Do not park in this lot!

You must come check out this brewery that's beaming with great beer and food. They have something for everyone here, not just catering to beer lovers but also their friends who may not be into beers. They have 12 beers on tap, cocktails, wine, seltzer and non-alcoholic beer. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Habanero Lime Chicago-ish $7 pint - My favorite beer of the day, very refreshing with a subtle spicy kick. Chicken Tikka Tacos $14 - 3 delicious tacos that combined bold smoky flavors of tender chicken tikka with fresh, vibrant, and tangy flavors of pickled onions and cilantro lime sauce. Foreign Exchange Smashburger $18 - Excellent burger and comes with fries or upgrade to the cheese curds. Bombay sandwich $14 - Vegetarian sandwich, also comes with fries. River Street Curds - These are unlike any cheese curds and I have tried and they are to die for! Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. Plenty of street parking, but don't park in the residential parking lot next to the building. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2025

Omg these masala curds are AMAZING!

Walked in to a bright, clean, friendly atmosphere. Decor is beautiful and welcoming. Brittany was our bartender...so friendly and gave great suggestions. Can definitely tell this is her home...she is so passionate about what they offer. Tried a lot of 5 oz. Pours...the usual, aurora beer spruce up, peel party, gratification, blender bender no 1, kittywampus, barrel aged serum of truth, and lineage.... There wasn't 1 I didnt like. I was so impressed. I normally don't care for wheat beers but even loved the peel party...flavorful and refreshing! For food: - masala cheese curds (square..the best kind!) - chimichurri burger with Peri peri waffle fries -birria grilled cheese Andrea in the kitchen has talent because all the flavors together were absolutely outstanding. This is food you cannot find anywhere else! Will definitely be back as soon as possible! Wish you were closer to home!

Full disclosure - we don't drink, but we do love food, and the eats here are yummy! We both got the December special - grilled cheese with birria and a cup of posole blanco - delicious. The homemade sourdough is a treat, and the service is fast and friendly.

Foreign Exchange flights include 4 5oz beers. This flight and the beers listed is from our most recent visit on 8/9/2025

Foreign Exchange offers a variety of hot, fresh food that superior to your normal bar food. The flavors are distinct and delicious. We have tried the Peri Peri Gyros, Elote Bites and Kittywampas Churros. The beers are outstanding. After a couple of visits, my husband and I have tried almost all the beers on the menu. He is an IPA and stout fan , and I like everything else. Beers are full of flavors that are subtle and natural. The descriptions on the menu are exactly what you will taste in the beers. We have yet to find one we didn't like. Service is fast, friendly, attentive and beyond helpful. Caetlyn was our server on our most recent visit and could not have been nicer: Foreign Exchange is a great addition not only to Downtown Aurora but also to the Illinois Craft Beer Community.

It's not a pretty photo but these are the incredible birria nachos.

It pretty much only has beers, but it also has a distillery next to it where you can get that stuff too. Has more of these than expected. There's some pretty cool flavors. Breweries like this are known for their limited hours and selections, but here neither is the case. It's actually got quite a bit to choose from. There's a few pretty interesting and unique flavors, too. A lot of these rotate so it makes people come back. It's about $7 a pint. We had a few of these. Best we had was the Mist Walker, a hazy IPA. This is a pretty strong one. Has a window into Home Run Hot Dogs. It's got a few including veggie dogs that are made Chicago style. Also is known for their stuffed pretzels. They let you bring in stuff. Great place to get locally made beers. It's actually open daily if you can even believe it. They're open longer on weekends.

My experience with Hopvine Brewing was incredibly disappointing, and unfortunately it ended before…read morewe were ever able to order a single beer or meal. On July 26, 2026, my wife called the restaurant specifically to ask if their patio was dog friendly because we planned to bring our small dog. She was told that it was. Based on that information, we drove 31 minutes to the brewery looking forward to trying several of their beers. When we arrived, the employee informed us that only service animals were permitted on the patio. I explained that my wife had called ahead and spoken with a male employee who told us dogs were allowed. The employee admitted he was the person who answered the phone, but first claimed my wife never mentioned bringing a dog. I was present during the call and know that she specifically asked about bringing our dog. He then changed his explanation and said he "must not have understood." I found that explanation difficult to believe. I then informed him that our dog is a service dog. Instead of asking the questions permitted under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), he repeatedly asked to see the dog's credentials. Under ADA guidance, businesses generally may not require documentation or certification for a service animal. Even after I explained this, he continued asking for credentials. To make matters worse, this all occurred around dinner time when the restaurant and patio were completely empty--we were the only customers there. The entire experience left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. Whether this was the result of poor employee training or company policy, the staff handled the situation in a way that reflected poorly on the business. I drove over half an hour to visit a brewery I was genuinely excited to experience, only to leave without ever being served. I'm an avid craft beer enthusiast who travels around the country reviewing breweries and sharing my experiences. It's unfortunate because Hopvine had several beers I was looking forward to trying and reviewing. Instead, my only takeaway from this visit was a very disappointing customer service experience. I hope Hopvine provides better training to its staff on both communicating accurate information to customers and understanding the ADA's requirements regarding service animals. If you're posting this publicly, you may also want to attach any evidence you have (such as a call log showing the timing of the call) and keep the review focused on your firsthand experience, as that tends to make reviews more credible. Until then I would avoid this brewery at all cost until they can update their pet policy and provide better customer service.

I love Hopvine! It's a brewery located in a strip mall tucked away from the main road. I've been…read morehere twice so far and loved everything about it. I recommend getting a beer flight to try different flavors. Or once you find something like you (for me, it was the Brightfire) then you can get a pint! Their beer list is extensive, there are so many taps to try and they have some seasonal beers too. Their food was good and surprisingly gourmet. Each time I came here I ordered their wings because they were irresistible. You can even do half-half sauce for an order of six wings, which I appreciated because not all resistances will do this special request. It also shows that their wings are freshly prepared, and their kitchen went above and beyond to make a customer happy. I love their hot honey and buffalo. My husband has tried their patty melt and their Reuben sandwich. Nothing beats a brewery with nice people, great beers, and the gourmet food was just the cherry on top. They have a ton of space inside, don't let the strip mall entrance deceive you; bar seating, high tops, low tops, and a whole other dining area in the back if you want a quieter space. They have something similar to trivia on a weeknight, survey slam (?), and now that it's warmer, their patio is open! Some folks have mentioned slower service, but each time we've been here, we were well taken care of. I'm a huge fan of Hopvine!

The garlic cheese curds were the highlight of the meal, we enjoyed them so much that we ended up ordering a second round. The wings were decent, but the menu described them as smoked, and I honestly couldn't detect any smoky flavor or aroma. My biggest complaint was the service. The waiter took our food and drink orders at the same time, but the drinks arrived much later than expected. In fact, we had already finished our appetizers by the time the beer was served. Since we visited around 2-3 PM and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, the delay was disappointing. Overall, the food was enjoyable, especially the garlic cheese curds. If I return, I'll probably order my drinks first and place my food order afterward to avoid the wait.

So we moved to another table and it also wobbled. I propped a folded napkin to steady the table. Our server was friendly and respectful, but slow. We ordered a Fried Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer. They were nice and crispy, but lacked seasoning -- salt, for example -- none! My wife ordered the strip steak. It was loaded with gristle; she had no choice but to leave partly chewed beef on her plate; gross, but necessary. I ordered the fish tacos. There was so much salad on these tacos, it rendered the fish non-existent; literally, I couldn't taste, or even find the fish. We finished with a slice of Creme Brûlée Cheesecake that was amazing!! Delicious! While Two Brother's beer is generally exceptional, and the atmosphere at the Roundhouse is quite interesting, their food sucks. They need a new chef!!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the space was converted to accommodate a non- music event (including sofas upfront - which I enjoyed thoroughly). Our server was kind and attentive before, during and after the show and her presence didn't distract from the show either. I was easily able to enjoy my beer while laughing through the sets. My friends were able to enjoy some beers and canned cocktails as well. We all were impressed with the combination of sold out event and service. Pollyanna is one of the top attractions in downtown St. Charles along the Fox River. Has the brewery as well as a patio that's nice when it's warm enough. They also have a distillery for those who are getting the hard stuff. Best thing about this place is of course the beer, but it also has a chill atmosphere. It's located in the middle of downtown in a plaza. There's a patio in front that will be packed in warm weather. For this particular trip we sat inside. The inside is actually pretty big, and has the bar area as well as an area with quite a few tables. It's about $7 a pint. There was a pretty good variety. I got the Sweater Paws. It's a blonde ale that's on the lighter side. This beer has notes of coffee and vanilla. As for the food, not much else besides $1 or so bags of chips but you can bring stuff in. Has Colleen's Breadsticks for $6 a bag which are local. There's several restaurants next to here that will deliver an order. Has a pretty fun atmosphere and most important has good beers to choose. It also has cans to go. The brewery also hosts some food trucks.
