i had some massive, delicious portions of classic chinese comfort food here, and the fast, friendly service made it such a great, easy stop.

I've had plenty of similar dishes from different places and this one just hits different. I must say it's always on point. Very similar to kapoon and other curry noodle dishes. My next go to is always the papaya salad Lao style. I need the sauce as dark as it can get. It's just my preference. With a side of sticky rice. I love the spring roll as well. Love the crunch they have in the center of the spring roll so you get different textures and I love that. Lad na combination was delicious also, very flavorful. The server was a sweet young man. He was very helpful and attentive. Came by to make sure we got everything we needed. I enjoyed the little restaurant ambiance. Very cute and traditional. I felt every piece of the culture.

My friends recommended this place and took the opportunity to go when I was in town for an event. We ordered lots of food. Everything was delicious. My family were impressed. Portions are decent. Food is a bit pricy but so is everything else in the world right now. Service was a bit slow since they were busy. I'd definitely recommend it if you're ever in stockton looking for a Thai/Cambodian fusion!

Walk in sat down the server came over and gave us menu. Takes our order and it was a simple menu so yeah . The place needs some cleaning because the table wasn't clean right . The place only takes cash payments it said by the register. The food came out and they were greedy with the bean sprouts and lemon and jalapeño sliced. My daughter wanted meatballs but they said they didn't had any. When the food came out I taste the soup and the soup wasn't it I don't know what they used but it tasted fishy. I got the phnom penh noodles with broth. My daughter look at me when I put lemon into my noodles and she knows I never do that . I was trying to get over that fishy smell but that didn't do it either so I add other stuff to it didn't want to disrespect the cousin for treating us out . So I kept trying to eat whatever I can but nope that was a no to me never again and not only that the Chinese donuts thing was not it they're small for $1 and it wasn't fresh either it was at least a day old the way that bread pulled. The worst Khmer food I ever had compared to the Long Beach noodles shack. I don't know how it's still open to be honest. I love supporting small businesses but this one has no business being open . I give it a 1/10 oh and we was a party of 6 I didn't want to take photos because there was no need to nothing was worth to be posted. I wouldn't ever go there again

I would say their level 3 spice for the laap can get pretty spicy -- it's a slow heat that creeps up on you as you continue eating. One thing I'd ask for next time is some lemon or lime, as I like my laap a bit more tangy. They make their sausages in-house, and while they were good, I think they could be a bit larger considering the price, along with a touch more salt for a more savory flavor. That's just my personal preference. Overall, the food we ordered left us very satisfied. Our waiter was very kind and recommended a few dishes for us to try. Unfortunately, some items were out of stock, but that was completely fine. The decor is beautiful, and I love the lighting! It has the feel of a fancy dining establishment, but you can skip the suit and tie. We had no issues finding parking and their bathrooms (2) have been generally clean when I visited. Overall, a great experience, and we look forward to coming back.

It's a casual ambiance, order at the register, then seat yourself and they bring your food out. My go-to has always been the yellow curry with chicken, but decided to try their basil chicken most recently and it was delicious! The sauce had a sweetness to it that was well balanced by the basil, but I do wish they added Thai chilis for some spice like authentic Pad Kra Pao. You also can't go wrong with any of their noodle dishes. They have vegan options as well and my family loves the papaya salad. I appreciate their affordable prices, generous portions (an order of their yellow curry always yields 2 meals for me), and consistently good food.

We also added the Crab Fried Rice and the Fried Riblets. The fried rice is seasoned perfectly, and the riblets are the absolute ideal pair for the rice! Portions are generous, the space is clean and spacious, and the service is always friendly. If you haven't been here yet, definitely give them a try next time you're in Stockton.

Learned my lesson after selecting Bangkok Restaurant based on delivery service rating, which…read moresounded quite promising at 4.8. A quick check of reliable standby, Yelp, was lacking. My rating is 3.0 Good pricing, decent amount of food, typical selections, with sketchy area, especially after dark and uneven quality of dishes. My DH went with his typical Chicken Pad Thai. There's no place on the online ordering system, still furnished by the restaurant, for desired heat level, which is pretty important for Thai joints. I wrote in the Notes section "please make this dish mild, without peppers". For myself, the Pad See-Ew with pork. I always dream of getting char siu but dream on. Also selected the generic fried rice and a couple other dishes. Gung Pad Pak, shrimp sauteed with winter mix veggies and peas. The last item was Pad Ke Nieu, with green peppers and tomatoes and some very big and soggy pieces of bok choy. The best dish was the sauteed shrimp and veggies, which all tasted fresh. The worst was the veggie and beef. About half pound dried out rice noodles, possibly not rehydrated long enough in water beforehand. I found a teaspoon's worth of tiny beef fragments. The Pad Thai was okay but the chicken was rooster-tough and dry. The included chopped Thai peppers had my poor honey stop eating after only a few bites. The Pad See-Ew had plenty of small pieces of thin, dry and tasteless pork, which had a very unusual grain, like wood burls. Veggie and noodle ratio fine but this dishes badly needed sauce. About 1 1/2 teaspoons of those firey little peppers in mine, which I also ordered mild. No issues with the fried rice and I did really enjoy my refreshing Jackfruit milkshake. The spot is in a strip mall, with lots of unhoused folks wandering around and possibly making some customers uncomfortable. The bare bones decor shows a business trying to make do but I hope they have a heart and share some of their end of evening leftovers with those less fortunate, instead of just throwing that away.

I'll comment on the taste in a bit but I want to first highlight something I've never experienced. In all my work-from-home years I've never once had to-go experience where the dishes looked like they'd been plated for table service at the restaurant. Sure some stuff shifted in the Dasher's car but it honestly blew me away. Even the drink was carefully wrapped and put in a little box to ensure it wouldn't leak everywhere. As for the important bit, the taste, man... I have had so many amazing Thai meals at places in the bay area and honestly just assumed the most Modesto would get is some great Banh Mi spots. Obviously I haven't had the chance to try the whole menu but my go-to, Tom Kha, this is the best Thai coconut soup I've ever had! The Pad Thai is as good if not better than what I've had in San Francisco as well. I'm really looking forward to bringing friends and family here to check it out in person! Side note... yes, it's also very expensive ordering via Doordash with their added fees but it's 2026 and it's California. So far my multiple orders have been well worth the price and I expect the same experience in person! (just, you know, without the extra Doordash fee nonsense)
