French Dip
Ian M.

This is my second visit to Twin Colony Diner. My family was camping locally for the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and we always try to find a good diner when traveling and Twin Colony First the place is clean and open later then most places around. It has a very large menu and a bunch of specials. Our server, while not generally friendly was attentive and kept my Diet Pepsi filled. However I ordered the French Dip (I usually do if it is on a menu). It came with Swiss cheese and au jus on the side. Unfortunately the beef was not very flavorful and had some gristle that made parts tough to chew. The au jus was VERY salty. All in all not a great sandwich. It did come with a very small side of coleslaw which was very good (if just a fork full). Not sure if I will be back a third time.

Gyro and Eggs

Was looking for a brunch spot passing through the area. Had seen this on the way out the day before and thought it would fit the bill, especially because I was with my ten year old daughter who doesn't like breakfast and was happy to pick pasta. I loved that I could get gyro meat (my standard diner order) on a breakfast platter. Home fries weren't my preferred style but I had no issue clearing the plate. Price was incredibly reasonable.

I can honestly say that I am severely disappointed in Twin Colony, Fried Chicken Dinner 19.99 Salad, Bread and Butter, vegetables, and fries... Asked for a salad with no onions it came with diced onions , no bread and butter, no vegetables, the fried chicken I never laughed so hard it would of been perfect for a kids menu. Seriously 1 regular piece of chicken and the rest were the size of my pinky, my boyfriend was mad and went to the manager and the manager said it's portion controlled that's how they came in, so they made me some new ones and I just told them to put in the box to go... So before we left I checked the container and died laughing they grabbed the smallest chicken and gave them to me ‍ like you really can't make this up! Good bye Twin Colony we used to be regulars but not anymore charging 20 bucks for that and then try to justify trying to get away with it nope. The place used to be terrific after covid the prices went up, the food went to hell. So sad

I have heard great things about Ordinary Joe's especially those wings and their multiple flavor options. Our server Lindsay was and is awesome every time we have been there. We were there for the wings of course , decided to go with the smoked butter bbq which is dry rub, man these were so so so good! Tried honey medium , bomb! Of course mild is always a good go to , and the honey bbq. Allllll so very delicious!!!! Now that I know they are so close I am excited to try the other flavors. I also tried a beer called awkward hug out of kent falls , soooo good and cute art on the can ! I appreciate the staff that takes care me while I am there ! Clean facility ! See you soon!

First visit to the O Joe's North location - understanding I/we love the original. It exceeded every possible expectation. Food is terrific - has the same standard as Watertown, but our wings were cooked even better. Fresh, hot, crispy, juicy. Definitely the best Ordinary Joe's wings we've had (and we have a lot of them, often). The food options are clearly rooted in the original concept. However, there are some more/different options here. Everything looked and smelled fantastic. I look forward to investigating further. Our server, Vanessa, earned 25 stars on her own. She was attentive, personable, yet worked quickly and accurately - manning a full bar and dining room simultaneously - while making us feel like we were the only ones in the joint. Manager/(Owner?) Paul was terrific as well. Stepped in to ensure all tables had what they needed, were clean, and everyone happy. It was truly noticeable that customer service is a priority for the team. Building is new/redone/beautiful. Similar, iconic O Joe's feel and decorating - yes, the gridiron is painted on the ceiling. Just a great space. Great vibe. Eat-off-the-floor clean. Simply can't wait to go back. And, again, I am so lucky to have proximity to both locations. **Just one note for families who may go with children or teenage boys (like me)... The service is so great, no one at the table will have an empty glass for long... that's a really positive thing. But, fair warning, soft drink refills are NOT free (nor should they be, frankly). However, with an 18 and 16 yr old in my party...those Cokes accumulate quickly.

The dinner menu was atypical, featuring an eclectic fusion of dishes executed with lots of creative flair. Flavor, quality and freshness of ingredients were top notch. Our starter, Garlic Maple Whiskey Chicken Bites, came accompanied with grilled shishito peppers. Perfect for sharing and so lovely paired with a glass of prosecco. Next, we sampled Bouillabaisse and Miso Roasted Black Cod in dashi broth. Seafood for both mains were super fresh. The Bouillabaisse broth was remarkably flavorful, the hint of saffron ever present but not overwhelming. How nice to have the red pepper rouille and slices of bread (customary in France) served alongside for the authentic experience. Miso Roasted Black Cod was tasty, succulent and fork tender. Beautifully arranged with mushrooms and Brussels sprouts surrounding the fish, plus a delectable piece of polenta cake tucked underneath. Dashi broth was poured onto dish tableside, creating a warm umami rich dish that was not only delicious but also extremely satisfying. On to desserts....The Chocolate Tarte with sea salt, nuts and berry coulis, a picture of understated elegance, was incredibly sublime. The Warm Apple Tartlet à la Mode with vanilla ice cream was good too. Would have preferred a tad less cinnamon though. All things considered, this was an exemplary meal. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. Hope to return again soon.

This is not a super upscale place, but you will still find it comfortable, easy to navigate the food selections, and the service is always on point and quick. They have a large spread of food items, from your usual General Tso's and lo mein, to braised pork, to chicken wings and French fries for the kiddos. There is a large spread of meat and veggie options for everyone, and they serve slightly different items during their dinner hours. Price right now after tax for lunch hours (until 3pm) is $13.90, which for an all you can eat place is absolutely insane. I encourage everyone to try a little piece of each option you want, because you can always go back for more at any time! There's a cold octopus dish that is my personal favorite and if I could ever learn the recipe I'd eat it non stop, but genuinely, this is a nice chill place with average to really good food quality, and there's so many things to pick from that no one will be left without options. I highly recommend this place, and even after moving cross country for years I always come back here and will continue to do so each time.
