Do not go to this nail shop. I literally walked out about 5 minutes into my pedicure. They filled the tub and the water was ice cold. I told the person it was cold and they just said it will warm up. By the time it warmed up 90 percent had been fooled with cold water. As I'm sitting with my feet in lukewarm water the person comes over yanks both my feet out of the water and starts filing my gel polish off with a manual nail file. Most places work on one foot at a time while your other foot soaks. Every other salon either uses the electric nail tool or polish remover and foil. At this point I hadn't even seen a menu. I asked for one and was brought one. She then begins filing again and scrapes my toe skin enough that I yelled out. At that point I said I'm leaving asked for a towel put my feet and put my shoes back on and walked out. Definitely don't recommend this nail salon. read more

After dropping my son off at Kumon nearby I decided to finally get a pedicure with old white gel painted removed. I had 1 hr to take advantage. Helen took me in as a walk in about 5 pm on a Monday. She was very thorough and kind. She carefully removed the old gel from my nails without thinning them out like the other shop I go to. I feel like I got more service for the same price than my regular shop. It definitely smelled better than the chemical smell at the other shop. I will definitely come back here again! Loved it. Even with an appointment I still has to wait almost 20 minutes which I feel defeats the purpose of an appointment. How we've the pedicure was good, the only other issue is they don't alway cut your nails straight which is a little annoying. If your looking for a decent pedicure that won't break the bank then this is your spot. read more

I have been coming here some time but it has really started to go down hill , it's been very hot and stuffy and has been that way the last few months so definitely is not where you want to be in the heat of summer . I did a walk in as I typically do for gel pedicure and manicure , they started my pedicure no problem and then when done with 60 dollar service asked if I had an appointment which I did not .... Then they said can you come back for your manicure later because the customers that just walked in have appointments ...... well then you should not of taken me in at the time you did , told me up front you could only do pedicure or make me an appointment. Ridiculous Also their prices seem to be much more than new salons that are opening and advertising and they never charged me to remove gel just the extra 15 dollars for gel until three month ago they added 10 to just remove your gel even if you got the prior service done with them . read more

I am disappointed. I got my nails done for my birthday. They were cute but there were bubbles underneath the nail polish which I never had seen before. Since it was my birthday I had plans and celebrated my day before going back to the salon. I was happy they were willing to repaint for free (it was the right thing to do...every nail had the weird bubble thing) However, a couple days after that a nail broke. I am not huge with my hands and was just changing my cats litter box. So in a weeks time I had to go bak for a repaint and then had a nail break. I'm just not impressed. I've been coming here since it opened. it's right next to the gym so I can walk from there. At first I had technicians that were friendly, helpful and professional even though there's a language barrier which is not a problem for me. it was fantastic. I think that I tipped them well. (10-15$) For the past two years it has declined to mediocrity for me. Nails chip (fill ins), polish chips, it bubbles, peels, I can never get what I want for some odd reason, even if I bring my own stickers or show pictures. (simple designs too) I am a loyal customer but after one week the polish bubbled and came off. Its all about speed not quality in my experience. read more

I've been here twice already and I must say, my nails definitely look very nice afterwards! They're located in the plaza on Elmira that's near the Bank of America, In-Shape, Starbucks, etc. Both of the times that I went, I didn't end up making an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome so I didn't have to wait very long to be seated. The first time I went, I got a regular pedicure ($25). They did try to talk me into getting the more expensive ones since they do offer quite a few different pedicure packages (including vegan ones!), but I don't wear a lot of open-toed shoes anyway because of work, so just a regular pedicure was fine with me. The salon is fairly new, so they have a wide selection of regular and gel nail polishes to choose from. I went with a black OPI color and it turned out great! The best part about their pedicures is definitely the fancy massage chairs with a ton of different options for your neck, shoulders, back, and even arms. I could sit there all day if they let me.. This past weekend I went again for a gel manicure ($30) and a regular pedicure ($25). My sister also got some fancy gel acrylics ($45) and they definitely took their time and pay great attention to detail. I appreciate that they're very careful and you don't feel like you're being rushed out the door, even if you come on a busy day. With that in mind, I probably wouldn't come here if I was in a rush since they do spend a lot of time on manis and pedis, but heck, if I'm getting a mani/pedi, I'm there to relax, so I want them to take their time haha. read more

Second time coming here and WOW I haven't been more impressed with a gel manicure! Very clean facility, arrived when they open, never felt rushed. Definitely keep an eye out for coupons in the Vacaville newsletter as this place can be pricey. Another plus, when they give a wait time, they're pretty good at sticking to it. One lady came in and they told her 15 Mins and sure enough, the owner checked in and another manicurist helped get her in the spa chair. So far they seem like a stand up spa and nail place. Horrible first experience. You're supposed to treat yourself with getting nails done. My skin was filed, I was burned & cut. I should've walked out when a customer came back complaining of her nails. They charge $15 just to use gel polish & charge an extra $10 to remove polish, but yet all 10 fingertips have my old color on them. Pedicure is almost $60 for a basic. My regular shop unfortunately was closed today & had to try here. They charge a ridiculous amount for not even nice nails. I pay $90 for gel nails/toes at my regular spot & don't get tortured in the process. This place is a rip off with all the extra charges. She painted over debris, didn't paint the sides or tips, & the shaping is horrible. read more

asymmetrical french tips with gold foil done by judy! i had no reference photo i just told judy what i wanted and she executed perfectly! the salon itself was very clean and very nice and had a really warm and welcoming/friendly atmosphere to it as well as the staff and customers; as far as covid they took very important precautions and had a strict(but necessary) mandate on masks. they were very fast and efficient and were well organized/prepared when it came to walk-ins. Im usually very meticulous with my nails especially when it comes to shape, sharp lines and little details like the gold foil but Judy was very sweet and communicative when it came to my service which was really nice because as meticulous as i am im also too shy to ask haha. long story short very pleased, very happy and eager to come back:) read more

I love this nail salon. Every time I come here they do a great job on my nails. But today I came in for an 11:30am appointment and I had a different employee do my nails, which is fine because they are all talented but she really rushed through my appointment. Trying to get a regular of hers in her chair smh. She cut my nails and I didn't ask her too and they were all uneven and when I asked her to fix them she did a mediocre job and had me wash my nails and another lady finished my gel color. The previous nail tech lost my gel color so I had to pick a new one because I didn't want to hold up the other customers, that was annoying. I had to ask the other lady to reshape them so they matched and it still wasn't what I came in for but nothing could be done at that point and I don't have time to get a whole new set. For me getting my nails done is my treat to myself and a time for me to relax and I just left irritated because I didn't want to make a scene. Putting the ridiculous cash scam aside, they also have no idea how to manage appointments or volume and their staffing model is a failure. They take appointments, but they don't KEEP appointments and that's really the important part--the keeping of the appointment (any Seinfeld fans?). You show up and get in a random line with everyone else. Everyone is told "15 minutes wait" but that always means an hour wait. They sat me and my wife in a massage chair and I was 100% complete before they even started on her. Now I have to wait around another hour? These cheap tactics that attempt to guilt the customer into paying cash are nothing more than a ploy to keep cash off the books and avoid paying their taxes. The same thing goes on at barbershops. Luckily there are avenues of consumer protection through the Better Business Bureau and the IRS. #BBB #IRS Yeah, I'm a guy--and I enjoy a good mani-pedi experience once in a while to get polished up. Since this is a couple's experience, they have lost two customers over petty and deceitful business practices. I predict the trend to continue not in their favor. read more

It was okay, I think for gel manicures I probably wouldn't come in here. When they did the acrylic fill on the other customer, it was on point, my seemed kind of rushed and the nail tech didn't know what he was doing because he was struggling to put the polish on my nails. (Maybe it's my nails, I'm not discounting that it might have been a factor) Overall, it was meh. Could be better though. I was really disappointed in the service I did not receive yesterday, 3/18/19. I had a pedicure on Sunday, and made an appointment for Monday for a fill on my nails. The girl wrote my name down for 6:00 PM. I was at the salon before 6 PM And was barely knowledged when I walked in. From what I saw, everyone was in the middle of doing nails. While I was sitting there waiting, when the girls went over my head to pull the curtains closed. No "excuse me "or anything. At 6:25 I got up to leave and the girl started saying, stay 5 minutes. I walked out and won't be back. There are plenty of nail salons in Vacaville and if your time is valuable to you, I wouldn't go there. I star because I had to put one in to post a review. read more
