This place is great! So much fun to play with the kids and watch them explore a new sport and have fun! I used to come here every summer back in the 90's, I am so happy to see the place is still as wonderful as it was back then!

We love this place. The staff is friendly and this is fun course. Our family plays here whenever we are in town and then head next door for ice cream. It makes for a nice afternoon!

I may be an adult but this course is still a blast! For only $5 a round this is the best deal in town. There are some difficult holes but still fun for all skill levels (but it did help I played golf the day before!). It is set back off the main street in a nice wooded garden type area. There are plenty of seats along the way and lots of great photo opportunities. For $50 you can become a patron of the course and they will add a customized stone to the course with your name or message. This is very unique and makes it feel like a true local spot. ***Covid-19 update*** They are currently limited all groups to a maximum of 5 people. There is plenty of space between holes so social distancing is not an issue. They clean all clubs and balls after each use. There is no bathroom though so be advised

    Front fun!

This is simply the best mini golf around. I have come here ever since I was a kid and it has not failed to still impress me as an adult. Everything is thoughtfully built and made to look magical. They've recently made some improvements to the holes which is greatly appreciated! Some got a little easier. There was one near the back end that used to have a wood plank that would absorb all momentum which now has ceased to exist! Each hole is unique and reminds me of lucky charms. The string lights make the whole experience magical and the last hole gives you an opportunity to win a free game if you make it in the hole! I will continue to come back

This is such a family fun place to enjoy! The game of golf itself is pretty cheap and the kids and adults all had a great time. The courses are fun and well spread out. The staff were super friendly and took their time to explain everything to the kids. At the booth where you pay for the golf, they have snacks available for purchase such as candy and ice cream.

I've been coming here since I was a little kid, and it never gets old. This is a compact miniature golf course located in the quaint town of Twain Harte. There are 18 holes plus one fun freebie hole at the very end (good luck making that sucker!). There are lots of fun obstacles on just about every hole to keep things interesting. It can get busy on the weekends, but during the week in the afternoons, it's slow enough that you can really take your time. I know that they are closed during winter, so get your fix while you're able to! The people that work there are always really fun and friendly too! The decor is nice and there are lots of shade providing trees. Games were $4.50/person when we were there and they're $5.00/person later in the evenings which is a heck of a steal! (Prices are at time of publication of this review. They might change at some point so don't rely 100% on this knowledge). I love this place and will continue to come for as long as they're open!!

Friendly staff, fun old-school course. Took our 4 year old grandson one day and he wanted to go the next day too. A great time was had by Grandma and Grandpa too. The park and pool are in close proximity, so it makes for a nice afternoon. We'll return again and again!

    Family fun!

I had no idea it was only 6 rides. I thought it was unlimited rides for 5 hours. It goes fast! definitely runs out before 5 hours, so not sure why it says 5 hours. $38 It is still the only way to go as most of the bigger attractions are either : $10 or $12 per ride and only last 5-7 minutes long:( and.. there is NOT enough shade for adults that are bystanders. But if you want to blow through $76 in about 1 hour to join them on all 6 rides.. you can do that too. also, no one told us at purchase point that it was only 6 rides AND that if you go on water ride... you can not go on any other rides wet. period. whaaat?? Thank goodness I had an extra pair of clothes in car for our sleepover. Or there would have been a strong request to return the pass for another day. There is zero shade by bumper boats. Please drill a hole in the tables for an umbrella. Please provide shade for your customers. I thought I would have a stroke in the duration of the 5 minute bumper boat ride. lol. I would seriously consider a monthly subscription for unlimited rides if they had one. Also, be prepared to stand outside in the sun while you fill out the waiver (at the entrance) with your phone. Sooo annoying. and must be done EVERY TIME you go. There is always one of the attr as cations closed for repair for months now. It's a virtual game. Not sure what it is because it's always closed. they take credit cards. So that's good. no charge.

They offer snacks/drinks, if that's something you need when you get there. We picked our club & ball & started the course. Upon entry, the setup was very cute, very western style. (I didn't take enough photos because we were having too much fun). Some of the holes had you spin a wheel & do what it landed on. Which was a great addition to where we even went back to spin it again for the course ahead. Overall, this whole experience was really fun & a cute idea for a date night or even to just go with friends & family. They do offer a birthday room, which we seen on the way out. It was indoors and underground and perfect for a rainy day group activity! We actually parked at DOCO for lunch and it was an easy walk to Old Sac. It just so happened to fall on May the 4th so there was Star Wars music the whole time and themed lights. Also some Cinco de Mayo decor along the course as well. We did the full 18 holes as three separate groups of 4, staggered, pencil scorecards. The theme is Gold Rush and the gal giving the intro spiel was really into it. You're starting from Missouri on your way to Sacramento, gathering supplies and surviving the journey with hopes of striking gold. Rules (no big swings, play thru) and putters/balls provided. Each part of the course had detailed murals and props to make it feel immersive. Examples include longhorn cows, snowy pine trees, wagon wheels, TNT dynamite, a saloon, a jail, even the river itself. Some holes had spinner wheels which gave bonuses or handicaps. Hole #1 had temporary obstacles (buckets) but that was the only one. Some holes straightforward but others challenging to complete in less than 3 strokes. Overall a fun activity. Good luck going for a hole in one! Par for each hole ranges from 1 to 5 depending on difficulty. Always neat to roam the historical Old Sac underground city sections. Since you are underground though, phone/data signal might be weak, keep in mind if you need to add more time to metered parking via an app or something. The rest of this week they have Cinco de Mayo, Revenge of the Sixth, and Mother's Day free photobooth session. They do have upgrades and different pricing for adults, seniors, kids. Snacks and drinks available for purchase too. Located next to Vampire Penguin, down the stairs.

We arrived a little before 12 pm and were greeted by an employee. For the golf course selection, there are 3 options to choose from (but one course was currently closed). We ended up choosing to do the castle course, which has 28 holes. I had cash in my purse so we paid for a smaller discount of $20 per person. If you pay credit card, it would have been $20.60 per person (I am assuming for the credit card fee?). We were given our clubs and 2 colored golf balls. And the employee who checked us in had told us that there is a hole where the mill is not working. The motor to power it is not working but that we can slowly pushing it towards where she is and it should work. The castle themed course is very cute and we really enjoyed seeing each hole, which some of them were really challenging. Some of the holes were also really well constructed and decorated, including the one with a ship and a giant goldfish. We golfed here for about an hour. And I am happy to say that I ended up with the smaller amount of strokes (just by a margin though). Although this course has 28 holes, you only golf with 27 holes. And then for the last one, you come back inside where you paid for your admission and put it in one of two machines. I placed my golf ball into what looks like a plinko style game (which reminds me of The Price Is Right show). But I don't know if I was supposed to try to win something or not or just to watch it make it's way down to one of three holes. And then my husband placed his ball in the other machine that looks like a slot machine. Overall, we had a great time and am glad we were able to make it out here.
