Doing our best to enjoy the night with lousy food
    Jimmy D.

The food is sub par. The service was slow and inattentive. The peaks sampler wasn't fantastic and the fries weren't either. It was fine to watch the games on the TV but I prefer quality food when I go out to eat. The servers seemed like they didn't even want to be on shift. It was just a lot of bummer things. We haven't been back.

We had a great experience here. I noticed many of the negative reviews were from some time ago, so maybe management saw and improved. We ended up here after finding out hooters didn't have the big ten network. Sierra, Brooke, and Cash were some of the best bartenders we've had anywhere. They were friendly and attentive. Sierra fought to make sure that my husband's game didn't get changed off the TV he was watching it on. There were plenty of Tvs to go around. The spicy meatballs were great. Nice spicy taste without it burning. Tacos were tasty with a spicy side sauce! The nashville hot chicken sandwich was spicy without being unbearable with a slight sweetness for balance. We were there through shift change. The second crew Teresa, Andi, Bri, and Bink were excellent as well. And the Cajun dry rub wings were delicious!

Have you been to a place to eat that is very meh? Have you suffered from trying several thing on the menu and never enjoying it and complain about it every time you go until you are about to give up hope and your friends start considering kicking you out of the group because you are a "downer" and you think that there will never be anything that you find that doesn't convince you to stop hating it? This happened to me. It can happen to you. Until.. I found this "The Hottie" flatbread pizza thing. It was straight up deli-shoes. Service was meh, water was terrible, and the vibes were alright. At least I can join back I'm with the boys and not ruin the trip. If you go here, get this.

Can't attest to all the negative reviews; we had a great meal at this Twin Peaks. Six diners in our group that came in because we had a coupon for free queso. Can't remember the waitresses name but she was from Stephenville, Texas. She was friendly and attentive to our needs. The queso was probably the weakest dish of the meal. Menu depicted a concoction of several types of cheese with pico and roasted salsa. The mixture was watery and thin. Good flavor but I don't know if I would order it again. Hey, at least it was free right! My entree was the Blackened Cod Tacos. Fish was seasoned well and paired well with basically the kitchen sink thrown into three flour tortillas. Green beans as my side were tasty bites. Had some of my GF's chili too. Bold flavors and truly better than my own recipe. Other dished consumed were Nachos, Peak's Sampler, and Green Chili Chicken Soup. So, I don't visit this type of restaurant too often. The "breastaurant"! This menu more comprehensive that previous visits; maybe I just missed the blackened fish which is my normal goto dish.

Bianca is super sweet and just got married. Congratulations my Argentina sweetheart. Her hair is so long and beautiful.

Great and DELICIOUS VERY COLD BEER is served with good service and a great vibe. A local spot for cold beer and good food. A cute and friendly smile never hurts. Always good people to chat with. College Station and Bryan (Hill Country) rocks. Go Texas A&M. My go to when visiting this area.

Terrible service. 15 min to get a beer and waited 30 min to get our tickets. There were maybe 5 tables in the restaurant.

Today, ate at Chicken Oil Company. They were amazing growing up! Wow how they went downhill!…read more Koppe Bridge is what Chicken Oil use to be. You place your order, they make your burger and it goes from the grill to the bun. Nice and greasy like it should be. Chicken Oil has become so packed you can't move. The burgers have become an assembly line. They cook 10-20 and toss them in a pan where they sit until it's moved down the line. Dry & cold. Koppe Bridge has a wonderful atmosphere. Old school country music playing. Creaky wooden floors. The one thing I CAN give the edge to Chicken Oil is the friendly and helpful staff! Because honestly..I've eaten at Koppe numerous times and literally every single time, the girls in the front are essentially snotty Sorority-type girls. Always different girls but always the same type. (Rude, eye rolls, zero friendly customer service). Maybe they need to hire staff based on personality and not how cute they are.

I've had their burgers so many times that it should be rated on Texas Monthly. They are great. This time I changed it up and went with the chicken friend steak sandwich basket. The parking seems small, but just circle around. Whatever side you come on, go to the "back" and you'll find room. When you come in go straight to the cash registers and place your order/state your name. Grab your drinks and find a seat. Pay attention because when the guy screams your name into the cheap-axst speaker system, you might loose it. Consider it an audiology exam. If you come in with a parent that was on Peanuts, they will understand the PA perfectly. Everyone else takes their chances. With the basket you get a PILE of bar fries. They are great and there's a mountain of them. This alone should lure you in. I went with the chicket fried steak sandwich. Very tasty, but for some reason I thought it would come with gravy. Nope. If that changes your impression of a chicken fried steak, you may want to pass. I just covered it in ketchup and enjoyed the change up. Pro-Tip: Don't even try to come here on game days.

My son ordered the scallops and to say they were gritty was an understatement. And the service...well when we could flag our waitress down we got service. Otherwise she was nowhere to be found. My husband flagged down another waitress after we had been sitting there for 15 minutes without any water or drinks. We also had to flag her down for the check. Considering the price tag for the night, I expected the service to be better.

You can tell they have well trained staff. They kept up with the business. You could tell the kitchen expo was on point because everything came out together hot and freshly garnished. Well orchestrated firing, plating, and serving. We enjoyed everything but especially the appetizers (fried green tomatoes and calamari). Of course one person had to get the chicken fried steak. I had the salmon....we finished off everything it was so good.
