    Gochujang Wings

Red's Ice House is a sports bar near Texas A&M. There's plenty of free parking the the garage structure behind the complex. We came here with a party of 30 people and rented out the top floor. The waiters were accommodating and very helpful to our large party. The ambiance is casual and great for big groups. The food also was good overall, but it was hard for the vegetarians in our group. We started out with the chips and queso. The chips were a bit stale, but the queso tasted great. The sweet potato fries were crispy and seasoned well. The gochujang wings were okay - a little too sweet for my taste. The chicken quesadilla had a good ratio of cheese to chicken to vegetables and came with sour cream and guac. The salmon came out undercooked the first time, but when we told the waiter, he was chill about getting a new filet cooked. My favorite thing on the table though was the firecracker shrimp. It was the perfect amount of spicy and crisp, paired with crunchy bread to calm the palette. Although there aren't that many vegetarian friendly things on the menu, this was a great place for a big group and was very sharing friendly.

My boyfriend and I came for lunch to sit at the patio and it was so nice! I got a white linen and burger, it came out fast and delicious!! Our server was Trey and he was amazing, truly such a gem. If yall find yourself at Red's ask for him and he'll make it such a great time. He is kind, funny and great at his job!

Toasted pecan caramel cheesecake (highly recommend!)

This is my second visit not long after the first one. While the second visit wasn't on a crowded game day, the service was equally top-notch. The food is still fresh and delicious. This time tried a new entree and the dessert. There is no official dessert menu because they currently offer two items: a toasted pecan caramel cheesecake and a very berry lime cake. Our group settled on the cheesecake to share. It was wonderful! The cheesecake itself wasn't too sweet, but creamy and smooth. The caramel, just slightly warmed up, adds the sweet. The toasted pecan brings so much aroma, and we were told that they toasted the pecan in-house, which made a huge difference! Now I know to leave some space for dessert next time. The general manager also stopped by to greet us, which was such a kind gesture. The quality of the food is great, and the menu gives plenty of options regardless of what mood you are in. Highly recommend! For those who are thinking about check it out - you should and you won't regret!

Quesadilla, brisket nachos, chips and queso

My friend and I first went to this establishment because one of our mutual friends worked there. When we arrived we were seated very promptly and given some time to think with the menus. Our server was very kind and checked up on us often. I ordered the Burrata and Prosciutto Salad, which I would recommend to anyone who even slightly likes salad or cheese. The greens in the salad had a slightly sweet and lemony taste to them, and felt very fresh. The burrata was also very good and small balls of vinaigrette that popped in my mouth for a burst of flavor. We also had the brisket fries and chicken quesadilla, both of which were delicious. Additionally, the portions for everything were substantial, and nobody left feeling hungry. Overall, the place was clean and had a nice aesthetic, the service was good, and the food was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend.

It was a little warm out but was still manageable. Unfortunately, the drink menu was severely lacking right off the bat. They didn't even have basic latte or mocha options available and only had standard house blend coffee or cold brew. The food was equally disappointing. We ordered the lobster omelet and the smoked salmon Benedict. The sauce on the omelet was tasty at first but got very heavy as the meal went on. The Benedict was a huge letdown too! I knew from the menu that it didn't come with hollandaise sauce, but when the plate arrived, it looked totally bland and thrown together like a homemade meal. It is definitely not worth the $20 price tag after tax. To make matters worse, the breakfast potatoes were cooked more like small fries, which wasn't what I expect with brunch. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, and I won't be returning.

The only complaint you will hear from me is simply that it was freezing in there. It's January and we had just had the big ice freeze, but with that being said they couldn't keep it warm and we wound up leaving our jackets on and asking for hot water just so we could warm our hands. I had an apple mimosa and a lavender latte. Both were amazing. I love that I can come in and order alcohol in the morning with my breakfast. I also ordered the spuds deluxe. I got my hash browns crispy and my eggs over hard. I also got them with ham and fresh jalapeños. They were everything I wanted. Our server was very professional and checked on us several times throughout the meal refilling our coffee and water. Despite the freezing weather we will be back. Definitely give it a try if you are wanting a nice breakfast with lots of options. Next time I'm gonna try the habanero pork belly fried rice. Our friend got it and it smelled so good! Not to mention he said it was delicious and ate all of it. No tastes for anyone. Ha ha

My son ordered the scallops and to say they were gritty was an understatement. And the service...well when we could flag our waitress down we got service. Otherwise she was nowhere to be found. My husband flagged down another waitress after we had been sitting there for 15 minutes without any water or drinks. We also had to flag her down for the check. Considering the price tag for the night, I expected the service to be better.
