YES! Tutti Frutti expanded to the Northside of town. I don't have to go to Hong Kong market for it. Sometimes the smell in Hong Kong market just makes me gag. The location of this new Tutti Frutti used to be occupied by Cold Stone Creamery. It's next door to Pei Wei. I was sad to see Cold Stone go but in reality it was a blessing in disguise. Ice Cream is just so evil. Cold Stone has this one concoction called Coffee Lovers Delight. It was pure evil. Any who... it's gone and now it's a "healthier" type of dessert. The flavors of frozen yogurt are different than the location at Hong Kong market. Tutti Frutti in HK Market has more variety in the tart and exotic flavors. The suburban location has sweeter flavors like peanut butter, cheesecake, vanilla and strawberry banana. They still have mochi as a topping though. Thank goodness. The decor of the new location... Ikea-ish furniture and the colors and design looks Hello Kitty/Sanrio-esque but in primary colors. So in other words... this place is GREAT for kids and teens. Still searching for a good mom and pop coffee shop out in this area. read more

While the yogurt was good the customer service just didn't measure up. I chose this place because it's pretty close to home and I love trying new places. The place is decorated very cute and it's in a nice strip mall. However, my first experience wasn't that great as the young girls behind the counter were hanging around talking instead of wiping down the tables and getting the yogurt and topping spills that consumed the floor. I was almost scared to eat the toppings because it wasn't very presentable. I suppose customers drop things as they fix their favorite treat but it's up to the employees to get it back right and the day i visited it just wasn't right. I'll just make the drive to Menchies from now on. read more

Yay my first Yelp review! I tried this place when it first opened last summer, and after the first day, I came back for another 3 days in a row- it is that good! I'm not a big fan of regular yogurt, but frozen yogurt is a different story. I had been going to Frozen Cafe, and I like Swirl near the Galleria as well, but Tutti Frutti is so much closer, and they have so many more flavors, not to mention the futuristic-but-not-tacky decor and the cleanliness. It seems like every time I visit, the place is more crowded. Their yogurt is consistently good. Frozen Cafe is closer to my house, but I really try to avoid it because their yogurt is just never cold enough. It already starts melting as soon as it touches the cup (maybe they're trying to save on the energy bill). Tutti Frutti froyo is always cold and firm. Although I think they have something like 12 flavors to choose from, I almost always get the same thing every time: 2/3 original tart flavor, 1/3 strawberry flavor, and chocolate chips, walnuts, and moshi for toppings. Don't underestimate this place just because it's not near downtown or the Galleria! read more

YUMM, everytime i come here i leave happy. There's condense milk to top your yogurt off. This is definitely one of the best froyo places, great quality and great choices. The different flavors all taste great. Only thing is, it's a bit far for me, but i'll definitely be coming back. read more

They keep changing the flavors and getting rid of the "normal" ones (salted caramel and coconut), while adding odd flavors like horchata and taro. Maybe it's the neighborhood? The last time we visited we just walked out because we didn't want chocolate, vanilla, watermelon or taro. read more

I stopped in the other day with my 4 year old daughter. Ive got to say, this place is amazing!! Self serve is my favorite. They have about 10 flavors, I tried coconut, chocolate, and cheesecake. All 3 were amazing! A good variety of toppings and everything looks fresh. They keep everything very clean. Good price, cute little place. Will be going back soon! I've had better frozen yogurt and ice cream in the past, and this is by far the most distasteful frozen yogurt ever!! I am absolutely disgusted by the poor service here and the way they have the toppings set out! As for teens coming here, I've experience them and they act very rambunctious with poor mannerism. I do not like this ice cream, the yogurt tastes artificial, I will stick to my Greek Yogurt and my Yoplait from Wal-Mart!! Yummmmmmy! The yogurt is absolutely deeeelicious! I'm hooked. The best part? The yogurt (sans toppings) is actually not bad for you. An 8oz cup of strawberry fields is 180 cal, low fat, and relatively low in sugar. I discovered this place two weeks ago and have been three times now...going back today! My three boys like this place better than Ben and jerry's. Go figure! Warning: this is self serve, the cups are large, so the potential for going way overboard is great. Check it out. read more

I hadn't had dinner because of my late run and I was in the mood for something light like a smoothie, I was craving Jamba Juice but it was closed. I saw Tutti Frutti and I decided why not. There aren't a lot of choices but there are enough to make you doubt and make it hard to choose. You can choose anything from Cheesecake, Banana/Strawberry, to Mango and that's not it after you choose what you like (you can mix and match at your own risk!!) there are a lot of sweet condiments like cherries, sprinkles, M &M's, and a lot of great sweets that an ice cream shop would have. I was so confused on what to get so I said F it, Cookies and Cream with Fruity Pepples and Cherries. That might sound a little off but I liked the flavor. Right when you pay they place your cup of goodness on a scale and that's how they determine to charge you, which I was kind of clueless to be honest with you. I would come again to try other combination's, my only complaint is that Tutti Frutti isn't specific with their pricing, or at least they didn't do a good job of displaying the prices. It isn't a bad yogurt place but it doesn't live up to the expectations created by other tutti fruttis. The service is nothing special and they serve oatmeal for the granola. It's nothing to huff and puff about, but this particular location is lacking some of the charm that you get at other locations. However, the yogurt is good and the toppings are abundant. This spot always has good frozen yogurt with a variety in flavors at least 12 strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry banana, mango, raspberry, coconut, cookies and cream, salted caramel, cafe latte, yellow cake to name a few of what I've seen lately. It's tastes pretty good when you add a few toppings in. The yogurt is cold enough and slighty thick at first, but then after maybe 10 minutes melting begins fairly quick. If you live in the Hong Kong 3 Market area, this is probably your best bet at Froyo. Surprisingly, this is the closest froyo place for me so I do occasionally visit it when I have a craving for a cool, inexpensive dessert. I walked in and asked for some sample mini cups. Probably this is the owner's idea but you can't really have the freedom to do sample tastings here without the worker doing it for you. I fully understand why and it's sad because I know some customers do abuse the privilege of getting samples by yourself. The flavors are OK, but nothing too special. If you like tart like me, this is pretty OK tart, not too sweet or anything. Lastly, the fruits, some are mushy after being out so long and being stirred around like kiwi and the strawberries were frozen. If I wanted my fruits frozen, I could just go buy a bag of frozen fruits at the Randalls next door and munch on them. I prefer to have my toppings fresh tasting, but I don't know...that's just me. read more
