It was built for the workers of the Breakers Hotel. The Bed and Breakfast will be 100 years old next year. Rebecca and Maggie are Managers and co managers of the Bed and Breakfast. Overly nice and helpful. There are 11 rooms; 2 private cottages and 3 bedrooms/ 2 bath apartment and many rooms with either a king size poster bed or 2 queen beds. There is a continental breakfast; Pastries, Nonnis( Chocolate) delicious. Coffee, Tea, ice cold water. They give you 2 complimentary Pellegrini bottles of water. Our room was a king size poster bed with a sitting area, double sinks, private bathroom, tub/shower. Many toiletries; shampoo, soap, cream. A TV, microwave, refrigerator. The bed was amazingly comfortable with big fluffy pillows and extremely comfortable comforter. Ceiling fan. Private patio outside with a shower. Big beautiful French doors that open up to the heated pool only steps away from the room. They even have an iron and board and hair dryer. If you forgot your bug stray or sun screen it is provided free. They are right across from the Art Armory that happened to have a show outdoors this weekend. Free street parking. They have 3 lounge chairs by the pool with cushions and towels by the pool. Outside the room is a table with chairs. Every comfort from home. Every room looks onto the pool. Very quiet neighborhood and beautiful palm trees surround the property creating a surreal atmosphere and a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Please come to Grandview Gardens Bed and Breakfast. I went around the corner and a man snapped at me uts all been relayed you just didn't read it.... Was baffled by not seeing the text abd the nan's curt reply im a senior citizen who us technically deaf even with hearing aids, my vision is not perfect and have significant balance issues. This was both embarrassing and hurt my feelings. Totally unnecessary. 2. Suite is delightful, clean, plenty of light and eclectic atmosphere that is truly charming. Excellent. 3. The pool is clean and attractive and regularly cleaned by a professional. There are assigned chairs, which supposedly in the text, which I still have not located... my mistake. The sane curt man told me in an unpleasant tone if I had read the instructions this would not occur, both of our mistakes. He pointed out wthere was a sign outlining at private area, i never saw it, im vision impaired. Bith of our errors but primarily the man... did not tell me until Iimvaded a private space. Niw its a nasty tone. Should have told yoolitely the first time. Im not an intentionally space invader lady. There is no reason to be RUDE.. I caused an innocent mistake invading a private area. Either mentiot it the first time, no reason to be a grouch because I accidentally made a mistake. Thats on him. Yes I'm a grrmsphobe the entire suite is super clean germaphobe. Major plus for this charming B&B. Now I am checking out early, they have a generous check out tine of 11, turnaround of this clean of a room is very impressive thry must have a high guest to employee ratio. Major positive for them. The suite has a beautiful shower and again its impressively clean the geavy glasydoors have NO water spots. I've never showered on beautiful rock floor. Big mistake on my part. Thisr ricks sre very slippery and I fell, abd they share resothere aren't the handicap bars... huge iversuon the owner ir their plumber. This us on them and i dud get hurt because I slipped, nothing life threatening just bloid minor and bruised right hip. They happily gave me ice as i devoured the delicious mushrooms pie. Mixed response...on thus situation. I have put numerous friends there over the years and still will. I've seen some of the reviews but I can't be that hard…read more I was in Florida for business of course and Mrs. E was with me. One property on the west coast and one on the east coast. We stayed here as a VRBO.one draw to the resort is a balcony. We love having coffee on the balcony in the morning and wine in the evening. The resort has Valet parking which I typically love but a little sloppy here. Back to the balcony. We were on a night floor which was advertised as the penthouse. Except there were two floors above us. Worst part was that the HVAC machines were on our side of the building which created constant noise. Big letdown. So in my business I can't help but look at things that are being neglected. Typically that's not a good sign. The pathway to the beach was not what the advertisement showed and much of the brick work was damaged and appeared neglected. They do have a restaurant on the property. We had breakfast there one morning. Not my fav. They have a store with beach wear but ridiculously expensive. Would we stay there again? I think I'll pass. You decide for yourself.

They do criminal background checks on all residents and deny entry to anyone with a criminal history. The rooms are updated and modern, clean and well taken care of. There are large flat-screen TVs with every channel possible (including HBO, etc), wifi and keyless entry. The manager is a former sales director for large hotels with big corporate accounts and is a trustworthy, professional person. Lake Worth is a pretty rough place (but not really dangerous, I don't think there's much violent crime). There are many of the infamous fraudulent drug rehab centers and "sober houses" here (see the Megyn Kelly story from NBC News), and as a result you see drug addicts and prostitutes walking along Federal Hwy and Dixie Hwy. This motel is an island of safety and cleanliness in a sea of ugliness. All the other motels in this area are nasty, dirty and scary. Don't stay anywhere else in Lake Worth if you need a weekly, extended-stay option.

Most hotels were…read moreoutrageously overpriced that weekend, so when someone suggested Queens Lodge Motel as a more affordable option, claiming it "wasn't that bad," we decided to give it a try. That turned out to be a massive lie. This place is a complete dump. We arrived on Friday and were checked in by an older woman who was easily the rudest front-desk employee I've encountered in years of traveling. When we entered our room, we were immediately hit with a strong, unpleasant smell of mold, old furniture, and filthy carpet. The room appeared completely untouched by any updates since the motel was originally built. The in-window air conditioner reeked like an ashtray the moment we turned it on. The sheets were so questionable that we immediately drove to Target to buy our own, along with new pillows. I ended up spraying an entire can of Lysol on the carpet, beds, and bathroom. The walls had numerous stains, including one that looked suspiciously like urine. The only remotely positive thing about the room was that the mini-fridge actually worked. Unfortunately, the night-shift employee was overheard by my wife yelling at a customer on the phone and using foul language. The parking situation is ridiculous. The spots are extremely tight, and the layout forces you to back out directly into traffic since backing in isn't allowed. The location itself is poor--you're subjected to loud bass-heavy music from passing cars all night long. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I cannot stress this enough: do not stay here. If I could give zero stars, I would.
