I regretfully have to give my last experience at Leon's shop disappointing I was quoted $1140 for my front bearings on my Ram, which I agreed to, this also included a front end alignment Trying to make a long story short, apparently they ordered the wrong part, I was already on a time crunch to leave, which Leon was aware of So the gal that sets appointments and quotes prices, called me let me know that they got the wrong part and the correct part is coming in but will be " a little bit more money" she never specified how much more it would be . So here is what I am very disappointed with... my quoted price was $1140 with an alignment The new price was over $1450 and he didn't get it aligned So the new price was over $300 more than quoted price with no alignment So figure the alignment at $100 or so Make the bearings with the new part was really over $400 more than was quoted which is an increase of about 35% more So when the young lady told me the part will be a little bit more I never would have expected a little bit more to be approximately $400 more or 35% more. I've done work with Leon and always been very good and very fair, but this time I felt I was taken advantage of because of my situation. Had the young lady told me I'd be paying $400 over of what I was quoted I would have gone to Brake Masters they had quoted me $1200 The bottom line is if you are going to adjust your quote give an exact number because when she said the cost will be a little bit more I was thinking $50-$60 not $400 I had a ton of trust with this shop, but unfortunately the trust is lost read more

I have the worst history with mechanics, I absolutely loathe having to go, as a woman my mother and I have been taken advantage of time after time. This place completely changed our outlook and I will NEVER go to another mechanic again. They were amazing. We are about to leave for a roadtrip across the country when we started to have issues with the our vehicle. We were obviously already in a high state of stress due to the trip itself, but naturally this exacerbated the anxiety into panic, particularly because the our funds have all been but allocated, leaving little wiggle room. These gentlemen went out of their way to see us expeditiously. They were welcoming, knowledgeable and informative. Leon, Johnny and Tommy got to work immediately, regularly checking in and letting us know each and every detail of the repairs. They offered water and comfort whilst we waited. They fixed everything quickly and efficiently with clear and concise communication and reasonable prices. They not only fixed the vehicle, they made us feel valued and appreciated as customers and did so without causing us to break the bank. They were kind, informed and changed our perspective having to rely on mechanics. Just tried to take my Jeep here, that has been broke down for the last two years and was super stoked to have another running vehicle as well as hopefully a good local mechanic. Well let me tell ya I was sadly disappointed. I had came here upon a recomendation from Scotty Hawkins at Napa auto in Apple Valley just around the corner, I was in there for some parts just a few months back and spoke to him about a good local mechanic, at which time he gave me Leon's # and told me that he does good work. That may be but sadly I will never find out as he was very rude and dismissive and as a bisness owner I must say it was very unprofessional and uncalled for. He told me that since I had sorced my parts elsewhere in hopes of doing the work myself if I ever get the time, that he was unable to warranty them which is understandable and common practice for mechanics but then he kept on telling me repeatedly that they parts woud not be covered and warrantied I mean aside from the oil pump were talking gaskets here amd the rest of the work from the machine shop aside from slapping the gaskets on and torqueing to spec. So I ask him if the seal goes how are we gonna know what went the seal or the torque spec being off if you have to remove it and sometimes they break while revoving which he admits so I ask what will be under warranty since I clearly understand that he is unable to offer a warranty on a part bought elsewhere and he explains that he daily has cars leave the shop and return with a leaking water pump that he just installed, sounding like he doesn't even test drive or check a customers car before returning them. Now I do realize that sometimes you get a faulty part but he said everyday so I said that comment alone makes me very leary of his mechanical know how all together at which time I said so long Leon, I guess this guy is Napa Auto's #1 salesman of the month just like Dylan M.
