Nothing irks me more than a wrong order. I subbed out fries for Mac n cheese, still got fries and no mac & cheese. Pretty simple substitution. Outside of that, the space caters to men more than all adults. Women can dine there, but it's not as inviting for feminine energy. The salmon dinner was very good, I can at least say that. read more

Formal Complaint - Service Failure and Unacceptable Physical Removal at Twin Peaks I am writing to formally report a highly concerning experience at one of your locations that reflects serious issues with both service standards and customer handling. Upon arrival, we waited approximately 20 minutes to be seated. After being seated, we waited an additional 7 minutes without any server acknowledgment. I returned to the host stand to request assistance and was told someone would check on our server assignment. After waiting another 5 minutes with no follow-up, I returned again and requested to speak with a manager. At that point, we had been waiting approximately 35 minutes total without receiving any service. When the manager arrived, I calmly explained that we would be leaving due to the lack of service and expressed that the experience was unacceptable. While attempting to ask for her name, a security staff member approached me from behind, physically grabbed me, and forcefully removed me from the restaurant. At no point did I act aggressively or physically threaten anyone. I was clearly frustrated, but remained verbal only. Being physically handled and removed under those circumstances was entirely unwarranted and unacceptable. This raises serious concerns regarding: * Failure of basic service standards * Lack of management intervention in resolving guest issues * Use of physical force by security without justification I believe this situation warrants immediate review. The actions of your staff--particularly the security personnel--were inappropriate and potentially expose your company to liability. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and reviewed promptly. I would appreciate a response outlining what actions will be taken to address this incident. This incident happened on 4/26 at approximately 8:15pm. read more

First of all I would not say this a restaurant. Beer juggernaut is a better name. I tried to tell the waitress that she did NOT place order for the other person at the table. She said she asked him if he was done ordering after he ordered a drink and he took it that he was done ordering a drink and so he said he'll drink this and let her know but how no matter what happened how do you leave a table in order one person food when there's two people there. When I tried to tell her that everybody had a table is gonna want something to eat. That's what we came in here for together. She made up excuse after excuse after excuse excuse excuse then she went and got her manager and then he comes and fusses at us because we were trying to tell her to order for everybody at a table so she wouldn't make that mistake again and maybe she would make some tips, but they turned it around on us. I thought it was awful. And the food wasn't that good the salmon it was not tasty at all. Just a little sweet honey sauce on top. I ordered green beans and I got a plate of mess that I don't know what it was but it wasn't just green beans like in the picture. We ordered nachos as an appetizer and they said "warm nachos with all these sauces" and the chips were so cold. They tasted like cold grease. If she's picking up food for somebody, why don't she make sure it's right before she comes out and put it on someone's table so this is a no-no thumbs down unless you drink a lot of beer and taste that matter to you and you like to be talked to like you shit after you spend almost $100 for what? read more

Let me preface this with, if there are open seats available elsewhere, why am I being seated next to the bathroom or the kitchen? The hostess seemed taken a back by me telling her I didn't want to sit next to the kitchen or the bathroom and I'd wait for another table, however we didn't have to wait because there was plenty of seating available elsewhere. We got seated and pull your phones out cause QR codes is the way to see the menu. When I asked the waitress about an actual menu, she told me there were outdated, so it wasn't even an option. However they have these paper menus with daily specials on them - but I'm not here to make sense of things. The waitress came to take our order and I got a lunch special and told her I didn't want soup, however you would have thought she was getting a bonus the way she kept trying to push the soup on me. I finally had to look her in the face and say "I absolutely do not want soup, please tell me my other options" as the menu just said soup/salad. Now realistically I feel like you are coming for the atmosphere more than anything else. My cup sat at the edge waiting to be refilled as she never came back over to check on us. I had to flag her down to get request boxes and the check and I was a little upset that she took a plate before asking if we were finished. Yes, I knew where I was going before I walked in and knew the expectations however I didn't realize poor customer service was to be had. One night at Twin Peaks, what should have been a normal outing turned into a chaotic and frustrating situation. A fight broke out involving my sisters and another group. The situation escalated quickly, and it became clear that things could get out of control. What made the situation worse was the lack of action from the manager. Despite everything happening, the manager did not step in to stop the fight or properly handle the situation. There was no immediate effort to de-escalate the conflict or ensure everyone's safety. As tensions rose, it felt like we were left to deal with the situation on our own. When I saw my sisters being attacked, I reacted by stepping in to defend them and break up the fight. My goal was not to cause more trouble, but to protect my family and stop things from getting worse. In that moment, I felt it was necessary to act because no one else was stepping in to help. After everything happened, the response from authorities added to the frustration. Police officers drove past me and my sisters without stopping, even though we had just been involved in an incident where they were attacked. This made it feel like our side of the situation was ignored and not taken seriously. Instead of being recognized for trying to help and protect my family, I was trespassed from the restaurant. Being told to leave and not return felt unfair, especially considering the circumstances. I was not the one who started the fight, yet I still faced consequences. This experience taught me how quickly situations can be misunderstood. Even when you are trying to do the right thing, others may not see it that way. It also showed me that relying on others to step in--whether it's staff or authorities--does not always happen the way you expect. Looking back, I still believe I did what I thought was right in the moment by protecting my sisters. However, this situation showed me the importance of staying aware of how actions can be perceived and how quickly control can be lost in public conflicts. read more

I'm coming on here to make this review as a reminder to ALWAYS ask for your receipts and check the items you ordered! I can't imagine how many people this server has done this to that were maybe in a rush or maybe had too much to drink and didn't realize that she tips herself on customers cards. My family and I visited the Grand Prairie location on February 28 and had the worst experience I have ever encountered at any restaurant. Our server came by and took only a few of our drink orders, completely disregarded some of our other family members. It took her forever to come around and when we got up to ask the host if she could send her our way she approached the table with attitude and smart remarks. I had a total of 3 drinks from 9:30pm- 1 am because it was impossible to get her attention. We could see our drinks just sitting at the bar and all the other servers were taking their own drinks to their own tables. Our server was no where to be seen. When we tried to pay out she took the cards and never handed us the receipts to finalize the tip and total so we asked for them and she replied with attitude saying she already printed them and she just has to go grab them.. but then avoided our table for over 20 minutes so I started to feel uneasy and my boyfriend asked the manager for our receipts. Brandon was the GM and he told us that he would have them reprinted and she'll take them to our table. After another 15-20 minutes of waiting for our receipts I then again followed up with Brandon and he then informed us that he had already printed them and she should've already gave them to us and I told him that she hadn't been back to our table since she first ran our cards. He apologized and reprinted the receipts for our entire table and come to find out she tipped herself $20 dollars on our tab that was $91. My cousin only got a cob salad and she tipped herself almost $30 on his $20 tab! We were all pretty upset after this and the server we had noticed that our table was talking to the manager and still proceeded to be disrespectful to us in front of everyone after she STOLE money from us trying to over tip herself on multiple transactions from our table. read more

I came through on a weekday during the lunch rush, and almost all the parking spots were full, but I managed to find one within the vicinity in the shopping area surrounding this fine location. As I walked into the restaurant, it was packed with guests, and even the bar was full, but there was one vacancy stool left, so I took a seat as soon as I got the chance. As I sat down, the bartender quickly came to me with a warm greeting and smile and took my drink order. They have various drinks on tap, ranging from imported beers as well as local. I went ahead and ordered a large Karbach IPA, and within seconds, the frosty mug filled with beer laid beneath my eyes. They advertise that they keep the beer at 29 degrees, and I definitely believe it due to the frostyness of the glass with the nice slush of beer inside which made it very easy and smooth to drink. I went ahead and ordered the lunch special of the turkey avocado smash sandwich with sweet potato fries. The restaurant offers great happy hour specials throughout the week during lunch as well as night. They even have drink specials throughout the week for certain beverages, such as their signature Twin Peaks beer they brew in house located in Irving, TX. Within a short time, my food came to me, and I must say it was looking scrumptious! It was beautifully plated and presented with the sandwich cut in half with a side of sweet potato fries and ketchup. The bread was perfectly toasted with layers of thinly sliced deli turkey and a slice of cheese with juicy red sweet tomato slices and crisp green lettuce. The sandwich was everything I imagined it would be, and maybe a tad bit better! The fries were well seasoned and tasted good, but they were on the limp side. Overall, I had an amazing experience dining here, and I'll definitely be back to catch up on some more happy hour specials and try something new from the food menu. Very poor service. It seemed like the staff had little interest in attending to families. The service felt inconsistent, and overall the environment was not welcoming. I only visited to accompany my family, but I will avoid returning. The food was average, and the service was disappointing. I had to get up several times to get my own drinks, and my grandson's meal was the last to arrive. No apology or acknowledgment was given. Coming to visit Texas from Seattle with some family members, I was very impressed with the service from our waitress at my first Twin Peaks experience. Nianne was excellent with menu advice, auto drink refills (THANK YOU! I don't know the last time I didn't have to ask!), and circulating the table. She was very quick to accommodate our requests and clean up finished plates from the table. Our table service was great, but I will mention that the hostess did not welcome us in, give a smile, point out the small QR code on the table for the menu, or say a word to us. Although or initial impression walking in was a little lackluster, we were very satisfied with the service from Nianne and the food quality! My brother and I went out for a dinner after I got off work, which was rather late. So it was 10 o'clock by the time we got to Twin Peaks, which he really wanted to go to because he wanted a beer and they have a huge selection. I got a sangria which was delicious, and an iced tea and he had several beers. We shared the Thai ribs, which were so tasty delicious spicy amazing. And then he got the six naked wings with a dipping sauce and a garden salad and I got the avocado burger and fries. They forgot the avocado, but I did get it as soon as I had them pointed that out and it was very delicious. They were very quick to fix it. Our server was amazing and very helpful and she kept checking in on us all the time. It was course very crowded cause it's a Friday night and everybody was out. And the place was hopping. I was at a birthday party with my family, and wanted to have a place to eat, as well as watch the game. I noticed Twin Peaks out of the corner of my eye, and suggested it, to my surprise my wife approved my dining selection. This place was packed, wall-to-wall people. We were seated very fast, like within one minute of entering the building. The waitress was at our table within two minutes. We ordered our food and watched the game and had a great time. To be honest, I'm used to the waitress, coming around a bit more, being a bit more flirtatious and fun, my son would've got a kick out of that , but my wife and daughter were there, so I'm sure that played into why the visits were less frequent. Watching my son try his hardest to look cool while eating was hilarious!!!! Overall, it was a great experience, and the food was delicious. We ordered too much food, but I enjoyed watching the game with my family and having my food served to me quickly. My wife helped me with the drive, so I was able to have a tall beer as well . Twin Peaks in Grand Prairie consistently delivers great food. Today marked our third visit, and we were served by a young waitress who mentioned it was only her second day on the job. Despite being new, she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Once again, the food did not disappoint--everything was delicious. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli, and I highly recommend this dish. My son had the Birria tacos, which he really enjoyed. The sauce had bold flavor, a little strong, but still complemented the tacos well. My husband went with the Texas Philly cheesesteak, another must-try item. We visited in the early afternoon, after the lunch rush, so the atmosphere was relaxed and not too busy. The staff uniforms (shorts and cropped tops) were tasteful enough that I felt comfortable bringing my son along without issue. Overall, Twin Peaks continues to impress us with both food and service. I I have been to this particular Twin Peaks a couple of times since it is near where I live. It is always busy. The system is very good. From customer service to the presentation of the food. I usually sit at the bar. Laura is one of the bartenders. She is very exceptional, very professional, she's also very attentive to all customers. This is a great atmosphere. Especially if you like sports. Which I do. I am also a Health Inspector licensed and registered with the State of Texas. I can see that the codes and ordinances are being enforced. You get everything you want and more from this place especially during the happy hour. Reasonable prices, good food, chill ambiance. It's a laid back, casual experience with nice and attentive servers that aren't even the best part of the experience at this breastaurant. The beer selection is unique mixed with the food are worth enjoying with good friend. With TVs everywhere, you can always catch a game. This was our first visit to Twin Peaks but will not be the last. Brooklyn was our bartender/waitress and she was just amazing. Super friendly and so much fun to chat with. The food was really good, smoked chicken quesadilla was lightly spicy and so flavorful. The fish tacos are grilled cod with a slaw and this was my favorite. The roasted salsa was a favorite but the habanero sauce was also great. There are lots of beers and alcohol to choose from. The atmosphere is friendly and casual. My partner and I visited this location for the first time on a Monday. It was super packed and alive with good music. We ordered queso, pot roast dinner, pepperoni flatbread, and boneless wings. The queso was flavorful, the pot roast needed salt/pepper but definitely a good dish, the pizza ranked best of all, and the wings were hearty! One of our wings had a pickle fried into it which was a surprise! Overall along with the service, we had a good experience. We will be back for sure. read more
