I stopped in this restaurant for dinner. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a takeout restaurant and greeted! I ordered: 1. YangNyeum Boneless Thigh - Sweet and Spicy 2. Snowing Cheese Boneless Thigh - sweet cheesy powder 3. Honey Brown boneless Thigh - sweet honey glaze 4. K-fried Wings - original crispy, double battered so its extra crispy 5. Original tteokbokki - famous korean street food. Rice cake with spicy soup paste 6. Snowing cheese fries - extra coated crunchy french fries with snowing cheese powder The food was delicious and my favorite was the honey brown wings! I had a really great experience!

An amazing new Korean fried chicken spot that's finally open! No sit down yet, but the takeout is still fresh and crispy by the time you get home. They have sooo many sauces all of them better than the last and completely homemade. They also have other Korean staples besides chicken! Literally so delicious everything was fresh and crispy! And the food was fast wow don't wait long at all

Really enjoyed the Peckwich too, which came with juicy bits of fried chicken and what tasted like kimchi coleslaw. This place is the bomb dot com. A few tables are available for dine in but most people seemed to just order takeout out. Brian was very accommodating and down to earth. He remembers his customers and downright friendly.

It's been a minute since I've let myself indulge in Korean fried chicken, but I've been hearing…read moreabout Peck Peck since I moved to the area. Every time someone sang its praises, I had to wonder, 'Really? The best fried chicken comes out of THAT space?' Because every time I passed by it, it looked quiet or closed or both. But don't let appearances fool you. It's very, very good. To get straight to it, the wings are the way to go here. I ordered both the wings and the boneless tenders to give this place the old college try, and while the tenders are impressive in size and heft (and I personally like them because I don't have to work around a bone), I found the wings to be far more tender and flavorful. I also found that the tenders were far quicker to lose their fried crunchification. I also tried both the soy garlic and sweet and spicy flavors, and both are incredible. If you put a gun to my head and made me choose one, I'd have to pick the soy garlic, but I love the way these sauces aren't lathered onto each piece. There's just enough brushed on so that you can appreciate both the flavor and the texture of the chicken. The fries here are the wedge type. Think KFC, but fresher and less salty. Also, don't sleep on the pickled veg. I know it sounds nuts to buy pickled veggies from a fried chicken place, but it's a staple for classic Korean fried chicken dinners to cleanse the greasy palate with something acidic. I love the medley of veg they use here, and I loved the pickling juice so much, I actually found myself sipping it between bites (don't judge me). There's a small parking lot on the side of the building that might accommodate three or four cars at most. And that might be by design, because three or four parties is probably the most that could dine in this tiny restaurant. But as many have already shared, the owners here are so sweet and friendly, it's a gift to spend any amount of time with them, even in this teacup-sized dining room. Those who choose to takeout or deliver will be pleased to know that Peck Peck Chicken knows how to to package freshly fried things correctly - that is, with intentionally aerated containers so that you won't lose all that beautiful crisp as the food makes its way home.

I placed an order over the phone and was advised food would be ready in about 10-15mins, not bad! Love the quick service! Food was indeed ready within the advised timeframe. We had a 15min drive home, and it was well over 25mins by the time we were able to enjoy the food. Oh boy was the fried food still crispy and even warm! The onion bloom was soooo airway and crispy, absolutely the perfect batter. We didn't even need the dipping sauce! I placed an order of corns without Cajun seasons for my children, but both orders were overly seasoned. The family size boneless chicken was in a bath of sauce, too much liquid for me since it got a bit messy during transportation. There were too many small scrap pieces of chicken hidden under the large pcs of chicken, too hard to chew! Some larger pcs of chicken were also too hard to chew, I think we'll stick with wings next time .

I found out about the Cliffside Park location recently which is close by so I decided to have lunch there this past Friday. I noticed that they have a lunch combo menu and got the wing combo ($11.95). I ended up getting the spicy soy garlic and fries. Everything is made to order so it took about 15-17 minutes for it to come out. The wings are pretty big and it was really juicy on the inside. It wasn't that spicy and I really liked the flavor. The fries, awesome, crispy n good and I dipped it in the spicy ranch sauce which is also good. I found my go-to wing spot and will be back to try out other wings flavors and menu items. I highly recommend Bloom Chicken if you're in the mood for wings. * Parking in premise (limited) * Indoor dining * Gender neutral restroom

We ordered a chicken curry katsu, a 8 piece boneless soy garlic chicken, and 4 piece drumstick spicy soy garlic. We even got served little pre-meal treats before the courses came out; flavorful. The rice cakes were so fresh and none super chewy; just the right amount of chew and softness. All of it was delicious. The crispiness was nice without drying the meat; nor was it oily. For under $50, very much worth it!

And since I prefer white meat, the dry white meat parts were literally tough to swallow. The white radish was aged well, perhaps too well, so it didn't have the crisp crunch we've come to expect. There were several things these guys did well that give me hope for a possible next visit. First, the sauce for the sweet chilli chicken was on point, and theirs is the sauce-y kind which I like. One of the three sides, the rice cakes, was my favourite part of the whole meal. The rice cakes were tender and a perfect bite size, and the sauce was the right blend of sweet and spicy that doesn't hurt my stomach. The dining room is nice and open, and decor was surprisingly whimsical (pictured). The vinyl glove was a nice touch and saved me from using utensils to get meat off the bones. I'd consider going back. When I do, I expect a solid 5-star experience.

Typically, I order the chicken poppers and a side of rasta pasta. The chicken poppers are always and I mean ALWAYS cooked perfectly. They are basically smaller versions of chicken tenders. Whenever they arrive to me, they're fried crispy and hot, then tossed it whatever sauce I request. I usually get the honey BBQ sauce but lately I've been testing others and baybeeeee, they have a nice selection! I fell in love with the honey garlic sauce. Whenever I receive my food, it melts nicely onto the chicken, making it sticky sweet. Now, the rasta pasta could use some work. The first time I got it, it was very greasy and lacked flavor. It almost tased like a hot pasta salad, the kind you would get at a cookout or deli. The next time I ordered it, it was perfect. It had a subtle creaminess to it with perfectly cooked bell peppers and a subtle jerk seasoning or something close to it. Third time I ordered it, it was back to subpar. I'll still order it, in hopes that its just as good as that second time. On another note, I've had the mac n' cheese with oxtail. I wasn't a huge fan of the mac n' cheese. It was creamy but there was no pull to the cheese, which I prefer, therefore it kind of fell flat to me. The oxtail however, was heavenly. Very tender with delicious flavor. I also liked that they offer it off the bone. Finally, I would pass on their french fries. They are regular pre-frozen fries, nothing spectacular. Overall, if you are looking for a delicious Caribbean-American fusion, fast-casual restaurant, the sauce-boss wins! Highly recommended.
