so an update on my last review, we actually went back on Monday so we could actually taste the food. which was excellent. but the management is so terrible at this location , which is why the hostess and waitress are able to refuse to serve a table . crazy , to find out the reason we never received our food the night before was because they ticket got lost some how . so they threw it all away. i don't think i'll be going back to this location ever again. read more

Just know that because of covid they are only seating half of their tables so there was a bit of a wait. We were told an hour but it ended up being more like 25 minute wait. Party of 4. Just a small birthday dinner out with a couple friends. We were led right to a table as they definitely were not busy. We had drinks pretty quickly but that was about as far as the good news goes. An hour after ordering, one of us had a side salad (with tomato which was specifically asked to be left off) and a few minutes later, nachos that were not supposed to have any avocado on them (which is what guacamole is made from for those that aren't familiar). Fish and chips came out missing the chips (fries) and sampler came out almost refrigerator cold. The wings (smoked wings are usually pulled from the cooker immediately and sauced to order) came out almost 45 minutes after the first plate arrived at the table claiming the kitchen was backed up. Again, not very busy and almost an hour and a 45 in at this point. From here on, our already scarce waitress practically ignored our table from then on even though we were being plenty polite with her still. The issues didn't stop at this point as the nachos and the side of fries both had long hairs embedded in them making the rest of anything left quite questionable. Oh well, the dogs won't mind some extra texture.. The manager did come around and made a big effort to make things right, especially since we no longer existed to the waitress now. Out of the past experiences that we had here, this was by far the least impressive that we have had in a long time. Out of all of the problems, at least the drinks were cold. read more

*sigh* This afternoon I had the worst experience I've ever had at this location and the only thing keeping their rating from being even lower is the fact that I've had multiple good experiences in the past. Today was the first real day of the 2018 NFL season so as you'd expect it was rather busy. We really only waited about five minutes before being seated, which for a party of seven was great. The plan was to get the family together to go watch the Carolina Panthers season opener and have a good meal. Unfortunately it all went downhill pretty quick. After we ordered our drinks it was about 10 minutes before we actually got them. Drinks in hand we all ordered our food, and we also got two appetizers to come out before our meal. Then the wait began. Ten minutes. Twenty minutes. Thirty minutes. Thirty five minutes later our two appetizers arrived, not before, but along with four of our five entrees. So not only did that kind of defeat the purpose of appetizers, one of them was wrong and so cold it had to be sent back. It was less than ten minutes before the re-fired dish came back out, and while acceptable, it wasn't up to their normal standards. Now I said four of our five entrees came out with the apps and that's because mine never showed up. When the other botched dish came back out our waitress told me my order had been incorrect and had to be remade. It was almost exactly an hour from the time I ordered until I finally got to eat. To be fair my food was delicious when it finally arrived, but at that point I was just hungry and annoyed with the whole experience. Our waitress only ever brought one batch of drink refills the entire visit and even though I asked for extra napkins when my food finally showed up I never got them. (I say extra, but we only ever got two sets of silver ware for our table of seven to begin with.) I've eaten at this restaurant over half a dozen times and it has never been this bad before. I would write it off as a fluke but you have to understand, this is a sports bar type restaurant. They have dozens of TV's that they show ball games on, it's part of their advertising. They knew today would be busy with the NFL season starting. If your service is worst when its supposed at it's best who is going to want to go there to eat and watch a game? read more

The flavor was good but just too much salt, I needed two glasses of water to help wash the salt away. My husband said the same thing about his wings... he said that was good but too salty. The food took FOREVER TO CAME!! I think around 30 plus minutes for the food, Good thing we got the chips and queso as a app. INSIDE: It will give you that cabin feel. I have been here several times in the past 5 years. Seems Covid caused some changes. They no longer have venison chili, it's now called brisket chili. Today I was lucky to have Micaya be my waitress. So the Hooters fan was in the area and had to see what this "breastaurant" was about. After all there's not one in Raleigh (yet). If you allowed Bass Pro Shops to decorate a Hooters, you would have an idea of the decor. This is a huge space. I did ask my server if they ever filled up the place, and she said when special events are in the area they do. The Twin Peaks server outfit is skimpier than those of a Hooters Girl. Little plaid top, shorts, and boots. The nametag on my server read "Bambi" I ordered the Hangover Burger, which comes with a fried egg and bacon on it. Thanks to the Yelp app I also got a free chips and queso dip. Both were very good. Only problem I had was finding the restroom, even when I was directed in the general direction. Male employee, whom I guessing has had to help others find it too, pointed it out to me. Left the race on Sunday, October 19 a little early so that we could watch the race and some football. The tables were about 2/3 full, it wasn't overly busy. Our experience began with a hostess that was rude almost to the point of degrading. She was a strawberry blond and I think her name may have been Bayleigh, but I didn't get a clear look. She placed us at a table by the bar which was packed with people standing around watching the Giants/Dallas game (which was the only game being displayed on the 25 tv's that we could see.) We asked to move and were tersely told that we would have to go wait out front until another table opened up. There were several open, so one of us went up front to wait. After about ten minutes without being acknowledged , they changed one of the TV's at our first table so we decided we'd just stay. Service was just ok. In our server's defense, she was pretty busy. It took so long to get drinks, we didn't want to take a chance with food. I have been to other Twin Peaks locations and really enjoyed them. Hopefully, this place is the exception. Worst Twin Peaks I've been to yet. I get seated, takes at least 15mins before I get offered a drink, at least 15mins later before drink shows up. Ask for appetizer...15mins later shows up. Order another drink and dinner when the appetizer arrives... 15mins later my drink arrives. 20-30mins later... still no dinner. Ask waitress for check and I leave. Note: this is a Tuesday, maybe 10-20% capacity. I'd hate to visit on a Friday or Saturday afternoon if this is how customers get served on a Tuesday!! read more
