, Brian's price seemed quite reasonable. The work took 5 days as expected. And now we've got a brand-new system with a cool new touch-screen thermostat that's also app controlled. But more importantly, I breathe better. I even sleep better. For the past several years at our condo, I had gotten used to waking up in the middle of the night to sneeze of blow my nose. It was just how it was. I'm only now become aware of how sleep deprived I actually was. In the new house, I sleep all the way through the night. No sneezing or blowing my nose. Also, my allergies bother me less in general. I'm not expecting a cure, but any improvement helps. So far I would say there has been a substantial improvement in my allergies and breathing. My hats off to Brian. I can't thank him enough. If I could give 10 stars to Brian and Kathy, I would. Brian's the straight-shooter guy who comes to your house and gets the job done; Kathy is the one runs the office with incredible efficiency and always responds with a smile in her voice. I wish they could be cloned. Years ago, I was a first-time homeowner, and my HVAC needed some attention. I asked my neighbor for a referral, and she said, "I have the nicest guy, Brian Turner." I thought to myself, "Respectfully, I don't care if he's a nice guy or a jerk, I just need him to be good at his job." Well, Brian is the antithesis of a jerk, and he's not just good at his job, he's GREAT. He fixed that HVAC unit, and didn't mind me asking a million questions (about ductwork, insulation, proper maintenance practices, etc.) He is incredibly knowledgable and patient, honest, with a wry sense of humor and sincerity that is almost palpable. When it came time to stop fixing the old one and get a new one, he worked with me to determine the best one for my needs and budget, and talked me through where and why I needed to add some ducts so my 1928 house would be more evenly cooled/heated. Everything he said would work, did. I did several remodeling jobs for clients over the years, and used Brian every time, with much success. I've referred him to neighbors who have actually called me to thank me for sharing his info. I no longer live in Southern California, and I've begged Brian and Kathy to move to Texas so I could keep working with them, but so far they've refused. I'll keep dreaming! I noticed my neighbor was having a new system installed and asked the installer if he could look at my a/c. He was very nice and tried to repair it but came up with it need to be replaced to the tune of $4400.00. I decided to shop a bit and calked Turner. We had Brian and Jordan from Turner Air come out to service our a/c system. They ran diagnostic tests to make sure the system was running efficiently and provided us with the proper path to maintenance of our a/c unit. Inside the unit it was utterly filthy and disgusting, we had no idea how to do this type of service ourselves. They cleaned years worth of buildup off of the blower and the coil and hopefully saved us thousands of dollars spent on a new unit by just servicing this one. They were very courteous and tidy and informative. No pushy sales job, just presented us with information and service in a very kind manner. Brian Turner replaced the ducting in my Sherman Oaks house. He was able to fix the airflow to all the rooms, where before there had been almost nothing. He doubled the return air system and redid the supply plenum. I only know what these things are because I'm reading the contract, but he explained it all to me. His knowledge of all things air conditioning really put me at ease when picking him. His crew's work ethic was excellent as well.
