I went to Twee's Nails for the first time 2 weeks ago. I got the dipped polish which is usually long lasting. After a week my polish started chipping. I was left with a glue like substance under my nails. They never cut my cuticles either. When I called they said I was too rough on my nails that's why the polish was coming off. I had done the dip polish for about 6 months at a different place and never had a problem with the polish chipping off. read more

I love this nail salon! I go every 3 weeks to get a no chip from Tom! He is the best! This salon is very clean too! I always recommend when I have friends or family visiting from out of town. It would be nice for them to purchase more no chip polishes, I've been there so many times that I'm having to repeat colors. Either way, this is the place to go. read more

Got my nails done here for my wedding. I got mani pedi. Pedi was fine, nothing too notable. The mani was finished with a no chip french manicure that looked great. Lasted about a week and a half. The faults here were that this appointment took about an hour and half and I did hve an appointment. For my wedding it was fine but for a normal weekly place it was slow. I had a mani pedi appt today and technician Kevin did a great job. I had read the reviews and agreed that other places were inconsistent or disappointing. Kevin did a great job on the pedicure and manicure, very detail-oriented and took time to do everything well. He was careful with my healing fractured finger. Great job! I will return!! read more

This is my French no chip manicure. The lady did a horrible job, got the nail polish all over the tips of my fingers. She also managed to cut my skin off the edge of my cuticles and made me bleed. This was most likely due to the fact that she was constantly looking up at the TV and her phone. Will not go back. read more

Twee's is a wonderful family business and their work is beautiful. I have terribly thin nails, and they've helped me so much on the best products to use to keep my nails healthy. Very clean, usually on time, color lasts a very long time, they make sure your nails are even, and they do exactly what you want for colors and even suggest certain things to spice up the look. The only thing I do not like is that you can tell when they are rushed (they still manage to do a pretty good job though) and that when I used to get fake nails I would notice tiny bubbles in the gel coat. They do not try to push things on you and make you feel obligated to go with the more expensive option. Overall I like this place more than most of the ones in the area. Staff is also very friendly and they always have something entertaining on the T.V. which is a bonus. read more

I can only speak to waxing, not nails. Terrible experience with eyebrow waxing here. Wait was much longer than initially told. You sit up in a pedicure chair, not lay on a table which probably made it difficult for the person to reach. I've never been so unhappy with how my eyebrows looked after getting waxed. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks, I never knew about Twee's nails until a few months ago. They give wonderful service. One time i had gotten a brand new set of nails, and by the time i came back to get a fill, they realized that my fake nails were completely gonna fall off, so they fixed them gave me another new set, and most salons would charge you for that BRAND NEW seet, but they only charged me as if i was getting a Fill. I have been going to Twees for years and never ask for a particular technician because they were all very good. A few weeks ago, I was assigned a new, younger gal for pedicure. She barely exfoliated my feet. They were rough the very next day. I had her remove the no-chip on my hands because I just wanted to give them a rest without product for a few weeks. She filed the layers of nails so much on my fingers, they have been peeling and cracking for two weeks. My nails have never looked this awful in my entire life - and I'm over 50! I'm treating them with oil but just this morning, two more peeled away again. (She charged me $8 for this destruction, too). read more

SO UNORGANIZED. I went there to get a full set and the lady was searching all over for tools throughout the entire process. She shaped my nails terribly, completely uneven. I went there a week ago and already 2 of my nails have broken by themselves, I didn't do anything to them. Overall terrible quality. read more

I just went to this salon about two weeks ago to get a pedicure, and the next day my big toe was INFECTED! I had pus and it was extremely swollen and red, and so painful. It either had to have been from non-sanitized tools, or now that I think of it, she didn't take the plastic out of the bowl your feet go into after a previous client had their feet in there. My pedicure was at 4pm. They got me in right away. At around 412pm the lady was pretty much done getting ready to polish my toes. In the meantime while my feet were waiting for polish she sprayed cleaner in the tub underneath my legs. Not to mention the 2 minute leg massage that wasn't good as it was. They say they do gel nails and charge extra for gel nails, but they're actually doing acrylic nails with a gel overcoat. DON'T LET THEM CHARGE YOU GEL NAIL PRICES FOR ACRYLIC NAILS!! They'll show you a container marked "gel powder". THERE"S NO SUCH THING!! Gel nails require UV curing or a spray catalyst to cure/harden. Gel nails do NOT require mixing powder and liquid. That's acrylic. Ask questions. Demand they use REAL gel if they're going to charge you for gel nails. read more

This is where I always go to get my nails done. It's really hit or miss depending on which technician you get. I have fake nails - and Kenny is GREAT with applying them. He's amazing and I've never gone to anyone else until last night (hence writing this review and giving only 3 stars) and I had a female technician. To say the least she was lazy. I had a french tip manicure going in and I wanted to get a solid color put on. She basically refused to do it and asked "why can't you just keep the french?" so I agreed and said I'd keep them another week. All she did was trim them and apply a new coat of gel and called it a day. It was clear she didn't want to take the extra 20 minutes to do what I actually wanted. This has never happened with Kenny before. I always completely change my nails/color every 2 weeks and he never complains. That's how it should be. My friend is almost finished, so I decline explaining that I don't want to be here all night, and starting on time would make me almost done by this time. No thanks. Go elsewhere. Your appointment time means nothing here. They will then talk poorly about you in their language, laugh, and tell your friend what they are saying. Extremely unprofessional. read more

A customer for two years is no longer. Very disappointed last two visits. Todays nails and toes had rough edges that caught on things. Nails filed horribly uneven. Toes bled in the corner towards the top of the nail bed. Tech was so rushed and not careful. Not as clean as usual either. My first time getting my nails done in years, and it was my first time getting acrylics. I believe the woman's name who did my nails was Hung. I kept very still and she did leave a small cut on my pinky finger (but in return she did deduct $3 from my total price). It came to 25 for french acrylics with a small design. She made it quick and easy. My only complaint about the nails themselves is that the pink coat she put on beneath the top coat was a little smudged looking. Clean, looked nice. It was busy but rather than tell me to come back later for a mani-pedi they tag teamed it; one did my pedi while another stood by the side of the chair and did my mani.
