Yogurt is hit & miss depending on what flavors and toppings you use. I like the chocolate brownie one. I'll echo the other comments about this place having quality customer service. Obviously the employees are trained to be cool & courteous, which is cool. Nice to not have an emo teen glaring at me for having the nerve to buy dessert! Last night I had a quality experience. The cashier handed me change and a penny accidentally fell into my yogurt cup. He offered to let me make a new dessert, but I declined (I've done far worse to my own cooking). Typically they have about 8 yogurt flavors and a variety of gelato. There is a good amount of toppings including gummies, boba, and chocolates. The pricing is a bit expensive but usually pretty good quality. They have a punch card for you can use to get a free one once it fills up. By far my favorite yogurt place! Great flavors and very tasty. I just learned that two of the yogurts are low calorie/ sugar free, with only 1/3 the calories of regular. The Gelato bar is fabulous also. And, the selection of toppings is quite varied, and outstanding. The owner is usually there, he is so nice, and the place is spotlessly clean. I love this place!! Not just because the yogurt is delicious...But more so every time I visit the place is VERY clean & staff is super fantastic. I'm a huge fan of Tuttimelon's yogurt. Reading prior reviews, I'm very surprised by those who felt they had bad customer service. The first time I wandered in there to look around, whoever it was who was there explained how it worked and offered tastes of, well, everything. Everyone there has been quite friendly and helpful. When I came back to buy some yogurt, I brought my own containers (reduce-reuse-recycle -- take-out salad pints are perfect) and have continued to use my own containers. (By the way, it's perfectly legal to do this. Whole Foods has been allowing it for years. You just need to ask them to check the tare to see if it's the same as the tare on their own container.) This is a big plus IMHO. I don't feel any need to add to landfill. Good for them on allowing bringing your own container. The original tart yogurt has hooked me. I no longer want sweet yogurts! Yum. Tart yogurt, in combination with any fruity yogurt is a winner. If only they weren't so far away, darn it. read more

This place is so amazing. The place is always clean. I love their process of their store. I love it how they greet me. They came up to me asking if I'd like to try anything. All the workers are nice. For all my vegan friends heading to Marin on a hot day, give this place a try. The reason I suggest this is instead of just offering a fruit flavored dairy free treat (there are 4 of those too!) they also had a coconut flavor. I don't think I am the only vegan out there that is completely unimpressed with fruit flavored "sorbet". It does not mimic the creaminess or texture of ice cream enough to even bother. However, the coconut was very full of flavor and once it got a little warm it was nice & creamy. The small is actually 2 scoops so it was more than I wanted and wasn't any more overpriced than all the other ice cream shops out there. My husband ate the dairy yogurt and wasn't impressed with the flavor intensity. He is not interested in going back but I stand behind my 3 stars for the coconut flavor! read more

I love the flavors that they have. They always have my two favorites, plus other unique options. They also carry gelato. My favorite is the variety of toppings. Cinnamon topping that is delicious and these little juice popping balls about the size of an eraser head. So delisch! They stay open late on Saturday night so you can get some after the movies. Not the greatest option for serve yourself yogurt. I do get annoyed when they pour your samples instead of giving you the sample cup. They still let you serve yourself for your purchase. Although the flavors rotate, they don't really have (or this time) options. All were fruit based, and then vanilla chocolate. Sad topping options. Where can you find no sugar added yogurt that tastes better than the kind made with sugar? Usually 2 of the 8, or so, flavors, have no added sugar, and with the fresh fruit, including papaya and blueberries, this is really the pause that refreshes, without the usual caloric price tag. Michael, the owner, and his wife, are extremely hospitable and deservedly proud of their first rate service. Clean and spotless, conveniently located, and rewards, as well. I have gone to this yoghurt shop for years, but today I witnessed the owner of the store disrespect and berate a young mom with her two children. The mom did not have enough cash to pay for her order, so offered her credit card. The owner told told her that there was a minimum amount that she needed to use. The mom apologized and said she did not have enough cash; this is where things became very uncomfortable to witness - the owner was berating for not having enough cash and now he had to throw her purchase away. I felt so awful for the mom, and the look her two children had on their face was painful to watch. I approached the mom and offered to pay for her order. I know times are hard for all of us, but the way the owner was talking to this poor mom was just awful, and I don't know how in good conscious I could ever go back here. read more

We take care of our 3 1/2 year old grandson on Mondays and Fridays. After time at the Park we always stop for "ice cream" at Tuttimelon. They are always friendly and helpful. The store and restroom are spotlessly clean. Lots of great gelato ,frozen yogurt and fresh toppings to chose from. We love this family owned frozen yogurt shop, and our kids would visit as often as we will let them! When we experienced the extreme heat in Novato it felt like the whole town was there, and we even stopped for a treat when it was cold and rainy. So, I really wish I could give this place 5 stars like most of the other reviewers, but I just can't bring myself to do it and it's all because of the horrible customer service. I've been here a few times and had an "okay" experience but today left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended.) The employees (or owners) that were working this afternoon were very rude and didn't seem to actually want to be there let alone actually do their jobs. I was very disappointed. I would rather go somewhere with "decent" fro-yo to make up for better service. I was getting helped by two helpful girls, when this stupid grandpa sent them away and bombarded me with samples. OK I am writing an update to my nasty review years ago. I have gone back in there after sometime away and the male owner has changed for the better. He is no longer rude and really goes out of his way to be helpful and friendly. I have forgiven him for his cold demeanor and size it up to stress from starting a new business. They always hire good staff, keep the place very clean and YES they have excellent frozen yogurt. They change it up with different flavors and also keeping the tried and true flavors for the repeaters. I hang my head in shame as to my bad review and now I highly recommend this place.
