The reason I gave this place 4 stars is not because of the food but because of the owner. He is super friendly and such a hard worker I swear he sleeps there. Two Brothers is the best of the Mexican restaurant options in Sandy. I wouldn't say it's really great, just that it's consistently good. It's pretty much the standard tortillas with beans, rice, meat, and cheese, they just do it a little better than the other options. I will say there is no ambiance to the place but I get tired of being beat over the head by the Mexican village motif at the typical restaurant anyway so its no real loss. read more

Seriously poor customer service! I was driving over Mt hood, which is a trek I make almost monthly. Was in the mood for a burrito so I quickly checked yelp while I was getting my tank filled at a gas station and found this restaurant. Feeling in a hurry, I called the restaurant without checking the menu. I asked the guy who picked up the phone if they had a chicken burrito and what was in it. He listed off the ingredients in a somewhat condescending/exasperated tone. When I politely asked him to clarify what kind of cheese was inside, he replied, "I make it for you in 5 minutes when you get here. You can look at the menu here. Ok? Goodbye!" And he hung up on me! Wtf! I don't care if you're busy, you don't hang up on a polite customer. You just lost a potential regular customer dude. read more

Just came here with my boyfriend. We ordered a margarita and steak fajitas and the margarita was not good so we told the owner we didn't want it and to take it off our check. He got mad that we didn't like his drink. After we got our food I ate 1 1/2 of my steak fajitas and noticed a short black hair in the mixture on the plate that was under the food. We complained when he came back and told him we didn't want to pay for the steak fajitas becasue of that and that they were really greasy and not done right. He then continued to tell us that we will be paying for everything and his food isn't bad it's great. Along with that he was cursing at us both at the same time. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Horrible customer service. I have been in the food business for 8 almost 9 years and u do not treat customers like he did to us just becasue he didn't want to hear the truth. By far my favorite mexican food place! Great food and personable, funny staff.

I went here with my girlfriend the other day and we were not impressed. The chips were stale. The food was very bland and almost tasted gritty. The staff was annoying. They kept making jokes about how young i look. I do look young but i dont want to talk about every time they come and check on us. It was very annoying. We ordered a root beer when we first arrived. They brought us the rootbeer at the very end of our meal, he apologized but i feel like they brought us the rootbeer just so they could put it on the bill. we drank maybe a 4th of it between the two us because we were already done eating. When we were leaving my girlfriend was going to pay and he made a lot of jokes about that as well. He gestured to me to pay as well. It was very rude and unprofessional. We really liked this place! Food was very good, obviously homemade salsa and chips. The chicken mole enchiladas were delicious! Our server was jovial and friendly, mixed Spanish with English and we laughed a lot! Not busy at all, quick service. Would definitely eat here again! My husband and I come here every chance we can! The staff are very friendly and we can always count on the food to be great. The portions are generous and the prices are even affordable which makes this place even better!!! I love how the owner has a sense of humor and remembers us every time we come in. Much better service than any of the other Mexican food restaurants in the area. They have a variety of menu items, but we just stick to the Mexican cuisine so I can't say much about the other types of food they offer. Great place to go :) read more

My wife and I took my daughter for dinner on her 22nd birthday to Two Brothers. She wanted Mexican food and the Yelp reviews of the other Mexican restaurant were even worse. We braved going to Two Brothers for the first time. I was really nervous about going there since many of the other Yelp reviews are not so great. It turned out great. The food and drinks were good and they came in a reasonable amount of time. The place can seat about 15 people comfortably but there was only one person working so if there were multiple tables of people at the same time, quickness would slip quickly. We are common people and did not expect or get fancy décor. Our experience was much better than apparently others have had at one point or another. read more

Terrible food! The baby back ribs were very dry and covered in the wrong sauce, the beef ribs had so little meat on them my husband was still hungry (he's not a big guy), and the coleslaw tasted as if it had turned as it was bitter. Our side of BBQ sauce turned out to be salsa, and the Smoked Chicken Creole Salad had nothing creole about it, it was simply lettuce, tomato, cheese and smoked chicken. This is the second try we have given this place and have been unimpressed both times. My family and I will never be eating from here again!! If you want good BBQ in Sandy, OR this is NOT the place. read more
