Wow! We had a really nice meal at The Empossible Eden Cafe! Super friendly staff and a cute cafe atmosphere! Jon had the salt creek scramble: cheddar cheese, spinach, tomato, zucchini, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. His scramble was delicious but it was placed on top of fried potatoes that didn't seem well seasoned. He had a choice of pancakes, French toast, fries or toast. He opted for their cinnamon roll pancake upgrade! OMG! This was the most AMAZING pancake I've ever tasted! All the yumminess of a cinnamon roll.... Butter, cinnamon and sugar swirled in an amazingly soft pancake batter! It looked and tasted simply DIVINE!!!! I ordered their Reuben sandwich. They were out of Swiss so I opted for pepper jack cheese. I had a choice of salad, fries or pasta, but I asked for fresh fruit and they were super nice to oblige. Jon's coffee was a bit sludgy. They really need to get an espresso machine. Their fake vanilla cappuccino machine is from 1980's gas stations! I CLEANED my plate. Not a thing left! So yummy! This place a run by husband and wife team. They are both really nice . The wife told us that our food may take awhile as we sat down because there was a group of 8 people in front of us and they only have 2 burners. The food here was really surprising. When my family and I saw this little cafe on the side of the street I was intrigued. I sat for nearly an hour waiting for a coffee refill, and to request jelly for my toast. The waitress never stopped by, and it was clear to me she was actively ignoring me, and wanted me to leave so that the table could be used. My first and last time there. I'll go back to the Haven. Came here for brunch after camping at Sol Duc. This place is so cute and so busy on a Sunday morning! Folks were watching football and coming in groups as we ate. We sat at the bar as it was quicker. - Eggs benedict: the sauce was great and the eggs running, didn't love the muffins under it, but they were okay.
