Once you have made the effort you will not only be surprised you will not be disappointed! The décor of the place can only be witnessed firsthand. I will not even try to describe the experience or the ambiance of the salon as words will not justify the actual experience. It's not just the name but rather the overall experience which separates this place from any other.... The diversity and talent of this handpicked "Twisted" staff only adds to the overall experience. LOL The entire staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. If you are there long enough, there is a good chance you will be very entertained by their conversations! They are a well rounded and very talented crew so no matter what you're there for you won't be disappointed! So what was I drawn in Twisted Salon for? A Tattoo! Yes that's right they even offer Tattoo's! The Tattoo artist or "Fuzzy" is extremely talented and describes himself as a "light handed tattoo artist". What does that mean to you? Well... it's all relative so the easiest way to describe is by comparison; he is by far not as painful as a "heavy handed artist" would be! If you want to see his work first hand, don't be afraid to ask.... You just might be surprised as to how many people in the salon have had artwork done by Fuzzy! All I can say is AWESOME! My daugher (college-age) and I (late 50's) both go to Twisted. I've been a client of Audi's for years and Brooke a few years before Audi,so I love them both. They are true experts in color, cut, and style whatever your age or personality. My gray hair is not easy to color, but an hour or so with Audi and I walk out looking ten years younger (husband loves his" young, new wife"). I totally trust Audi's judgment for occasional color adjustments (lighter for summer, warmer for winter) and updated cuts as styles change. If you've had the same cut for the past 10 years, be brave and let Audi give you a new cut! The salon design is Brilliant! Edgy, New York industrial chic with exposed brick walls, high black ceilings/exposed ductwork, lots of glass and sculptural iron and brushed stainless steel, nice leather tufted benches and pillows in the front waiting area, and the most comfortable, cushioned shampoo-rinse chairs I've ever sat in. Complimentary drinks and snacks are an unexpected bonus--not very common in this town. Nice high bar stools and glass table in the processing area plus cool mags to read. I'm not inked but love the fact that Twisted could do that if I wanted (I'm holding out for a henna tatoo that will fade with time). Can't wait for sandal-pedicure season! Today I dropped off my car for new tires at Discount Tires which is located right next door to Twisted Salon. Both are very close to my home and I've been wondering about this new salon since it opened recently. Well, I found out what a great and amazing place it is today. Instead of sitting and waiting for my car i decided to check out the Salon. As I walked in I was immediately greeted very warmly and with good energy. Right off the bat I new I was in a warm and friendly environment. I was also excited to have a stylist ready and willing to take great care of my hair. Cin short for Cindy~she is awesome 100%. Not only did she give my hair great style, she also educated me on my naturally curly hair and how "it" works. She gave me super information that NO other Hairstylist has ever has. Thank you Cin for REALLY knowing what you're doing. You're the real deal and I appreciate you. I also look forward to building a new client/stylist relationship with you. After one visit I am highly recommending Twisted Salon to anyone and everyone. Along with being warm and friendly it was also very clean and comfortable. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! While I was hesitant at first to try a new hair stylist, my daughter referred me to Audi at Twisted and I was so glad that I went. Her professional advice on my type of hair was right on and Audi worked miracles in surpassing my high expectations that I walked in with. The salon's atmosphere is ultra chic, as if you walked into a upscale New York salon with bricked walls. The staff makes you feel welcome, offering you a tasty mimosa or soda if you prefer. I love the set up and openness of the salon along with the flat screen televisions that scroll different hair models. There are plenty of munchies on the snack bar if you wish. On this visit I got the Brazilian Blowout, which came out incredible and with all Audi's advice I'm confident it will last the full three months before I'll have her do it again. Audi also gave me amazing cut that shows off my blond highlights. If that wasn't enough, Audi did an amazing job taming my eyebrows that were way past due. Audi is an asset to the beauty industry! Not only will I be going back to Twisted to see Audi, I will be taking my daughters and telling friends about the best salon Tucson has to offer in hair care. A++. read more

As a personal trainer I can't employ many of the traditional tactics - putting on a dress or a lot of makeup - to remedy an ugly day, and still be taken seriously by my clients. Instead maintaining the "healthy look" is essential, which clearly includes nice silky strands on top. I was so lucky to meet Paula the week after I arrived in LA, thus, I didn't have to go through any horror stories finding a stylist. Paula amped up my highlights just enough to look saavy, not sketchy, using several colors creating the depth and intrigue of a Monet painting. She also recommended the Brazilian straightening treatment, a life saver which has cut my styling time by 90%. My hair now is always soft, smooth and straight, and thus so much more manageable. No more 20min of straighening w/ a blow dryer and flat iron - which was frying my hair. I now can let the hair air dry and/or lightly hit it w/ the dryer. Still loving the "you're so lucky your hair falls so straight" compliments! So sorry to see my stylist and my friend go, but hope that everyone in Tucson appreciates you as much as I do! My hair stylist Michele is totally friggin awesome , she completely fixed my butchered hair from someone else (Who I shall not name because I'm a gentleman).I felt completely at ease the moment I walked into "Twisted salon". I love the laid back ambiance, the décor is so cooool and the staff is very friendly. I would fly to Tuscon if I could, just to get my hair done by Paula Scire. She is AMAZING. Paula is the best colorist I have ever been to - and I've gotten color more times than I care to admit, so I have a lot to compare her to. The best part for me was how beautifully the color blended with my natural hair color, so when it grew out, and I was too lazy to make an appointment for a touch-up, my hair still looked fabulous. I love my stylist Michele Alire. I was never happy with my hair cut or color. I never felt comfortable or satisfied after I had my hair done. Then I meet Michele Alire, she is the best ever. There's a hidden gem at Twisted and that is their in-shop Tattooer. Christian Beide does custom design and body art. He specializes in custom design and work. He did an awesome job at listening to some ideas I had and worked with me to put together an amazing piece. I've spent a number of hours with him now watching that piece come together and I couldn't be happier. Paula Scire is BEYOND amazing. I trusted her to transform my hot-mess of an at-home dye job (deep red, fyi) to a beachy, honey blonde in time for my wedding. I was very sad to move, Corrine Davis is the best stylist I've ever had and she's been cutting and styling my hair for 10yrs now and I can't find anyone like her here in Florida yet and I'm afraid to let others touch my hair since her .
