To be fair I ordered take out ... but I have to say this breakfast was not that great. I ordered the ham eggs benny. Let's start with the sauce; really had little taste. The sauce is so important in bennies and this was flavourless. Couldn't taste any lemon at all. Then the ham was not shaved, instead it was a thick cut of ham and it didn't really have much flavour at all. Even the hash browns had little flavour. I'm sure the other menus items are good but I cant recommend the eggs benny read more

I normally avoid chain or franchise restaurants because I prefer to eat local. However today it was just more convenient to eat at the 23nd Ave location near Century Park. I was very surprised to find that I enjoyed my meal and it was healthy too. I had the breakfast burrito which came with a huge helping of fruit (see the photo). The burrito was very filling as it was made with 3 eggs. I wish they offered a two egg burrito as I was just stuffed after eating. It came with lots of fruit to erase any guilt I felt at eating so much as well as finishing off all the sour cream. My guest had a waffle which came with 3 kinds of meat. She also found it too big but certainly enjoyed it. Service was very friendly and prompt. The prices seemed high for breakfast so they could make slightly smaller dishes for a lower price but some people might like that much food. In theory you can't eat too much fruit so I'm okay with my order. Coffee was fine, about what you would expect from a chain. There were lots of other good things in the menu so I can actually recommend this place to anyone with a big appetite. I think in another review someone said this is like Cora's used to be before they changed their menu and I would agree with that. I was very satisfied although I may end up skipping supper because we didn't finish until nearly 2:00 and I won't be hungry for a long time. read more

Absolutely one of the best places to go for excellent home cooked style breakfast. Clean fresh feel as you walk in to great welcome. Seating is somewhat spacious so you don't have to be overheard during conversations. We went with their breakfast selections for lunch today. If I could do below zero, I would. This was truly the worst experience we have had at a restaurant. We came for a birthday and made a reservation- that's about the only part that went right. We waited forever for our server to come and take an order from our group. The restaurant was beyond disorganized- our one drink for a kid came after the food arrived. As for the food it was inedible, the waffles were so over cooked they were hard. Had our server bothered to come check how the food was tasting we could have told her. Wed eventually flagged down a different server because it had been forever. The server kept apologizing but had no idea what to do. When a kid won't eat a waffle covered in chocolate- because it hurts to bite into the waffle that says something. Apparently "there was no manager or supervisor on today" so there was nothing the server could do about the awful food besides bring some replacement toast for the inedible waffles for ONE person and some fruit for them. We will not be returning. And who ever manages this store needs to start showing up on your busiest times BREAKFAST ON WEEKENDS and TRAIN YOUR STAFF. It's basic knowledge to check in tables to see how things are going and refill water at the least. And on another note- since when does every Location use different brands of product? That's pretty insane as in any restaurant chain, it should be the same company wide. we had two different brands of syrup on our table alone, the sausages were not at all the same as other locations, nor was your smoothie or tea brands. read more

We went here with a large group of family during the Christmas holiday break. Because it was boxing day it was pretty full. But they were able to accommodate a large group. The service is a little bit slow but they didn't seem to be that many people on staff. The coffee refilled were hard to come by. If you haven't been this place is very similar to a Cora's. The menu has a lot of fresh fruit sides. The presentation is great. I had the salmon bagel. It looked a little bit like a hamburger bun. It didn't have a hole in it so I wasn't sure if it was exactly what I had ordered. But the taste was good and the fruit sides were delicious. My husband ordered something that had home fries with it. He seemed to really enjoy his meal. There are a lot of eggs Benedict options as well. This is a good breakfast place. read more

My spouse and I happened upon this lovely little place by accident, and we sure were happy we did. The service was phenomenal, the food was fantastic, and the price was great. We walked in, and immediately noticed a warm feel to the decor. It was a Sunday, right as the lunch rush came in, and we were able to be seated immediately, with 3 servers acknowledging and checking on us. We got our food, and the portions were beyond ample. The Crispy Strawberry (French Toast) Sandwich was divine, and the vegetarian Crepe Panini was stuffed full with vegetables and cheese. They've got a solid array of brekkie options, and lots of options to add fruit or some decent healthy substitute. Truthfully, the menus is very comparable to a Cora's without the tacky decor. Horrendous service. Getting coffee took 30 minutes. I had to flag a coffee server while she poured coffee for everyone but us. We are Asian and I am almost 100% sure that they are racist. Almost the entire restaurant were caucasian. Getting food took 60 minutes or more. None of the staff came to ask us if we were okay or explain why the food was late. Their breakfast is nothing worth waiting for. Why would anyone come to this restaurant?! Poor customer service is inexcusable. At least communicate with us. Our waiter avoided eye contact and never told us why there was such a delay. 2 hours wasted on going for breakfast. I highly do NOT recommend this restaurant. Do not waste your precious time that they do not care about. Shame on the restaurant owner. read more

We go for brunch almost every Sunday, and we like it very much. The fruit is always fresh, rest is very tasty and servers are always pleasant. It can be a little slow at times but that's either due to being very busy or short a staff member, but all in all we love it, if you have to wait a little bit you'll find it's well work waiting for. Stopped here for breakfast today as we had a promotional coupon from Wounded Warriors. We were not disappointed! The restaurant is well laid out and spotless. Our server was very attentive and gave us our choice of seat - we took a window. The coffee was hot and deliciously strong and she brought us an ice cold bottle of water as well. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Asparagus and Swiss cheese and my husband ordered the Tutti Frutti Breakfast Sandwich. My Eggs Benedict (2) were done perfectly - medium as requested - the hash browns were flavourful and hot and the fruit (cantaloupe, strawberry and apple slice) was freshly cut. The apple (Golden Delicious) was a bit soft, but this was minor. My husband's sandwich was an easy over egg and two slices of ham between two slices of thick French Toast. The side of fruit was really nice! Fresh banana, grapes, cantaloupe, pineapple, strawberries etc. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely go again and would love to try their lunch menu now! read more
