I love this place. The atmosphere and food are great! The employees here are always super friendly and quick to getting your order out, oh, and this place is always open, which makes it great when everything else closes so freaking early downtown. My only issue and it's minor, hence the 5 stars, are the prices. I ordered one sandwich, a bottle of water, chocolate milk, a donut and a piece of cake and it came to 34 dollars. I feel as though it should have only been about $20-$25 max. So, all and all, I do recommend this place for a tasty sandwich or dessert and will definitely be back, just not as often as I'd like due to costs : P read more

The coffee was decent, but the atmosphere is what makes this place stand out. There are couches, tables, and comfy chairs for seating, and the staff is very friendly. Haven't tried any of the pastries yet, but it was fun to sip a hot coffee while reading. read more

I love Tuscan Cafe. I live within walking distance and it's my go-to for good coffee and yummy sandwiches. The ziggy's delight (#5) is one of my favorite vegetarian sandwiches by far! I was so disappointed, I had heard and read some good things. I bought a lb of ground coffee (for $11) but when I weighed it myself, it was short. Very short. The baked goods are stale, old, and overpriced. A sandwich is over $9. A very skimpy sandwich, and not worth it at all . Over priced and not worth it. AND they rip you off when you buy their ground coffee. Do NOT recommend. :( read more

Great little Gem in downtown Northville. Skip the Starbucks around the corner and you won't regret it. Perfect spot to hang out with friends and coffee and food is spot on. This used to be my absolute favorite coffee shop ever! I loved their lattes the most. However, they seem to be cutting corners with the drinks now. More ice, way more milk, less coffee. Atmosphere - cozy. Staff - friendly. Food - tasty. The only problem was they have a system where you give the tip before you get your food. You order at the cashier and pay. They have an iPad and it asks what tip you want. So basically you have to tip the waitress for the wonderful service she will give you in the future. read more

I'm in Northville a lot and this one of my coffee / sandwich places. It's been a mainstay in the city for a while. My favorite thing to get is Greenburg's with a cup of coffee (and maybe shot of espresso if it's Monday morning). Definitely worth a visit. read more

This is a self serve cafe. They use Zingermann's products but don't hold a candle to the Zingermann's creations. We had pastrami on rye with cole slaw, Russian dressing and swiss.....except the Swiss was not existent in appearance and flavor. I queried whether they added the Swiss. In this sandwich one should be able to see the ingredients. I was disappointed. The location is clean. The staff pleasant and behind the counter except for cleaning the tables. They have a tip jar and yet one is expected to clean their own tables. If you are just getting a coffee to go it will be fine. Who ever cleans their bathrooms needs to pay attention to the baseboards and exposed pipes as it has been a while since they have been cleaned. Was treated very rudely by the lady / manager during my last two visits. Not customer focused cafe. First visit I accidentally thought my google credit card was charged twice. When I kindly asked confirmation she was immediately very arguementive that I even questioned her and the charge. Regrettably, this am July 4th I give the cafe another chance during my daily 2 mile walk I stopped at the shop for a cup of coffee. I went to the back entrance since I had to tie my dog up and there was no area near front of store to do same. I accidentally went in the store (empty at the time with exception of employees) thru the back door. This same lady proceeded to literally yell at me saying I came in thru wrong entrance and to turn around and read the sign (cant you read?). While I was putting my mask on and tying my dog up, I evidently missed seeing the one way sign. If you want to be rudely treated, talked down to and pay very high prices for basic bakery/cake products this is your place. Sadly, I want to support local businesses and this store years ago WAS customer focused (my reason for trying the store again & giving THEM a second chance). I cannot see spending hard earned money to be rudely treated - will NOT visit again. read more

The staff is friendly, the coffee is good, and the environment is pretty good. I did spill my coffee three times today though. The first time was right after I ordered, I set it down on the table I was sitting at and the table rocked back and forth, so just a little graze with my knee against the table and I was off to get napkins. Then as I was driving, I picked up my coffee and the top popped off and spilled all over the seat and the console. I realized the rim was soggy and lost it's form and wasn't holding the lid properly, but thought I could still salvage this still 3/4 cup of coffee. I got to the library and almost made it to my seat without a spill but barely lost balance which caused me to squeeze my cup a little, of course the top popped off and coffee all over the table next to my seat. Please consider better quality cups, even if you have to charge more. read more

Loved this quaint place that has been around for 22 years. I stopped in this morning with my biking buddy (we rode about 12 miles north to downtown Northville). Coffee is awesome; the Sumatra and the MI cherry both hit the spot for us. We sat outside to enjoy them. The owner, Terri is wonderful to chat with; gave us a bit of a history of the place. Although we didn't have any sandwiches, all the Zingerman's sandwiches and pastries looked delicious. I will just have to go back to try them all now. read more

Amazing coffee from actual HUGE espresso makers, great snack and lunch selection and they also a variety of different drinks. I usually purchase the quiche and an espresso and I am never disappointed. Also they accept pretty much all credit cards (they use the cube). read more
