nice place. the drinks are creative, and sugar is adjustable which is always good (25%, 50%, 75%)! there are a few tables inside along with a countertop seating area. prices are very reasonable, and the staff were really nice.

This is a cute little place that I stopped by whenever my mom gets her hair perm. The fries are so delish here. My daughter and I loved the seasoned fries. We usually get bbq and sour cream & chives. It's perfectly cooked fries and well seasoned. This time I also ordered Cane Solo and Milky Way. Cane Solo was too sweet and tastes a little artificial. My mom said the boba in the Milky Way was too hard. I guess I just stick to the seasoned fries.

I used to come here solely for their potato twist sticks because it is a snack you can't find anywhere else. Their drink menu is big and very unique (drink styles that you will most certainly not find anywhere else). I will say their drinks are pretty expensive but it is unique and they include a variety of toppings and flavors per drink. It seemed that there was only one person working the entire place so it took a while to get our drink. In addition, my mom ordered the cane-gerine with no crystal boba and it says it on the sticker too, but the barista ended up putting it in either the way. We weren't too upset about it seeing how it was just him working alone. The place is kind of tiny so there isn't much seating. I would come back for their unique drink menu but definitely for their snacks, just disappointed it's so expensive!

I was pleasantly surprised by the tea menu at Twisteas. It's a small boba shop with an extensive menu that includes boba, sugar cane juice, and milk tea. I ordered the sugar cane drink hoping that it the same as a sugar cane juice I would get at Vietnamese vendors. However, I was pretty disappointed with the flavors. It's bland and not as sweet. I'm not sure if the drink was diluted down. The milk tea was flavorful, not too overwhelmingly sweet.

Very easy parking as the plaza is not too busy. Interior is nice and clean. If there's nobody in the front, just click the little bell to let them know you're ready to order. I tried the can(e)nergy and hazelnut milk tea. They were good and refreshing.

Ordered plain ol' milk tea, and it's consistent with it's namesake. Give a little bit time to your tea, don't drink it immediately because the boba is warm. If you hit it straight from the bottom, it's taste like chinese warm dessert. Wait, maybe that's the concept? Keeping it with the namesake?

Do not order the popcorn chicken!!!!! it will leave you unsatisfied and disappointed for paying for fried little itty bitty pieces that consists of about 5 pieces and the rest is like fried dough. We should have really listened to that one review on here. Embarrassing to even serve it. We ordered to go and did realize until we got back to the office and realized we got scammed. Drink was whatever. Got coconut, sugar cane and grass jelly. Lacked flavor.

Still my favorite boba place in the SGV. Can't beat their taste, value, and service. They also do many fundraisers with local schools, so it's obvious they care about the community too. Love small businesses like this, you really see their heart and soul. Also, their decorations are adorable and seasonal. Only con is they're a small place, and if it's during peak hours (after school) forget about finding seating. But if you go during off peak hours with 3 people or less, you're fine. It's not far from me, but it's also not really in an area I go often. If it was, I'd visit more frequently. Definitely go support them, they're great.

My family LOVES this place. We have been going back time and time again because the drinks have not been disappointing. My favorite is the jasmine milk tea and the rose milk tea! My sister orders for me and we do either 25% or 50% sweet and it's so perfect because you can really taste the tea flavor! We made the mistake of not adjusting the sweetness level one time and it was just way too sweet for us. We also order my dad the fruity drinks like last time we ordered a kiwi flavor one and he loved it as well! All the drinks here so far are VERY good and I would go to as far to say this is my one of my top favorite boba places near my house! I would highly recommend to my friends and would time and time come back again.

Thank god we saw their sign on the back of the building while we were heading down the road cuz we were actually on our way to a different boba place. Glad we stopped here! Gotta say to start it off, the dude that worked the counter was super friendly, energetic, and helpful with our orders. My friend got their sugar cane drink and I took a sip of it. Nice, natural sweetness and it went perfectly well with the lychee flavor and bits inside. I got the: 1) Tropical Extravaganza: -Super, super refreshing. -You taste both the peach and pineapple tea (pineapple was slightly stronger in my opinion, but I liked it !). -The longan and jackfruit bits are tasty toppings that other boba places don't really offer. Went great with the smooth, sweetness of the grass jelly. -I know, bad, but they used really crushed, soft ice and it absorbed the flavor of the tea and I loved munching on it... -Drink really made me want to go to a beach to be quite honest. 2) Large Twisted Fries (Spicy BBQ flavor): -Hands down better than Potato Corner LOL. -The size of their large had way more fries than Potato Corner's Mega size. -They also actually push down the paper into the cup, giving you a massive amount of fries (that also spilled out into the bag). -Definitely worth it. -The spicy BBQ wasn't spicy at all, but was still a pleasant treat to have. GET THE STAMP CARD FOR THIS PLACE. I'm already pre-planning what I'm gonna have here the next time I go because they have so many unique drinks and toppings and it's all so so good. I don't usually get fruit flavored drinks at boba places, opting more for milk tea options since not many other places offer much uniqueness in terms of what they offer, but not Twisteas. They got so, so many different drinks to try. Sucks that they don't have those tornado potatoes any more because the ghost pepper flavor sounded really pog, but I'd still cop the fries here. Yummy snack that's worth it ! Can't wait until the next time I come back !

There was one young man behind the counter and luckily the peeps before us were his friends. So they let us order first. My friend said this place is good for her family so I went to pickup something refreshing for da family. I got the large paradise which is a mixture of fruit flavors and finely chopped fruit bits. I for four of those and a matcha with pudding and a regular milk tea. They also have French fries so I picked up their bbq flavor which turned out okay. After I placed my order another two families came in to wait patiently for my order to get through. The place has some seats for waiting but it's not really a hangout spot. The strip mall is dead so plenty of parking. Probably best to place a phone order since they are understaffed.

I love this place! Just went for the first time and I wish I grabbed the name of the lady who helped me because she was fantastic (in case she can get a bonus or a $20 gift card, I visited at 2:15pm on 12/12/17). ANYWAY, she recommended their Hazelnut Milk Tea and she took the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and it is delicious! I wish I lived in the area because I'd certainly frequent this spot. Thank you! read more

one of my favorite go to boba places. the customer service is absolutely wonderful. the workers are so nice and whenever you walk they greet you with a smile. music is always playing inside the store which i absolutely love. the food and drinks at twisteas are so good, it makes me want to buy them all lol (i don't obviously). my go to order is a summer elixir slushed with boba, which i 100% recommend. it's so fruity and the boba adds more sweetness, it just tastes so good. i also order the mozzarella sticks which i also highly recommend. whenever you bite into it you get this amazing cheesy goodness. when you bite into it the cheese stretches which looks so satisfying. at the end when you're waiting for your drink and they call out your number they always ask if there's anything else you need. i find that to be very good service because usually other places wouldn't ask such things. read more

Twisteas is a hidden gem with great vibes. Most of their drinks comes with fruits or some sort of extra surprise, which is nice given the price is reasonable too. I've actually came back a few times and loved the hospitality. Their twisted potato is something special LOVED LOVED their ghost pepper chili one taste just like Hot Cheetos! read more

I had the hazelnut tea and the flavor of the hazelnut came out really well. I also tried their tropical extravaganza and their pink salt cream black tea. The pink salt cream Black Tea is pretty strong. My everyday drink probably would be the tropical extravaganza. Lots of fruits and really refreshing! read more

Came back for a second try! This time we got the breezy lychee - half sugar. It was the perfect amount of sugar and customer service was superb. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!! Pretty good tea, checked in got 10% off. Very friendly staff, even got to try their crystal boba.. Not really a boba person, but it was delicious..if ur interested in tea with a twist this the place for u.. the price for the teas are reasonable too.. the staff actually explained the whole menu to us.. awesome experience and delicious tea. So far I have been here twice and each drink I've tried (including my bf's :p), have been awesome. I really like the strawberry vortex! I also really like the twisted potatoes snack. I tried it once at a fair, and now I'm so happy I found a place that offers it so close to home. I think this place is definitely going to be one of my go to places now. read more

This is not your average boba place. The teas here are unique and so so so good. I only got to try the lychee one, but the next time I visit, I definitely will be coming back to taste the other flavors. Employees are friendly and recommended drinks. The only down side is that my cup was 60% ice so I would recommend asking for light ice. read more

Love this underrated tea place! They have such great fruity drinks. Staff is friendly. I discovered this place on ubereats or postmates and realize it was closer to proximity to where I live, so I have been going there since. The place is clean and convenient to get to. It is located in a plaza by the freeway. There is a decent sized parking lot. I wouldn't say it's a boba and chill place as there are no tables but definitely great for order and go. There are chairs and a bench for sitting. read more

There's always time for tea!!! Twisteas, that is. Tucked away inside a corner plaza (next to pho restaurant), is my new favorite spot for amazing crafted iced teas!! This little gem is the perfect pit stop for tea lovers! My fave is the Breezy Lychee (which is their play on mojitos) w/ green tea, lime, lychee bits & mint leaves. Their teas are a harmonious blend of refreshing, delicious, unique, ingredients that compliment its aromatic freshness. Unlike most tea/boba spots, Twisteas doesn't load a ton of sugar in their drinks. They also have the best throwback 90's-2000 music video's playing on the big screen tv. This is mostly a grab & go type of place. Which is genius!! Great service, no lines/long wait & always parking available, makes this a no brainer! Bad. Ordered Milky Way Taro. The menu marked they use real taro. But the color is so purple which means it's not real taro and I didn't taste any taro flavor in it. Artificial flavor. read more

Came here on a Sunday night 30 min before closing. Everyone was really friendly and nice! I got the Tropical Extravaganza tea and I really liked it. The only thing I didn't like was that I think they add too much ice to their drinks.. but that can be easily fixed if you just let them know! read more

I love this place so much, I don't even go for the discounts. My Asian card has been revoked but I don't even care. I want this place to stay in business so that I can feed my addiction to their drinks. THAT'S how much I love this place. Customer service is top notch and drinks consistently delicious. I recommend the Milky Way Taro, Strawberry Vortex, and Jasmine green tea. Dammit, now I want some boba. read more

I'm so happy to find this new boba place. Ordered a Mango Tango and Everything's Peachy, and loved both drinks! Both were made with black tea base and fresh fruit bits. You can also customize ice and sugar levels to suit your taste. I got the 25% sweetness level and it was just right. The guy that made our drinks even let us take a sample before hand so that he can adjust the sweetness level to our taste. He also tastes all the drinks (in a different tasting cups of course) before serving to ensure quality drinks to the customers. So much dedication!!! Price is ~$4/drink and 10% off if you check in on yelp! Will definitely come back!! read more

2 stars because the drinks here are actually good. 0 for customer service. I was running errands around this area so I decided to drop by this place for the first time. Be prepared for a rude cashier named Shirley. There was a menu of drinks behind her I order my drinks then I ask her if there is popcorn chicken and fries and she says yes with an attitude. These items were not on the menu but to the menu on the side of us btw. She then asks me what flavor and I ask her what flavors do you have. She then points at the menu to the left of me (her right) and says blandly it's on the menu. Even with the disgusting attitude I am still keeping it together and being polite. A few minutes later I ask her if there is a bathroom. She points to the back. I'm waiting and waiting mind you I am 9 months pregnant. I come back to sit outside but staring at the bathroom to see if anyone comes out. Then I ask another worker.. is there a key to the bathroom and he says oh yes here. IS THIS SOME KIND OF JOKE? Why would she tell me there is a bathroom but not hand me a key. The audacity. Disgusting. Not sure if she's stupid as hell or playing a cruel trick because she works as a cashier. At this point I was so pissed I asked for her name and left. She looked guilty for sure. Who the hell does this to anyone let alone someone who is pregnant. Do not come here. read more

I'm a sucker for boba and supporting small businesses. It was a really hot day, so I decided to make a spot to this little gem that opened up 3 months ago. I figured that I get the usual boba milk tea, but upon reading the menu and talking to the worker the menu has a variety of boba milk teas drinks, "moquiteas" and "lemon-teas", and twistea concoctions. He was very helpful and kind. He also gave me a sample of my Hazelnut Milk Tea to make sure it was the right sweetness for me. The drink itself was great and refreshing and the boba is just right...soft and chewy. Thank you! Can't wait to try other drinks and snacks on the menu next time. read more

I bought 2 items to go. 1 tea and 1 French fries. The server on the phone asked me when will I pick it up. I told him that I leave less than a mile away, so how long does it take for them to make it. He said they'll ( kitchen people) making it right now. And yeah.. the fries was warm to cold not hot. Like.. I thought it would be fresh out of the oven or fry pan or something.-.- so minus 1 star. read more

Found this place on Yelp and will definitely be back again! My brother got a pineapple drink while I got the lychee one and they were both DELICIOUS! The owner was super helpful and friendly and even turned down the music when my newborn fell asleep. 2 thumbs waaayyy up! read more

i feel so bad for giving this place 2 stars because the workers were so lovely, but the drinks on the other hand..not so much. i had ordered the jasmine green tea, mango tango, milk tea, and thai tea. the jasmine green tea and the thai tea which was regular sweet was sooo bitter, i understand teas are supposed to have a hit of bitterness because of the tea but those were wayy too strong, i've been to many boba places and i've never had a drink that was this bitter. the milk tea also was really bitter to my liking, i had it 70% sweet and it was too bitter to the point where my teeth felt stale. lastly the mango tango, it was actually better than the rest of the drinks i've got. i got it 70% as well and it wasn't too bad. my advice is if you do come here maybe just get the flavored teas instead of the milk teas if you don't really like your drinks to be really bitter. read more

Always friendly, always consistent, and always great quality! They will make your drink to your liking and won't hesitate to tweak it for you if needed. Very quick service as well. Also like that their drinks already come with toppings! You can always add or take out any you don't like, but so far they've always been a hit for me. read more

Their menu is quite extensive, from teas, boba, coffee, fruit teas, they've got it all. For first timers, they have a signature section which I think is basically their most popular drinks, they're all recommended to try. My wife and I ordered the Oreo Matcha Brulee and the Uji Matcha Latte to share, both came out pretty quickly, around 5 minutes or so. I'm a huge sucker for oreo matcha brulee type drinks and this place made it perfectly. Each sip is full of the ingredients, very refreshing, and perfect sweetness in my opinion with 30% - 60% sugar level. Overall, great tea shop, it's pretty ironic to find a place that's just called "The Tea" which can be hard to search up, but their drinks are high quality, staff is quick, and their shop is clean. Oh, and there is no air con so it was uncomfortably stuffy in there and let us not even touch on the cleanliness...especially when there was more than one employee working--some could be cleaning. Everything was dirty. I hate to call all of this out but with a product that is almost $10 a drink--c'mon. I should have just walked out.

If you're into real tea, the kind backed by thousands upon thousands of years of tradition, and craft, this is it. This is the real. Varieties that Imen (the big boss at Tea Habitat) has personally procured directly, live, from the source throughout mainland China. She basically found the best stuff on her tasting ventures, making it a pretty exclusive menu of teas that you're highly unlikely going to find anywhere else in southern California, or perhaps all of California and the entire nation. You need this. You want this. You want to have it so bad, you want to relive the lingering euphoria of getting tea drunk - green tea, white tea, oolong... from royal grade to high mountain grade, harvested from centuries old trees. If some the tea names sound a bit nasty or unappetizing, it's to deter people from stealing it; hence, you may actually pleasantly surprised by its fragrance and quality. Super suggest setting an appointment for tasting, where the choice is pretty open from the list. The more expensive grade stuff though, will cost extra for a premium tasting set. And you'll be able to taste first hand, side-by-side, why certain dishware, especially the gold-lined cups, have an impact on how much flavor carries through. Quite profound. You can easily spend around 2 hours maximizing the steep of each set of tea leaves, while chatting it up with your bestest best mates. -Logistical notes: The location isn't that apparent, from the sidewalk, walk directly south towards the residential building, past the initial businesses on the side. Parking can go a bit dicey, but sometimes it's not too bad people sometimes are here to grab them and go, but there are a lot of other great business nearby so the parking can get tough.

After dinner with our family we decided to get some tea nearby. We wanted to try this place because our cousin recommended it. As we were deciding what to get I was concern that the kids may get sugar high and not go to sleep soon. As we began to order, Elmo started making suggestion based on my families conversation! It turns out he was listening when we were talking among ourselves. So that's bonus for the extra attention and service. Sugar level was adjusted and gave us a he even gave us samples of the drinks to help us decide. I don't know if this tea house can do this for everyone but it definitely helped me.
