They have food, and the food is back to how it used to be, not only edible but actually enjoyable. I've been coming here for over 25 years and eating here. I always looked forward to the food. Today, not so much. I ordered Children's fish and chips to go. I couldn't find the Cole slaw as it was buried under a sheet wrap to separate from box, which I didn't expect. The fries were lukewarm, not crisp and had no real flavor. The cole slaw was pasty and I didn't like the taste. It's a good thing I had a fork in my car otherwise I would have to eat the fried fish with my fingers. After a long day of driving for my girlfriend, we settled in RI for night and looked for a place to eat. I found the Paella on the menu and I needed to try that. Seafood paella in RI, it has to be good, right, well it was. The espresso martini I had was not my favorite. The side order of Brussel sprouts does not say it has bacon on them. This was disappointing for my girlfriend who has Alpha Gal and cannot eat red meat or pork. While she couldn't eat them I went ahead and did and they were good. Service was great. No issues there. This restaurant is definitely not 3 stars at all. I have been coming to this restaurant most summers since I was a kid. I definitely think the food quality improved. The New England Clam Chowder they make is hands down my favorite no doubt!! You MUST try the clam chowder if you go here. The calamari is delicious however it's a small portion for only 3 people at most. The inside of the restaurant is a sports bar theme and the outdoor patio is really nice with some cornhole games as well. The service is pretty good, it seems like the servers also help out with other duties so they might not be that attentive all the time. Prices are on the higher side. Overall this is one of my favorite stops in Narragansett for dinner because you can drive right down the road to Brickeleys for dessert as well! Overall this should be probably 4 stars on yelp! Chose to eat outside on the deck as it was a beautiful day. Within a few minutes someone was there to take our drink order. Returned and took our food order and it may have been 10 minutes and our food was ready (it was around 3pm). I had the fish and chips and as other reviewers have said it was better than excellent. Perfectly cooked, crunchy outside, soft and moist inside. Very generous portions of fish and fries. The tartar sauce was a bit different and I chose not to use it but it was not missed. Our waitress was very attentive. Will go out of my way to eat here again and would love to try other things on the menu but the fish and chips was so good, I'm not sure I would! We've just gotten home, and I felt inclined to post this. This restaurant deserves to be recognized for its excellence. It is nice to promote the positivity of any great restaurant when so many people do the opposite. I am usually a tough critic when it comes to restaurants. I used to run one. I 100% understand that it's Labor Day weekend and the whole general area is extremely busy. I came away impressed with the service as well as the outstanding food quality there yesterday, specifically on Sunday before Labor Day. I couldn't believe how busy it was, and even more so, how the service handedly kept up with it. We sat at the bar to get a drink while waiting for our table. I am thinking to myself they are way too busy to get to us and then, much to my pleasant surprise, a young gentleman came over to greet us. I was in awe of how friendly and accommodating he was, especially in the face of adversity. He was still smiling, friendly with customers, and able to casually converse with them at the same time. I believe that multi-tasking is the most challenging aspect of the restaurant business, and doing it in the face of adversity during a hectic time was truly impressive. We felt at ease in a busy environment. We decided to forgo the reservation and sit at the bar. We figured, why wait for a table when we can sit right away and eat? I have been to enough restaurants to know that I am unlikely to receive better service, even if the server is in a slow section. When I visit restaurants near my hometown, the servers and bartenders are most likely on their phones and neglecting their duty of service. Everything we ate there was amazing. It was clear that the Chef was excellent and certainly knew what he was doing; describing him as outstanding would be selling him short. The seafood was extremely fresh. That is not always the case at places we have visited in our habitual summer stays in the Narragansett area. We always stop at the Twin Willows. It has always been one of the main places we go while we are here for the Summer. We would have gone habitually anyway, but after this delightful experience, we will become summer regulars, opting for other places with the same subpar results. When you find a place with exceptional food and service, why risk deviating from that? I won't curse but forget the other Narragansett restaurants. Twin Willows is the best one and it is not even close. I love it and most importantly, my family loves it from my wife to my three children. I cannot fathom that there is anywhere I can bring them that makes them nearly as happy as I am when I am chowing that Billburger. How it gets better than that is a mystery Sherlock Holmes could not solve. Needless to say, I VERY MUCH highly recommend this restaurant. read more

The decor could use an update. Staff was friendly but was slow with service. Our server forgot one of our friends entree and was honest about it. She took it off the tab. I order the calamari app for the table & a burger for myself. Burger was mediocre and calamari was horrible. The buns of the burger were too greasy. The calamari was soggy and also bland. Nothing memorable about both. My boyfriend ordered the buffalo wings w/ fries and enjoyed it. On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, we drove to Twin Willows in Narragansett, RI for a bite to eat. Normally we make reservations, but a change of plans had us winging it at Twin Willows. Fortunately, we were seated right away at a requested outdoor patio table. The staff was friendly and energetic and helpful in narrowing down our menu selection by answering questions and provide guidance. We first opted for the cajun salmon burger and selected the sweet potato fries for a $3 up charge over regular fries and instead of mixed greens. I did order the mixed greens as a side salad. While the salmon burger was delicious with nicely sliced avocado on a softer kaiser roll and the sweet potato fries were crispy and a healthy service size, the side salad was disappointing; very small, warm, and the raspberry vinaigrette dressing looked more like a gel than a liquid. The open faced caprese was a huge portion of tomatoes served over prosciutto covered tuscan bread with burrata cheese, EVOO and balsamic drizzle. A choice of salad or fries was also an option and for an additional $3 opted for the sweet potato fries, too. Two really good meal choices that left us both full and satisfied. Prices were very reasonable and the food quality better than expected for a restaurant and sports bar type atmosphere. Twin Willows is recommended when in the area. read more
