Nothing wrong with telling us that, because that's just what we did! We wanted him to be desensitized before he came back. The few times I brought him in, all the experiences were good! So much so I'd gush over how good he looked after grooming and how he looked well taken care of. He'd come home happy and maybe take a little nap. So, I decided to bring him in again recently. Same service as before, nothing different. The most I waited for my dog before was 3 hours (but I was given a heads up by the groomer that they were busier the day he waited for 3 hours, so not an issue at all). My dog was there for about 6 hours. I dropped him off in the late morning and he's wasn't ready until the later in the afternoon. I called to check in after a few hours, but was told her was in rotation to be finished soon... No one gave me a heads up about it maybe taking a while when I dropped him off. When my dog finally was able to come home, he was super dehydrated, immediately needed to use the restroom and was just lethargic overall (never an occurrence in any previous visit at this groomer or at any of the other previous grooming locations my dog has gone to). The stars given are only because of the positive experiences I had BEFORE the most recent one because I genuinely enjoyed bringing my dog here and this would've been a 5 star place for me. But based off my recent experience, it was not a 5 star service. I didn't recognize anyone there, (granted it had been a little while since we had last brought him in), so I'm not sure if they have new staff. However, I unfortunately don't want to put my dog through something like this most recent experience again.

I asked several vets in the area regarding pricing and Fullerton Hills Pet Clinic pricing was very reasonable compared to the others. They did his bloodwork a few days before and gave me a call confirming he was good to go for surgery. It has been two months since his surgery but he is back to his normal self or at least a good 90%. He has started to run around and stands on his left leg now. My beloved dog passed away on August 3. I intentionally waited before writing this review of…read moreFullerton Hills Pet Clinic and Dr. W. H. Cho because I wanted time for my emotions to settle and to describe our experience as fairly and factually as possible. My dog was only nine and a half years old and had been a patient at this clinic since 2024. He was truly a member of our family, and we were extremely attentive to his health. Because we carried pet insurance, he received annual wellness examinations, and we never hesitated to seek veterinary care or approve recommended testing and treatment. In 2026 alone, we brought him to the clinic on April 17 for a general examination, ear cleaning, and an allergy injection for excessive paw licking. We brought him back on June 11 for another general checkup, even though he did not appear to have any significant health problems at the time. On July 6, he was noticeably unwell and had very low energy, so we immediately took him to Dr. Cho. After a blood test and digital X-rays, Dr. Cho diagnosed him with a collapsed trachea. He was given a cortisone injection, along with oral medication. We picked up additional medication on July 10. Unfortunately, his condition did not meaningfully improve. We returned to Dr. Cho on July 20 and explained that the previous injection and medication had not resolved his symptoms. He was given another cortisone injection and the same or similar oral medication. By July 27, his condition had become significantly worse. We returned to the clinic once again, and Dr. Cho administered barium and performed additional digital X-rays. After reviewing the images, he told me that he did not see anything seriously concerning. Only a few days later, my dog became extremely lethargic, could no longer eat or drink, was breathing rapidly, and began bleeding from his mouth. His tongue also appeared to be pushed to one side. We rushed him to a larger veterinary facility, where the veterinarian examined his mouth and discovered a significant tumor beneath his tongue. We were told that the tumor was incurable and was likely causing him considerable pain. On August 3, our family made the heartbreaking decision to let him go peacefully rather than allow his suffering to continue. What troubles me most is that we brought him to Fullerton Hills Pet Clinic repeatedly--including several visits during the final month of his life--and his mouth apparently was not thoroughly examined despite his worsening condition. I understand that not every illness can be diagnosed immediately and that finding the tumor earlier may not have changed the ultimate prognosis. However, a thorough physical examination, including an examination inside his mouth, might have identified the tumor or the source of his discomfort sooner. At the very least, we might have understood the seriousness of his condition earlier and spared him some pain. Looking back, I also realized that routine examinations at this clinic did not seem to include a sufficiently thorough hands-on evaluation of his entire body, ears, and mouth unless we specifically raised a concern about a particular area. Based on our experience, I strongly encourage pet owners to ask exactly what is included in a physical examination and to specifically request that the veterinarian examine their pet's mouth, tongue, gums, throat, and other areas carefully--especially when symptoms persist despite treatment. The clinic may be suitable for straightforward concerns such as ear infections, allergies, or minor skin irritation. However, when an animal's condition is worsening or not responding to treatment, I would urge owners to seek a second opinion or visit a larger veterinary hospital as soon as possible. I was also disappointed by the manner and attitude of some staff members during an already stressful time. Many of my friends used this clinic because of its convenient location. After learning what happened to my dog, several have told me that they are now considering taking their pets elsewhere. My heart still aches when I think that we might have recognized his pain sooner. I trusted that he was receiving a complete and careful evaluation each time I brought him in. I will always carry the sadness of wondering whether he suffered longer than necessary. He is now in dog heaven, running and prancing without pain. He was deeply loved, and he will always be a part of our family.

I asked for a short haircut for both dogs and she followed my instructions perfectly. My dogs can be pretty fuzzy and a bit whiny, but Mi C. handled them with great care and patience. I have been bringing my Doberman to this veterinary office since she was only a few months old,…read morewhich made my most recent experience extremely disappointing. My dog was in heat during this visit and was understandably a little more anxious than usual. While she did growl, this is not typical behavior for her, and I expected a veterinarian with years of experience and familiarity with my dog to be able to assess the situation professionally. Instead, the veterinarian never properly examined her. For most of the appointment, he only peeked his head into the room and would not come in. After I addressed my concerns, he finally entered but remained pressed against the wall, visibly fearful of my dog. It was shocking to see this level of discomfort from someone who has been treating her since she was a puppy. What was even more frustrating was being charged an examination fee when no meaningful examination actually took place. I specifically questioned the charge because, from my perspective, there was no exam performed. It felt unfair to pay for a service that was never provided, not to mention when I called to schedule the appointment I let the receptionist know that my dog was still on her period. Instead of telling me that it was too soon for her to come in for an examination she still scheduled my appointment. Once we began the "consultation" the vet tells me that it's too soon and that she needs to wait a couple of months. Why couldn't that have been said over the phone? We wouldn't have wasted our time to come in for a useless appointment, let alone be charged for an exam if the vet didn't even examine her?! I understand that safety is important, but if a veterinarian is unable or unwilling to properly assess a patient, that should be communicated honestly rather than charging for a full exam. After bringing my dog here for an entire year, this experience left me feeling disappointed, frustrated, and will no longer be bringing my dog here for any future visits.
