Cute Mexican Cantina located on Old Stone Road in Niagara on the Lake. We stopped in for a late lunch and were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The menu offers your standard Mexican fare and several seafood options. Overall great service, lively interior, and flavorful food. Small bar area and patio in addtion to main table seating. Private parking lot. What we tried: *Guacamole *Pastor Tacos *Chicken and Beef Tostadas My rating rationale +1 Service +1 Food~Taste/flavor/quality +1 Presentation +1 Atmosphere/vibe +1 Value

Surprisingly decent Mexican cuisine! We walked in and got patio seating right away. Server was friendly! We ordered aguachile de rib eye (the rib eye was overly charred to the point it tasted burnt), Mexican seafood tower (fresh!), and Baja fish tacos. The tacos came in an order of 2 for $17 (pricey!!) but we added an additional one. Tortilla chips were complimentary and seemed fresh and authentic This is a good place to stop by if you are craving Mexican.

Really good food and margaritas. Very relaxed atmosphere. Prices were reasonable. Plenty of parking.

I have never seen such a big ceviche menu, plus a Mexican Seafood Tower which is basically a gigantic ceviche with house made guacamole and nachos.

After three wineries, my husband was definitely ready for some food. When you walk in, you definitely feel like you're entering an English pub! The bar, and place, ent of the bar was very traditional to pubs in the UK. Our server Lawerence definitely helped with his English accent! When asked where he was from, he said Bristol! He came to Canada after her sister relocated. He originally was a cook, but given his accent, they asked hi. To move to the front! Well done. He was a great server too! Very friendly! We decided to share the sausage rolls and shepherds pie. My husband had two Guinness! I'm not sure where he put it in top of the wine, but glad I was driving. The sausage rolls were very tasty. The mustard that came for dipping was the perfect accompaniment. The shepherd's pie had a dark Guinness gravy that was rich and flavorful. I enjoyed the side of peas and carrots too! Sharing these two was the perfect amount, however we wished we'd got the poutine! It looked amazing, it would've been too much food though. Guess we will need to return! PS: loved seeing the sign for Upper Canada Brewing company! In 1988, I visited them with my college partner as we did a college paper on microbrewers! At that time, they were one of a few. We also had visited Great Lakes brewing in CLE! The microbrewing industry exploded shortly there after! Was a great personal walk down memory lane for my college days!! While Upper Canada was sold, was just excellent to see an old sign!

We were especially looking forward to trying the pizzas because we'd heard so many great things about them. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found out that the pizzas are only served during the week, while the weekend menu is a smaller BBQ-focused menu. We were pretty disappointed because the pizza was a big reason we wanted to visit. That also made things a little difficult for my vegetarian wife, as there was really only one vegetarian main option available: the Sweet Potato Al Pastor. Unfortunately, she wasn't a fan. She found it lacking in flavour and the texture was very mushy. I went with the Brisket, which was decent. The meat was nice and tender, but it was a little dry and, in my opinion, quite overpriced for what you get. The Queso Nachos were much better. The "Hey There!" sauce they put on them was absolutely delicious and added a ton of flavour. We also enjoyed the Pretzels, which were tasty. The beer was definitely one of the highlights of the visit. We tried several and really enjoyed them, especially the Sour Cherry Berliner, Apricot IPA, Raspberry Sweet Tea Ale, and Lemonade Lavender Ale. They're all really unique beers with some interesting flavours, and there were several that I hadn't tried before. We did find the prices throughout the brewery to be pretty steep. Personally, I'm also not a huge fan of paper menus and plastic cups at a brewery/restaurant like this...it just makes the experience feel a little cheaper than it needs to. That being said, the patio is really nice, and we definitely aren't writing Oast House off. We plan on coming back to try the pizzas during the week and explore more of their seasonal beers. This particular visit was just okay, but there's enough here that we're willing to give it another shot. For more brewery, food, and travel reviews, check out our YouTube channel A&M Roam!

Very cute place inside an inn, a little confusing on the entrance but everyone was super helpful. Preface, it was Canadian Thanksgiving day. It took awhile for the food , they did apologize when the food arrived. They said they were inundated with turkey dinners from Thanksgiving. The food was fantastic! Definitely the favorite was the cod. Very tender and my son said it was best meal on our trip so far. I highly recommend this gem of a place, waitress was very accommodating and friendly.

We were chatting with our little yelper and she had told the waitress she wanted chicken. Yes I know, chicken fingers in a Mexican restaurant.. our amazing waitress got those moving asap, and if you have a hangry kid. You know how important that is. We got the south of the border lunch and the steak fajitas. Those plates came out heaping with some of the best food we've had in some time. The chicken was perfect as was the steak. I literally couldn't have been more impressed with the meal. The only negative was the beans. Maybe it was us but we just felt they were too "soupy" but definitely not something that would negate how fantastic this was. Definitely not going to pass this gem again when we're in Hamburg.
