This place is super clean and bright- definite plus for an ice cream place- but it is my favorite because they have the best service ever. Obviously the yogurt is delicious, but you can sell a great product and still fail. This place succeeds because it is run super efficiently by super awesome people. Cashier kid who helped me last night and the two other times I went- you are awesome. Literally so nice and so good at your job that I think you deserve some kind of award! PS- I don't know why anyone is complaining about the price...I get enough yogurt and toppings to be totally satisfied (and I am by no means a small person) and its 4 bucks....in fact last night I got two yogurts, one fully loaded, and one just a couple of swirls no toppings, and it was only 5.85. Wow .. . . . went here for the first time with my husband today and he ordered a couple of pretzels which were amazing and fresh from the oven. He was in 7th heaven. They only took about 5 minutes and in the meantime I walked around the shop and noticed the WOW frozen yogurt which is low dairy and low sugar. I decided to go for it - Tiramisu was the flavor. It was so awesome I wish I had gone to this shop before. The guy at the counter was so helpful with the pretzels and the yogurt was so terrific that I'm already thinking of going back tomorrow!! read more

A delicious and fun place to take the kids for dessert. Love that you have the option of decadent gelattos or do it yourself yogurt. For some reason Yelp is letting me do a second review, even though I wrote one just a couple of months ago. I absolutely love their Original Tart frozen yogurt. They have about 12 flavors of yogurt, and they are all only 8 calories per ounce. However, they also have Gelato, smoothies, pretzels, and believe it or not, yogurt for dogs (that's strictly take-out though). When we were there the lady owner (I believe the franchise is owned by a couple) was cutting up fresh fruit for toppings. Love that! The place is kept very neat and clean at all times. read more

I can't speak highly enough about the staff here. They all seemed to be on it and the place was immaculately clean. Phillip helped my friends and me. I loved his level of customer service and how much attention and care he gave to the work he did. Even when he didn't have any customers waiting in line, he was proactive about cleaning up the glass shields and the self serve yogurt areas. My 12 year old and I have just discovered tuttimelon. Amazing yogurts, and I am very particular. The waffle that my daughter ordered was something special - single serving homemade delicious. I was visiting family in the area and they wanted to have desert here after dinner at Jennie Lows. I was not expecting great yogurt but I was pleasantly surprised. Their yogurt tasted different than the regular boring yocream yogurts the other yogurt shops in Marin use. I loved their vanilla bean flavor. It was full of vanilla bean speckles. Their toppings bar and some great toppings like like of fresh fruits, real cookie dough (not the nasty cookie dough bites found in other shops), waffle cone pieces and more. A great addition to the shop was their big gelato section. The flavors I tried were very rich and flavorful. I also went with their gelato but I couldn't afford all the calories. Minus one star because they were pretty pricey. I'm used to paying $.35 for yogurt. read more

We live all the way to Pittsburg but we make it a habit of stopping by to this store whenever we visit a friend in Novato. This is our favorite Fro-yo store, it is super clean, wide selection of gelatos, delicious flavors of frozen yogurts, the Taro and Pomegranate are divine! Their fruit toppings are always fresh. Great customer service from their employees. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they actually do the same job as their employees, I always see the owners cleaning and mopping the floors which you don't see all the time in other business establishments. Walked in on a Thursday before a work meeting to grab myself a little treat. I tried the creme brûlée gelato. It was pretty tasty! I ordered the smallest size, and the scoop was much smaller than the already small cup. For nearly $5, I would expect a little bit of a larger portion. Despite being thrown off by how small the portions were (in relation to the cost), the woman working was pleasant and friendly, the place was clean, and the gelato was tasty. Well I happened to stumble upon this place today in Novato and met the two owners Marisa and her husband Michael. You could tell they were the business owners because they were very enthusiastic about everything they make and serve. It was clean and well lit with nice music playing and variety of flavors are constantly changing. Along with a soft serve yogurt They have a wonderful selection of gelato. It was the Danesi coffee creama crème brûlée A lemon mint sorbet The salted caramel almond and a delicious chocolate along with the bestseller cookies and cream also the most wonderful chocolate chip cookie dough gelato. And yes these were just the ones that I've tasted. The serve your own frozen yogurt it's not your every day yogurt it's Rich it's creamy and there are some wonderful toppings including his wonderful fruit balls that explode in your mouth. The smoothies they serve are not your normal smoothies they are chock-full of great servings of vegetables and fruit. The prices are right. I can tell I'm gonna be going to this place a lot. How do you improve on perfection? Michael & Marisa of Tutti Melon have done just that. Marisa masterfully blends the flavors using all fresh fruit, and love. She serves it with a smile and that same love. I've never seen her without that smile. Michael not only serves, but educates the buyer to the healthy benefits of frozen yogurt, I go in for the yogurt, but stay for the friendly chit chat that ALL the employees have. This is my favorite frozen yogurt place- ever! I moved from Hawaii where we had frozen yogurt everywhere but in terms of taste, quality, and cleanliness this location has got all the others beat. In matters of taste, I discern a fro-yo place by its original "tart" flavor and choice of fresh fruit toppings like mango (my favorite) and freshness of goodies like brownies. The original flavor is excellent. The toppings never taste old or stale, nor do they have a weird aftertaste like they've been loaded with preservatives. My kiddos love rainbow-sprinkle chocolate chips, poppers, and maraschino cherries- and the staff does a great job of replenishing. This place is pretty much always spotless. The last thing you want when you go out for a treat is to sit down in someone else's mess, and I have never had a problem here. The staff make every effort to clean-up whenever they have a chance and are attentive to making each customer's experience great- I so appreciate that! Also, in terms of customer service, the owner Michael is a good business leader in the community. My son's school had a fundraiser and even with short notice he contributed something for the auction. That speaks volumes about community interest! I usually don't write reviews but I felt compelled since I recently saw some negative comments for this place regarding customer service. I'm not sure what problems they had, but I've observed that the owner Michael and staff are always cordial, and provide exceptional service. I feel that a customer needs to respect businesses too- just because you are being served doesn't give you leeway to act however you want and demand to be treated royally. First of all, this has to be one of the cleanest if not THE CLEANEST yogurt and gelato spot I've ever been to. Staff works hard at keeping the place tidy while ensuring you try any samples you'd like before choosing what you want. Clean bathroom, countertops, seats and windows go along way in a busy place like this one. The yogurt is very tasty with a variety of choices. Fresh toppings with clean spoons to serve yourself. Easy pay system. You can weigh your items one at a time if need be so your kids can sit while you pay. The machines are always working, the product is consistent and for all that you get the prices are fair for what you get. Gelato is to-die-for! Fun that they have tv with old school Classics not today's crap. Soft hit songs play in the background but the music isn't too loud which is very nice!! Great spot for kids and adults alike. Just don't leave your kids there while you shop next door or hit up Starbucks- that's just plain rude and bad parenting. read more

He was bent out of shape because I picked one strawberry from the yogurt before it was weighed and I had paid. He also follows people around if they ask for more than one sample.
