If your kid is ok with something like this - "We are going to get you a special bear, and you can choose 1 outfit and 1 accessory," you could get out of the store for less than $50, especially if your child chooses a bear on sale or less expensive bear. (Some are as low as $15, but go up to $40.) Also remember, you are not just buying the bear, but paying for the experience, and it can be fun! After visiting the location near me for my older daughter's birthday, my younger daughter wanted to go also for her birthday (of course) while we were in Georgia for the holidays. The staff is ready to help and really try to make it special for the recipient. It's pleasant enough, but the modest distance is irritating, particularly in light of the longer greenway trail just north of here on the same creek. It would be much better if the park linked up with the larger trail system, but for some reason it does not, meaning the park is limited in scope.

The wildlife is abundant here also - I've seen deer, turtles, and various birds here. I haven't seen a nope rope yet, but I'm sure I just jinxed myself because I hate snakes and saying stuff like that seems to speak it into existence. Since it is a small park, it can be a little busy when the weather is really nice. The trail around the park is perfect to use for 5k training. Drop on in when you need a brief commune with nature!
