The dental office is clean, orderly and has newer equipments. The receptionist is friendly and efficient. The dentist is excellent. I really appreciate that he explained what he was going to do and what to expect before each step he took. There were no surprises so I actually could relax through a procedure. Haven't had the best experience with dentists in the past and I was having a toothache so I knew I needed to go asap. Heard about Dr. Anthony through a friend who recommended him and decided to visit him. Location was easy to find. The clinic is very clean and the staff were friendly. I needed my upper wisdom tooth pulled out which got me very nervous. Dr. Anthony was very kind and made sure I knew each step that he was doing. During the extraction process, he was checking to see if I was doing alright every few minutes. Overall, it took about 10-15 for each side. I really appreciate Dr. Anthony for being great at his job, making me feel comfortable and overall making my experience at the dentist so much better. 10/10 would recommend to everyone! read more

I know everyone hates going to the dentist, but Dr. Yu will make sure it is safe to come back! My friend recommended me to Dr. Yu and I commute all the way from Pasadena just to go to here(40+ miles away). Dr Yu is very knowledgeable and really takes his time to educate you well on your situation and the procedure he is about to perform. He also does a great job on checking in on you every so often during procedures, as many doctors can easily forget to do so. I like how he prepares you in advance whenever he knows something will make you feel slightly uncomfortable/painful before diving into it. I found this really helpful so I can mentally prepare myself so I don't make any sudden movements in the chair. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. They are very attentative and polite as they made sure I was well prepared and comfortable before Dr Yu arrives. Dr Yu is my go to dentist and I highly recommend him to everyone. read more

Man, am I glad I visited this place. I like to visit new businesses because I like to think they will provide better treatment/care (especially restaurants). So when it was time for me to ditch my previous dentist as I felt he wasn't very trustworthy, I made an appointment here to see Dr. Yu. To begin, the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. There's a minifridge with beverages in the waiting area, which is a nice touch. The office is very clean and new, and there's a TV in the procedure room and I also liked that. Now, I had a ton of cavities on both sides as I procrastinated in going to the Dentist like we all do. Dr. Yu filled all the cavities on one side (total of 5) and I thought it went by so fast. The key thing to note here is that, he was always checking on me to see how I was doing. It's hard to find a dentist you can trust, which is why I left my previous dentist (I'm a vibe guy and he gave me untrustworthy vibes). Dr. Anthony Yu is hands down the best dentist I have ever had. I've actually did not go to a dentist for nearly six years because my last experience (military dentist) was so terrible but decided to give it another go. Dr. Anthony Yu is very knowledgeable which put me completely at ease (he also graduated from UCLA Dental made me feel better as well lol). After reviewing my x-rays he observed my wisdom teeth needed to be removed. The procedure went incredibly smooth and painless (unlike my last experience in the military). This experience has definitely changed my perception of dentist and I now goto him twice a year. Another added plus is that his staff is awesome. I wasn't sure if the issue was that bad since I didn't have any symptoms. I decided to look for a second opinion and was referred to Dr. Yu. He is very attentive and pays attention to detail which is exactly what you want from someone inspecting your teeth!! Called Dr. Yu's office to make an appointment unfortunately had a horrible toothache and have a phobia when it comes to seeing the dentist. He was able to accommodate me within the hour and when I arrived I was greeted by him and his staff and from start to finish he acknowledged my concerns and kept me informed of my treatment options. Called to set up an appointment. I then followed up since no one had reached out to confirm and realized they had been speaking with my emergency contact the whole time. I lady by the name of Beverly picked up and as I was asking to confirm my appointment she became really passive aggressive when I let her know they had been speaking to my emergency contact and not me. She kept talking over me and being patronizing. I asked her if she was having a bad day or if this is how she talked to everyone she then replied with I'm sorry you feel that way, essentially telling me to screw off. I then asked whether my appointment was confirmed or not and she stated "last I checked yeah". Dr Charlene is so sweet! I'm happy I found her. I've neglected myself for a VERY long time and she has been very genuinely kind about the condition of my mouth. She was very nice about my 5 yr old being with me at my first visit as well, and even let him help her with "mr thirsty".. he was so happy with himself and now wants to be a dentist lol I came back for a deep cleaning in my gums. I was suppose to do half my mouth at one appt and the other half a week later however I had zero numbing products and asked if she was able to just finish it all in one session while I was there and she was happy to do it for me! She's really good with her hands, I wasn't in any pain at all despite her really getting in there. Maybe my high pain tolerance? Maybe she's just really that good. Or maybe, definitely, both. I want to say I highly recommend going here, but I enjoy being able to come in and there be just about zero wait time. :) my only regret is that I didn't do before and after pictures.. my teeth/mouth feel amazing!
