I found TWM on Yelp while looking for a roof-leak repair. Called and not only was given a quick appt but was also sent a photo of the estimator so I knew who to expect. The estimator, Lee, was right on time and gave me a detailed and fair price. Contract signing was done via email which made it very easy. Edwin was sent to do repairs a few days later and also was right on time! He was a hard worker who really knew what he was doing!! He discovered a hole and wood rot in a couple of wood panels so had to add to my total cost for replacements, but that had been spelled out in the contract. We asked TWM roofing to do our re-roof after severe leaking during recent storms. Some of this was due to poor solar installation and most of it was due to a bad roof that should never had panels on it in the first place. TWM came in just 2K under the highest bidder. Tom was very polite and personal when explaining the project. I would give 5 stars but even after sending over a safety inspector we still found debris from the project on our driveway, front lawn, back patio, and in our trees. This included nails, tacks, shingles, roof paper, and shingle sand. When you have a 110 lb German Shepherd who loves to run and play, it's not good to find these things in your driveway or the yard. I have had this problem with EVERY construction contractor ever hired. CLEAN UP YOUR MESS. I would and definitely recommend TWM roofing to my friends and associates. The roof looks great. read more

Before completing my solar panel project I had TWM do a underlayment replacement for my roof. We had scheduled for their team to come on a specific date to start the project. The start date was postponed due to rain. The project manager assure me that I would get a call to reschedule. Without any notice their team came and started on the demo on my roof. This was an issue because my wife works from home, plus we had a newborn. The point of arranging a time was so that WE could also make arrangements to work elsewhere while the roof was being worked on. After completion of the project we realized that their team had shorted out multiple outlets that they were using throughout the home. Upon initial inspection the project manager had apologized for the issue and assured me that they would send out an electrician to inspect and resolve the issue. When no electrician showed up I reached to TWM and was told that their construction team said they had not used the outlets and that they were not responsible or the repairs. I was sent an email from Lynette simply stating it was not their issue and to find an electrician. There was never any follow up. As a consumer I just wanted to know that tWM would at least try to ensure it was not their team. My home was fully functional without any electrical issues (I never use any of the external outlets that TWM used for the machinery) prior to the project but had shortages starting the same day that TWM worked on my home. I lost a deep freezer full of food and baby supplies due to the shortages. They were all the outlets that I had told TWM they could use for my roofing project. Terrible customer service. No attempt to resolve the problem. End the end I felt pretty helpless and just had someone else address the issue without the assistance of TWM. Bad business. read more

Most other companies were booked up weeks-months just for an inspection...again did I mention it doesn't rain very much in San Diego. They were super busy due to the high volume but came out in 2 days! TWM Roofing is one of the best venders that I have ever worked with and I've owned my home for almost two and a half decades! I had 5 other roofing companies come out to do a roof inspection and bid the job. My tile roof is approaching the 25 year mark and the underlayment needed to be redone. First, there was no comparison with the knowledge, professionalism and thoroughness of TWM's estimator Lee compared to the other companies' reps and what they offered with installing new underlayment. TWM installs two new layers of high quality underlayment that provides forty years plus protection if maintained properly. I have solar and when I called my solar rep to get an estimate to remove my panels, he knew TWM very well and said after working with around 20 roofing companies in San Diego, this is the only roofing company he will call because of their reliability, professionalism and quality work. I knew at that point I definitely had the right roofers and hired them to do the job. Felipe and Deibys were sent out to do the work and they were absolutely amazing! They were experts, having 40 plus years roofing experience between the two of them, professional and friendly. They also encouraged me to ask any questions. They worked very efficiently and kept the yard clean each day after doing the work. They did high quality work and seemed to take pride in the job. I couldn't be happier with their work! In a word, my experience with TWM Roofing was AMAZING. We had a major roof leak caused by faulty solar installation after the rain storms this year. TWM gave us a bid to remove the tiles and repaper the roof, and advised us how the solar should be reinstalled to prevent this from happening again. But it wasn't just advice--Tom Marshall actually ended up working directly with our solar company to arrange to have the panels and old attachments removed and properly reinstalled and water-proofed. He even convinced them to pay for the water-proofing completed by the TWM team, which was not a small expense. Dealing with insurance companies and the solar company, it has been a long process from start to finish, but Tom stuck with it and helped see it to fruition. During the actual repairs, the TWM team was courteous and professional, keeping me informed of their progress each day and cleaning up at the end of the day so it didn't feel like we were living in a construction zone. We had a re-roofing project done by TWM for our 28-year old roof and had to share what a great job they did start to finish. First they had the best price by far! My neighbor, who has the exact same house, used a different company, paid $3,000 more and liked our finished product better. It looked like the neighbors company just had more overhead. TWM strung me along for three weeks, repeatedly promising a roof inspection and repair estimate that it ultimately never provided. During that time the leak worsened and I now need start over with another company. Toward the end the company rep stopped even responding to my polite status inquiries. If you have a roof problem that needs prompt attention, i would strongly recommend not wasting your time with this company. Update: the owner apologized, took full responsibility for the delay, and offered a discount on roofing repairs. I asked for more details on the necessary repairs; Tom set an immediate inspection appointment and spent an hour personally checking out the problem. He ultimately indicated (correctly I have come to understand) that the leak problem may be due to the HVAC system and encouraged me to get that checked out. I no longer have a negative view of the company based on the owner's solid and professional response to my concerns. read more

After our recent rainy winter, I had a small leak coming through my upper level ceiling. I found TWM working on another house in the neighborhood. Their office promptly scheduled an appointment, and within one day of that appointment I had a firm price that was at or below what competitors had verbally "guesstimated." So with that comfort level, I hired them and again got a firm installation date, which was expedited due to another customer cancelling.
