    chicken burger, side caesar.
    Sean C.

Two Eleven Main is a very welcome, long overdue addition to the Port Dover strip. Breaking out of local glut of tired perch and chip spots, the restaurant is a great change of pace. The menu had an extensive selection of Pizzas, Pastas and Sandwiches. My wife and I ordered the chicken melt, and chicken burger respectively which seem to vary only by pretzel bun and addition of bacon on the burger. The food tasted fresh and the apple and brie combo paired perfectly with the salted pretzel bun. The side caesar was well done however I could have done without the soft, untoasted crostini. The decor and atmosphere of 211 make this a great place to come for dinner or drinks after a day at the beach.

    Spinach artichoke dip. Smells delish!

Beautiful decor ! Can't wait to try this place in the summer and sit on the beautiful tiered patio! Best spinach artichoke dip I've ever had in my life! Garlicky. Cheesey. Yum. Perch was very good. Very crispy. The coleslaw was excellent but the smallest thimble of coleslaw I've ever seen! Would have liked a larger portion of slaw. The fries were fresh cut but they were meh ... I think they had been in the fridge too long. Will definitely be back!

    The so called sangria

Poor service. We ordered sangria, more than half the pitcher is ice. Pink diluted fuzzy something. We didn't want it. Asked the waitress to send it back, she has to ask the manager.. the waitress came back a few min later and said no as it would be a waste!! $15 double smoked burger, came in half burned and tasteless with about 12 fries on the side. Will never be back.

Amazing new spot in Port Dover. Food was excellent and drinks were cold. Recommend the mussels or perch tacos, and a spicy caesar!

The Perch Tacos ($7 per taco) are a must because Port Dover is known for their perch.

Walking…read morethrough the rain, we stumbled upon the Bramble Gastropub and noticed they had plenty of spots at the bar. Success! I was immediately impressed when I walked inside, as the place has plenty of cool decor and boasts a dimly-lit feel that I find irresistible. As I scanned the menu, I was eventually drawn to the Bramble Burger ("House ground, Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickle, Bramble berry relish"), which comes with fries. And I feel like I made the right choice because it's one tasty hamburger. I wouldn't rank it with the best in the city, but all the components were right on target and I enjoyed the heck out of it. The fries were great, too. I don't know why it took us so long to check out Bramble Gastropub, but I think it's safe to say we'll be returning sometime very soon.

The fish and chips were overdone, I have never had fish a much deeper dark brown than the fries, which were golden. The fries were way-oversized potato wedges, which don't work well as fries. The tartar sauce and pickled cabbage were delicious along with the mushy peas. My girlfriend had the Cobb salad with chicken which was passable but not special. The service was prompt and drinks were perfect.

The appetizers (calamari, mozza sticks, and wings) were great! Very solid choices although personally the wings (medium) were a little too sweet for us. Service was ok but the waitress did seem a bit stressed. The mains, however, were a bit disappointing. The burgers were just ok, my halloumi in the halloumi salad was burnt (although the salad itself was great), and the children's cheese sandwich was also burnt. The fish & chips were very oily. Usually I really want to like and rate local establishments well as I am a local myself, but burnt food is a no-no and unfortunately with kids I don't really have the time to ask for a remake. Great vibes for a good beer though.
