Holy cow, the food here is amazing. I was in the area and checked out Yelp to see what was around and took a chance on this place. Tried them out for the first time last week and WOW am I glad that I did. My girlfriend and I are addicted to their food! We've already gone back twice because we just can't stay away! The chicken is perfectly cooked, their sandwiches and other entrees are all large and delicious, but the most impressive part is how incredibly flavorful all of their sides are! I've been back 4 times now and they've only been open a little over two weeks! The Fried Chicken Sandwich is perfection. Amazing breading on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. If you don't like spicy food, ask them to leave the aioli off or on the side, but I think it completes it. The brown sugar yams are sort of like sweet potato fries. They are tender and seasoned well and are a delicious alternative to fries. They have a well featured kids menu as well, which makes eating there that much easier. The best part is that they are open late enough for dinner, whether that be picking up a full meal, or just getting a rotisserie bird to complete the sides you had at home. This is all before getting to the fact that the folks working the cart are nice as can be an obviously take tremendous pride in what they are serving up. I heard a lot of great things about this food truck. So, I stopped by last night with some friends to try the place out. OMG! I got the veggie bowl with chicken. It was fabulous. The fried chicken strips were crunchy and juicy. The veggies and rice were cooked perfect. The veggies still had some crispness to them. Just how I like them. The spicy aioli sauce zipped it up. Not too spicy, perfect! And I got one of their cookies, a salted chocolate and butterscotch chip cookie. As big as my head! And out of this world! I stole some of my friends green beans. But for me, the star was the teriyaki green beans--perfectly charred and so so good! The fact that their drinks were only $1 was very cool. Good quality food and great service! I give the 3 star review cause I don't like the aïoli sauce used on everything. The same sauce is used on the BLT and the burger and it's overwhelming and somewhat drowns out the other great flavors you got going on there. The menu should mention it's a spicy aïoli sauce as well. I dislike spicy anything so that sauce overpowered any other flavor and in my opinion ruined a perfectly made BLT. I think just asking your customers what they want on their burger or BLT and telling them the house sauce is spicy would be great. Also not burned would be cool too. read more
