I have been battling two leaks, one on each side of the house where we added an addition in 2006. Jose, the owner at Restoration Roofing, was able to squeeze me in and visited me the same day I requested the estimate on Yelp while the others responded and came in a day or two. Jose arrived early for our appointment and flew a drone over the house, the other roofers relied on a company that specializes in providing sqft and other data to roofers. Jose was the only one who really impressed me and presented me with a beautifully written, thorough, bulleted estimate describing all materials to be used per my preferences (e.g., Certainteed Landmark Pro shingles) before even leaving. Jose was friendly, professional and obviously knew residential roofing based on our half an hour or so together. The other roofers all got back with estimates in a day or two, which was fine - but Jose's estimate was the best-written, clear and concise but thorough, on a one-page form. Jose did not pressure me while I was waiting on the other roofers' estimates at all, when he left he just shook my hand and asked me to contact him if I had any other questions, in a warm and genuine way. The overall sense I had, combining all the Yelp reviews and my own interaction with Jose was that he is a genuine, friendly roofing expert. When the other estimates came in, I was happy to see Restoration Roofing's was among the lowest two for a lot of reasons. One reason was the pages and pages of stellar Yelp reviews from Yelpers who had solid Yelping history. Another was his communication and person skills. In addition, Jose's company is Certainteed Master Certified and Certainteed shingles, from my research, are great value and quality. In addition to a new roof and identification of the source of the leaks and repair/prevention and the upgraded shingles, I asked for new oversized gutters and downspouts, and pvc facia. When roofing day arrived, Santos, Josh and a crew seven others were right on time and were friendly and hard-working! I watched off and on as they did herculean work to remove the old roof, including replacing some of the rotted wood in need of replacement (see pic of one leak and damaged wood). They did a fine job, paying attention to detail and photographing their progress from their lofty perch, and at the job's completion Jose provided me with a link to over a hundred photos documenting the progress. I watched as the flashing, nailing, boot replacement... everything went flawlessly. And they did a great job cleaning up and did a couple extra things no charge, like resecuring soffit. I was confident when I selected Restoration Roofing over the other highly-rated roofers. A week and a half later, my roof is beautiful! All in all from appointment to estimate, to roofing, to gutters, to the photos and the price of the estimate holding true, it was a stellar experience and I can't thank them all enough for being so great at what each excels at. As previously scheduled, Ben and team delivered the shingles and dumpster (for removing shingles) a day before and on the day of install, completed the Certainteed shingles install in a day. Having worked with him a few years before, this time I didn't even reach out to any other roofing companies, knowing his company would do an excellent job again, which he did, and with a smile.

With regards to the heating of our home, the windows were no better than screens. I reached out, looking for windows and installers. I had a few people come in and estimate the job. None of them impressed me until Greg from Windows on Washington came over. He walked me through several options and explained how the windows they used were manufactured and why. Windows on Washington got the job. My windows and my doors were being manufactured. So they sent out a wonderful gentleman to get the final accurate measurements. Great guy. After that, communication was wonderful as were were assessed of the stage we were in. This included when we got the email and calls explaining that, since we were on a higher floor, they needed to bring in some equipment to lift the new doors up to our balcony. No surprises. Installation day was amazing as Joon and his team came in, got everything into place, and cleaned up the areas to better than when they got here. Joon then went over the features on our windows and even explained how we get to and clean the outsides of the glass. Wonderful man and amazing team. Since then, we have gotten copies of our warranty and the guarantees. And the company has reached out twice to ask if we have any questions and to ensure that we are happy with our windows. We are. We are very happy with our windows. Almost as happy as we are with the people who got them into our home.

Because Augustine Roofing's price quote is competitive and the project manager Dakota is very nice and he explained all the items and answered all my questions during the free estimate, also back and forth via emails which gives me confidence that I can trust their work, and that is why I decided to have them do my roof replacement job. The production manager Bobby have been keeping in touch with me all the time for any details while I was waiting for the schedule. I even asked them to replace my gutter and add new screen. We needed a single decorative window shutter replaced, and most companies either wouldn't take on…read moresuch a small job or required a high minimum cost. This company was the only one willing to waive their minimum to help us out and I'm so glad we found them! They were incredibly patient throughout the process, helping us locate the exact replacement and making sure the color perfectly matched the existing shutters. They even went the extra mile by replacing the neighboring shutter as well, just in case there was any fade difference between new and old. A special shoutout to Charlie, who helped us and also did the work -- he was amazing! Extremely communicative, kind, and respectful. He kept us informed every step of the way and truly cared about getting everything perfect. This may have been a small project, but they treated it with first-class service. I called Beyond Exteriors right when they opened and they were at my house by 1 PM the same day to do urgent and temporary repairs including temporary supports and tarping. We had a huge rainstorm right afterwards and the interior of our structure stayed dry. they also worked very hard, were honest, thorough and charged a very fair and reasonable price.
