I provided what the OTD should be along with a breakdown of what my payments would be with the base price, X down, .99% interest listed on Hyundai's site, and loan years. Unfortunately today he text me accusing me of not understanding and telling me I couldn't have the .99% interest and get the base price I was quoted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He then gave me an OTD $4k+ higher than what we talked about. Appreciate that they loaned us a hybrid Elantra during a major service on our Sonata! We appreciated the technician's clear high-quality video explaining what he did and what he recommended. I wish that my 2014 Sonata was not burning so much oil. It has only 152000 miles. We have owned many sedans with higher milage that did not burn oil. Apparently, Hyundai has a lifetime engine warranty, but it does not kick in if the engine burns oil. It only kicks in if the engine rattles or seizes! read more

DO NOT lease a car from here! I recently turned in a lease and got hit with almost $2k in charges. I took really good care and the car was garaged. They claimed excessive wear and tear. My friends family and neighbors will not be going here after this experience. The leases seem like a good deal up front but be careful when you sign the contract. They tell you that the 12k mileage is standard but you're getting 15k. Then when you go to turn in you are over mileage. Such a let down. read more

Came in with high expectations based on all the glowing reviews about this dealer. Unfortunately, that all appears to be untrue and mostly false when I almost sold a car by Michael shieh. Very pushy and didn't really let me test drive vehicle (door poorly only got to go a block but suspect it's because car was filled with regular instead of required premium) and was instantly trying to have me walk out the door at high interest rate. Coupled with the fact that the car key battery were dead "oh well maintenance is not in to fix this" car was also covered in chipped paint. Touching on the specs he lied about what gas the car used, states online to use premium and he told me I could use regular which would destroy engine. Coming off a strong recommendation from Chris honestly had no expectations for such a good turnout. Was originally hoping for a $0 DAS deal, the initial offer was pretty generous for 24 months. Took their offer elsewhere for competitive quotes and a certain place said they could match it. Almost went forward with them, but they didn't include the first month's payment in the DAS. All the while Carlos got us an even better deal and gave us a no pressure experience. Eventually the other location caved and matched the deal Carlos got us, but not after a bunch of grief and back and forth. Carlos gave us a straight forward and polite response without the harassment and guilt tripping other dealerships employ. Thank you so much! My only tick would be the finance trying to pressure us into a specific protection package and even lower the protection package cost to an absurd discount when we initially didn't want it. The usual finance process takes a while no matter where you go. Hopefully in the future they are able to process paperwork ahead of time and settle financing well before we arrive. My review was going to be 5 star until I found out how dishonest the sales team was at the dealership. I am very disappointed and distraught. My husband and I saw a 2023 Hyundai Sonata on line which was advertised by Tustin Hyundai Dealership, it had low mileage and said it had been at the dealership for 16 days. WE decided to drive an hour and half to see the car and test drive. Once at the dealership we located the car on the lot, looked at the body , rims and tires. Everything looked good. we went to find a salesperson to get the key and ask to road test the car. A Gentleman by name of Terry said he would help us. We went on the road test, I asked him how did the car end up there and he said it was a leased car ,that's why the mileage was low. We asked a lot of questions and he said well hold your questions ,lets see if you buy the car. We got back to the dealer and went inside, started talking about numbers and compromised on a sale price. At that point Terry said he would go out to have them take the car for detailing and also have them fill the gas tank. We went to the Finance office and started signing paperwork, they had me sign that once I buy the car ther eis no returning! Also, one of the papers Sheryl gave me said the car was a service loaner! I was shocked, I said that's not what Terry told us. She said the car belong to Tuscin Dealership and they used it for service loaner. I was dumbfounded. When we came out I told Terry that he didn't tell us the car was a loaner , he just dismissed what I said. This means that they made 100% profit on this car and misguided us while selling it. I am sure that's illegal. Then we go out into the car for Terry to show me some features and my husband shows me a 6-7 inch long deeep scratch next to the gas tank , which was not there when we first inspected the car. We tell Terry and his attitude changes right away and he said oh well it is a used car so it has scratches, it is what it is. That happened while they took it back for detailing . We asked for him to fix it or put touch up paint, my husband went with him to parts and he said they don't have it. I asked to talk to the sales manager and he came out with Terry and said oh it needs to be painted , have a good day!!!!! Then I was in the car adjusting the mirrors and terry comes with money in his hand telling me to take it for the touch up paint! I said no. (touch up paint is normally $30-$40) This was a horrible experience. I thought since this dealership is independently owned they wont cheat and lie but I was wrong. read more

I bought a used 2014 Toyota Corolla from Tustin Hyundai Kia a couple of years ago, and I still get angry thinking about how shady the entire experience was. After signing the paperwork, they suddenly told me I couldn't take the car home because it had open recalls; information they conveniently "forgot" to mention until after the deal was done. Sketchy? Absolutely. But it gets worse. When I finally picked up the car after the recall was cleared, my rear brake lights weren't working. My husband noticed while driving behind me a serious safety issue that could've caused an accident. I called the dealership immediately, and their response? Indifferent like meh...‍ Then the creaking started. Strange noises from underneath the car. We had it looked at, only to discover signs of previous damage and repairs things that were never disclosed and mysteriously missing from the Carfax. You don't need to be a detective to figure out what's going on here. They knew. They hid it. They sold it anyway.
