Ok went here around Christmas time in 2023 with 3 friends of mine staff and food increadable

My Daughter and I always enjoyed a meal here at 211 Main, whether inside or out we love the decor of the place, Good food & friendly service sometimes they have live music which is cool to enjoy there a tad cramped in the corner by the bar but they make it work. Two Eleven Main is a very welcome, long overdue addition to the Port Dover strip. Breaking out of local glut of tired perch and chip spots, the restaurant is a great change of pace. The menu had an extensive selection of Pizzas, Pastas and Sandwiches. My wife and I ordered the chicken melt, and chicken burger respectively which seem to vary only by pretzel bun and addition of bacon on the burger. The food tasted fresh and the apple and brie combo paired perfectly with the salted pretzel bun. The side caesar was well done however I could have done without the soft, untoasted crostini. The decor and atmosphere of 211 make this a great place to come for dinner or drinks after a day at the beach. read more

Beautiful decor ! Can't wait to try this place in the summer and sit on the beautiful tiered patio! Best spinach artichoke dip I've ever had in my life! Garlicky. Cheesey. Yum. Perch was very good. Very crispy. The coleslaw was excellent but the smallest thimble of coleslaw I've ever seen! Would have liked a larger portion of slaw. The fries were fresh cut but they were meh ... Just got takeout two orders fish my 9 month old cockatoo wouldn't eat r left overs cold fries fish was cold

I really liked the buffalo cauliflower and would alone give those 4 stars. We also had a pizza with a bunch of cheese and arugula and sauce (simple) but I was disappointed . Maybe we should have had something else instead. It was nice, nothing to complain about, except I thought it was a lot to pay for what we got. read more

Wonderful casual, yet trendy restaurant in Port Dover! They have an amazing leveled patio, so everyone has good views of Main Street. We stuck to the appetizers, which was full with different types of goodies. We ended up with Fried Calamari ( delicious and fresh) the batter was great, Buffalo and Spinach and Artichoke Dip (Out of the two we preferred the Spinach and Artichoke), Truffle Fries, and Perch Tacos! The Perch Tacos ($7 per taco) are a must because Port Dover is known for their perch. I thought the appetizer menu was wonderful and more intriguing than the other part of the menu. It was filled with lots of sandwiches and some other main dishes. It seems like for dinner this place gets packed, so I would suggest calling ahead. I would definitely come back here for the vibe and food. A must in Port Dover! read more

Poor service. We ordered sangria, more than half the pitcher is ice. Pink diluted fuzzy something. We didn't want it. Asked the waitress to send it back, she has to ask the manager.. the waitress came back a few min later and said no as it would be a waste!! $15 double smoked burger, came in half burned and tasteless with about 12 fries on the side. Decided to try a new place last Saturday with a group of friends. Drinks were fine, and decent atmosphere. I am sure it is even better in the summertime on the patio. Place wasn't that busy really, however food was not up to par with the prices. Charging $30-$35 for an 8oz steak special with no seasoning at all (not even salt and pepper) with some old fries is not worth it at all in my books. I expected Port Dover prices, but not worth it at all in my opinion. Better places to go for the same price point. read more

We had lunch here on a rainy summer afternoon. The food was very tasty (cajun chicken sandwich with salad and vegetarian quesadilla with sweet potato fries). The food was quality, for sure! The only slight negative was that some of the staff were a little stressed in the beginning (as many tables moved inside to avoid rain) but they cheered up after a bit! I've only been here once but this is a pretty good restaurant. The menu had a lot of options to choose from, and the service was great as well. I went with a hamburger and it was really good. I think the only downside is the price, it's more expensive than other restaurants in that area. But if you want to relax on the patio and do some people watching, then this place is a good option. read more

Its good enough food if there is nothing else open. Most stuff Ive had here is just poorly seasoned or poorly cooked all while being served by awful wait staff. I wouldn't go back til they get their stuff together. Its in Port Dover but you d think the way it is there it may as well be in a small town ealton. I'm updating this review since the long service time waits have been fixed! The burgers are incredible, prices are reasonable, and the patio is lovely. Only complaint? The hostess that we usually get seems completely clueless as to what tables are ready/reserved/available soon. After reviewing other non flattering reviews we wanted to try this place... Happened to be Mexican night.. Very pleased with our meal and service... I highly recommend the artichoke and spinach dip! Our mains were chicken quesadilla and a double bacon cheese burger on a pretzel bun.. One dish polished off and the other in a doggy bag! Loved the decor! Would definitely go back! read more

Had lunch today at this restaurant and have to say it isn't my favorite. Had the lunch special of crispy chicken Caesar wrap which was beyond dry. Hubby had the same thing and resorted to the vinegar to moisten the flour wrap since the small dap of ketchup for the fries had long dried up. I didn't want to ask the only server to bring me more ketchup so I used my lemon from my ice tea when the slice on the plate ran out. Had ice tea with a refill but was definitely not worth the $40 bucks we paid, not including tip. Live in Oregon so will most likely not be back, anyway to this restaurant while in Port Dover. read more

Great addition to downtown Dover! There are so many restaurants popping up in Port Dover lately. It's hard to keep track and frankly I can't be bothered to check our every new hipster joint that makes a summer time appearance However I was in town for lunch with a friend yesterday and sh suggested we try out Two Eleven Main. We sat on the patio which is great. A cute two level with iron tables and chairs. A little cramped but certainly comfy and great for Main St. people watching. Service was prompt and friendly, no faults there. The menu was pretty extensive with quite a few classic selections and a few fancier options to test out as well. I satisfied my perch craving with the perch sliders. They were a little more frou frou than I prefer , breads instead of battered and topped with slaw, but I enjoyed them just fine. The tarter sauce was a creamy tangy goodness and I ordered an extra side for more dipping :). I had fries and gravy as my side and oh my my, they were some mighty fine fries and gravy. Fresh cut fries and pre-sprinkled with rock salt. The gravy was thick and hot, oh ya. I was really impressed and hope this gem stays around. read more

Friendly upscale atmosphere with table and bar seating. Ordered the perch dinner which the Port Dover area is famous for. The food was well presented and came out quickly, however I thought the perch might be pan fried but it was deep fried. The filets were small and as such quite overlooked and dry. Went in with two others, everyone ordered an appetizer and main. A few cocktails and a couple of bottles of wine were had as well. Except for the steak everything was great. Our server dealt with the steak and we ended up very happy. I would highly recommend this place when in Port Dover. read more
