    Paccheri ai Frutti di Mare

Cute surrounding area what places to walk around after! I was initially drawn to this place since many of their pasta options reminded me of Italy. The Paccheri is imported from Italy! Everything was delicious and the service was great. They are definitely plentiful in the seafood. I was able to get some in every bite. The buccatani had a fresh and sweet tomato flavor thanks to the onions. It was very reminiscent of homemade sauce. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly too.

Came here on our first date since having a baby Wanted to come here last Valentine's Day but it was booked two weeks ahead. Jamie was our server , she was energetic, bright, super friendly and set the tone for the night. Place has a full bar! My wife and i had martinis, had the calamari (tomato sauce without the frying) , carpaccio (super interesting w the celery) - the risotto and i got the cioppino - super delicious! 5 stars, fantastic experience !!

I visited Francoli Gourmet on a Sunday for Mother's Day dinner with my family. We got the calamari alla fra diavola to share with the table, & I ordered the salmone all'arancia as my main. I also got to try a few bites of my family members' dishes & liked everything across the board, but wouldn't necessarily say anything was anything to write home about. The live music was a lovely addition to the ambiance. The one downside was that the service was a bit slow, which was slightly stressful since my sister had somewhere to be & had to leave a little early. Would be open to visiting again, but I would most likely consider other options beforehand.

We are back in old Orange to have another superior dinner. Our waiter Was Brian, a patient and calm waiter. They have so many choices. We had the Lasagna and the seafood with linguine. Lobster, mussels , shrimp, calimari and scallops , all in one great dish with small garlic toast. It was almost too big. But not quite. Always a treat to come to old orange and have our great italian dinner here.

Loved the short rib ravioli! The sauce was to die for. They also gave us a strawberry panna cotta because we were celebrating a birthday. It's located in the orange circle so arrive early to find parking.

I'm surprised I haven't written a review here yet! My husband and I are becoming quite the regulars here so this is definitely past due! This is one of our go-to date spot that our friends introduced to us to. From my understanding this is Italian owned business with not only great quality food but also a wonderful assortment of rich olive oil, balsamic vinegar, jam, wine, packaged noodles you can buy straight from Italy. The service is always friendly but they can get very busy. Highly recommend a reservation. They've been so busy before they wouldn't even do take out orders. Ambiance is quaint. I love the beautiful Italian chandeliers they have. I've had a hard time with the chairs if I have a thick coat or a clutch hand back hard to put on the seat My husband orders the carbonara everytime which is our favorite item on the menu. Very authentic to us. I've tried many different pastas and just tried the lasagna last night which is not super heavy if your hesitant on feeling too full, was a great portion amount and wasn't super greasy either. Other items I've tried are the but my favorites are the fettuccine Alfredo (not on the menu), the short rib ravioli - super tasty!, and this mozerella crusted Pattie's in balsamic and creamy tomato sauce (seasonal or not on the menu sometime) that we love! I wanted to love the seafood risotto but I've had better. I used to order paccheri alla boscaiola which a popular item but I have to be in the mood for all the red onions which can be overpowering if there's a lot. We have tried some Of the apps which are always super fresh but we tend to order insalata calabrese which has a bit of everything Italian salad and great for sharing. The free bread is a plus too. Highly recommend coming for date night, family night, or even a small special occasion. Thanks for the great food and service!

Francoli's is a small, quaint corner restaurant right in the heart of Orange Circle--so convenient that it feels like it's in our own backyard. The pasta quality is consistently excellent, and you can really taste the homemade care in every bite. I ordered the wide tube sausage pasta and it was so, so, so good, while my husband loved his seafood pasta. The rest of the food was just as delicious. Service was wonderful--attentive, kind, and knowledgeable staff made the whole experience even better. If I had one critique, it's that the special mozzarella felt a bit pricey for only two pieces. But honestly, it's a small drawback compared to everything else they do so well. We'll continue to support this local business--great food, great vibe, and a staple in the Orange Circle dining scene!

Got this for lunch and I devoured their pasta immediately. It's def made the Italian way with basic ingridents but that's what made it so good!

    Calamari alla Diavola

I really enjoyed the food! Started with a calamari, and I really enjoyed the texture. It was perfectly chewy and drenched in marinara sauce. The sauce was beautifully seasoned, and it wasn't missing a thing. Order the cacio e pepe and it was so delicious and not overwhelmingly creamy. The noodles were cooked al dente which i prefer. Topped with fresh graded parmesan on cheese. Ordered a specialty dish, which came with lamb and fettuccine noodles. The meat was delicious and it fell off the bone! The sauce came with a marinara style sauce with chunks of meat in it. Our least favorite thing was the bread, as it came cold and It wasn't too soft. Our server was polite and attentive. He provided some suggestions and things that were off the menu. The restaurant was a cute little cafe; we sat outside and it was a nice little view into the orange circle.

Came here for dinner while in town. Did not have to wait for a table. Nice ambiance. Bread served and we ordered a simple Salad and burata. Both pretty good. We ordred 4 pasta dishes. The lasagna was decent. The vegan pasta was ok as needed more flavor. The 2 seafood Pasta dishes were very good. Service was good. Prices decent.

    - This place is RUDE. You will be pressured to eat and get out as soon as possible. The waiters will come by every 5m to clear a plate as soon as they see one to grab, and they will stare you down when they're not hovering - Our waiter kept reaching around our shoulders and heads to grab dishes. At some point, he nearly elbowed me in my ear. It's tight quarters, but he could have just waited until the meal was over to clean - The tortelloni al limoncello was god-awful. The sauce was oddly sweet and had no balance. I will say the tortelloni itself was delicious, but that sauce...there was no saving it - The hazelnut Italian soda was good! Not too sweet - The panna cotta was unfortunately very bland - The bread basket was dry and felt like it had been left out for days - I will say that my friend's cacio e pepe gnocchi was delicious though

It had been a while since we have been here. We stopped in last weekend and enjoyed a wonderful early dinner for 4 people. The short rib ravioli was fantastic as well as the pasta bolognese. The olives were the perfect starter as well as the carpacio. The prosciutto and melon was yummy. We also enjoyed the coconut sorbet. My inlaws had steak entrees and they enjoyed them. It was busy, but I had made a reservation earlier that morning. We really enjoyed our meal.

    Pasta carbonara
    Crystal N.

To start with, our server's shirt was filthy and splattered with red sauce. I don't know what the situation was, but this seemed like an appropriate time to wear aprons to avoid that. He kept reaching around me and bumping up against me when there was ample space to maneuver around me. It's always a trade off between handing the food directly to the person furthest away from you, or just place the plate down and have people pass it down to whoever ordered the dish. Getting elbowed in the face and trying to dodge him every time he came around was not a pleasant experience. For what seems to be a fancy restaurant, they didn't have any salt or pepper on the table. I had to ask for some, and was handed a thimble-sized shaker. It's possible that they grind the pepper fresh in the back and refill these shakers, but... it didn't taste like fresh ground pepper. The bread basket that came out had maybe 3 varieties of bread. One type was fluffy and great, and the others tasted stale and dry. I ordered the pasta carbonara, and the flavor was fine if not a little heavy. It was made with bucatini, which was an interesting choice because that's not what I would've chosen to use for this dish. Due to the thickness of the bucatini, the balance of pasta/sauce was off and it was too pasta heavy. Changing the type of pasta used could help with the balance. My sister ordered some type of tortelloni with a red limoncello sauce since it was one of the few vegetarian items on the menu. The tortelloni was great, but the sauce was NOT. To me, it was a deterrent from finishing the dish and we ended up trying to wipe off as much sauce off the tortelloni as possible, just to finish the meal. I wish we could have rinsed it. My other friends both got the gnocchi dish, which was also delicious. It seems to be a crowd favorite for a reason, and maybe worth keeping if they decide to pare down the menu in the future. Overall, I would not come back. The service wasn't great and the dishes were such a hit or miss that it isn't worth the gamble.

There are a few parking lots in the Orange circle area in addition to street parking. All parking is free. We parked behind the restaurant in one of the lots there and it was less than a minute walk from the restaurant

    Yes, $20.

    Is their patio dog friendly?

Yes, I have taken my dog there.🐾

    Is this place vegan friendly?

No, i don't remember any dishes that were labeled vegan. Nor am I a vegan to ask if anything can be prepared in that manner.

After hearing so many good things about this place we decided to come and give it a try. This place is not big , it had maybe like 15 tables, it tucked away in the back of a shopping center. We walked in and were seated right away. Our waitress came over and explained the specials and we ordered an appetizer and our drinks. I ordered a mocktail and my husband ordered a Negroni. They just recently got their liquor license so they just started with the cocktails. For our appetizer we went with the carpaccio, it was absolutely delicious. The lemony sauce was so good and it is topped with some arugula and served with some toast. I would order this again. For our entree I ordered the Frutti d mare and my husband ordered the cannelloni Romano. The cannelloni Romano are 3 crepes stuffed with chicken , spinach and cheese and topped with more cheese and a red past sauce. My husband enjoyed them very much. We have actually never seen this served in another Italian restaurant before. My Frutti d Mar was also very delicious, it had scallops, shrimp, clams, mussels and calamari.Served with some linguine in a delicious red broth. So delicious. Now I can understand why this place has been around this long. I heard that the same chef has been making those dishes for 36 years or maybe more. That's a great consistency to have. We will definitely be back to try some more delicious food.

I think I was a little hesitant because in my head I was thinking how good could possibly really be? In my head spaghetti/pasta is something I can make it home and almost thought it a waste of money to go out of my way to go out specifically to eat this dish. I ordered the Arrabiata pasta with the sausage. I'll admit I was a little thrown off by added cost of each tolling and also added cost of the Arrabiata sauce and I also did wait until a fair amount before the food was ready for takeout. But the pasta really blew me away. I'm still thinking about how good it tasted. I would definitely come back and I actually wanna bring my dad who loves spicy pasta like this. It was really that good. I can't think of another place that has this level of pasta let alone this price. The only negative I would say in regards to one of the workers. The cashier was manned by wonderful woman who did every and all tasks from taking the orders to putting food items in the oven to answering the phone I'm probably much more than that. I don't know. In contrast there was an Asian man with a black shirt who was also working. He looked lost and completely helpless. There was a moment where this woman was so busy and there was a ringing that I assume was from either a phone call or a delivery order. This man did not offer to help more nor did he help from what I saw. He was utterly helpless and unhelpful. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the encouragement "Hey help your team out!" The woman on the other hand was doing so many things simultaneously and yet was really kind at the same time. Paired with high-quality ingredients imported from Italy, the result is a combination that produces truly memorable dishes. The sauces complemented the pasta rather than overwhelming it, making both plates especially well executed. I also had the Chopped Salad for a lighter option.
