This was our first stop in Nashville on a bachelorette trip and it did not disappoint! We literally hopped off a plane and ubered here and the host allowed us to leave our luggage in a secluded spot. I thought this was nice. The food was AMAZING! I ordered the ever popular lemon poppyseed waffle and man, this is something I'd love to eat over and over! The marscapone was a great touch. Barely needed any syrup! My favorite was the hash brown, believe it or not. It was perfectly crispy and seasoned. I tried their lavender lemonade to drink and this was just sweet enough! I've dinned here for both menus and would gladly go back to either, but dinner was extra special with their live music on Sat nights at 6:30pm. Two hands is one of my favorite brunch spots in NYC and I'm extremely happy it has made its way to Nashville!! Food and service 10/10!! We had Christopher as our waiter and funny story, we recognized him because we remembered him and his great service at another restaurant we ate at. He was the best! Came for brunch and every item was incredible. Chili fries - must get!! The chili garlic crisp just makes the fries that much better. Avocado toast - great portion, super fresh avocado. Love the greens and pickled onions on top. They let you pick the style of your egg so I got sunny side up. Iced lavender latte - coffee is fire!! Very tasty and tit was not too sweet. Parking - I'm sooooo glad they validate parking in a lot on the side! Parking in this side of town is almost impossible. Kudos! read more

Super cute breakfast / brunch spot. Lots of sunlight and open space. The menu concept does an excellent job with creating diverse items for brunch / breakfast. Quality of food was also very good, everything felt made to order and fresh. Their beverage menu was also very in-depth which I loved, especially for brunch from matches, coffees, and teas. I will say the matcha is more milky, I wish it was a better quality matcha. But, glad they offer it. They also had a full bar menu as well! Service was also very quick and friendly. I do wish the portion sizes were a bit bigger for the price. I was visiting Nashville and compared to other portion sizes I have had throughout the city I think for the price they could step it up a bit! Came to two hands based on the recommendation who has been to the location in NYC. I'm so glad I listened to her and gave this place a shot! To start, there is free parking in the lot next door behind the Voorhees lot. (You'll see signs that say "Two Hands Parking"). You will need to go through and use the the app and put your credit card in. However, once you get to the restaurant, they will have a validation QR code, which will make the bill online turn to $0. It's free parking for 2.5 hours, which was more than enough time. Now to the favorite part- the ambiance, service, and food! The ambiance boast a trendy casual vibe. I will say that the service here is attentive and incredible! When I got seated, I ordered a strawberry matcha latte. I am lactose intolerant and forgot to mention that I wanted oat milk to the waiter. I flagged him down later and asked if it was too late to change my order. He immediately went and got my order fixed. I really appreciated this and was able to enjoy my drink without worry! As for the taste of the drink and food, the strawberry matcha latte was very well balanced and unique. The matcha was blended with strawberry milk, which was a cool take! For the main entree, I got the B.E.K. roll with the side of a hash brown. The B.E.K. roll was a bit messy (so be prepared), but delicious! The bacon was my favorite part about this dish. The hash browns unfortunately were a little dry, but the hot sauce made up for this, and more! Overall, great experience and brunch place. Two Hands somehow flew under my Nashville restaurant bucket list and after going, I'm sad that it took me this long to discover it. Everything from the coffee to the lemon poppyseed waffle was amazing. For a beverage, I ordered a cold brew with oat milk. The coffee was robust and flavorful and paired very well with the creamy oat milk. We started with an order of the banana walnut bread which was delicious. The bread itself was rich and dense. Just one small slice of it was filling. The espresso flavor in the mascarpone was very subtle -- had I not seen it on the menu description, I wouldn't have known. The finely chopped walnuts added a nice crunch to each bite, and the drizzle of honey rounded out the flavor profile well. For my entree, I ordered the lemon poppyseed waffle and a side of scrambled eggs. The waffle was a masterpiece both in presentation and taste. The waffle was slightly sweet with a hint of lemon -- I'm not a huge fan of lemon flavoring, so I was glad that it was very subtle. The poppyseed added a familiar layer and texture to each bite. The generous layer of vanilla mascarpone over half of the waffle elevated the waffle to an almost dessert-level of sweetness (I have a 24/7 sweet tooth, so I didn't mind). The side of maple syrup took it a step farther in the sweetness department, but I still didn't find it to be too sweet. The fresh strawberries added a welcome tang and freshness to what was otherwise a very indulgent dish, although I had no regrets cleaning my plate. The scrambled eggs were lightly salted and cooked perfectly -- they made for the perfect savory accompaniment to the waffle. I really liked the atmosphere inside and the service was great. Disclaimer: This review is from Super Bowl Sunday. I just hate writing bad reviews. It's also extremely long but it felt necessary to say. So, first off we were under the impression that we had reservations because my friend had called twice to be put on the reservation list that morning. When we got to the restaurant, we were informed by the hostess ( also manger it seems) that we did not have a reservation, and we were actually only on the waitlist, no biggie! It just seemed a little odd to me though, considering that the people in front of us were a walk in and got seated immediately, so her stressing that we needed the reservation we thought we had was a little confusing but we were just ready to sit down and eat. We finally get our table, get situated, and order. My friend ordered a iced latte and it came out hot accidentally. A quick fix. We got our food! It looked great, I was excited. First bite in, I noticed this was a very salty burger. I took a second bite and just realized it was a little too strong to just "power" through. So I told the waitress and asked if I could switch it out for anything else same price or less, we did. Here is where the problem really begins. I do not know exactly how much time went by exactly, but it was a decent amount of time. Enough for my friend to finish her food, and us continue waiting. I still had not received my food, nor had my waitress came to give any sort of update. Being that it was Super Bowl Sunday (sorry again, late review) we both had plans after so I just didn't want to spend anymore time there, and it hadn't been the best experience. So when the waitress came back we asked for the checks. The first thing was she said was ""Well I can't take off the burger. You have to pay." I said ok, and that we had somewhere to be. (at this point I'm ready to run out of there, the whole vibe just felt so unwelcome) Well my friend asked to speak to the manager. Because keep in mind all I've had is 2 bites of a salty burger and the replacement food has not arrived yet. The manger arrives. We start telling her what's going on. As we are mid conversation the waitress start bringing over the replacement food and saying "well it's here now." Words were exchanged and the manger was just as condescending and rude as the employee. She centered the entire conversation and "apology" around the fact that clearly we had a bad experience from the jump because of the reservation hiccup from when we walked in, and she kept bringing that up when that was not the issue all. She said she was going to do some investigating and talk to the kitchen to figure out what was going on, which, at this point, I would rather have just paid because I had said from the beginning I had to go. After she came out and was condescending for another two minutes, the general manager, who I assume had just showed up and gotten informed on what was going on, swooped in like a magical fairy. She is the only reason that this place gets two stars from me honestly. She came up, actually treated us like human beings, apologized and offered to fix the problem. So whoever you are, thank you so much. Under your management I'm sure things will get better. read more

This place seems to be more well known for brunch but this review is for their dinner. First off, I appreciate that they offer free parking because parking near the gulch can be pricey. The parking lot is behind the Bill Voorhees building, which is a little hard to find because of all the construction happening, so you think that you're going the wrong way. But it helps that they have signs up at the entrance of the parking lot in case you get lost. The restaurant itself is very cozy, and we were seated very quickly. Our server was very friendly and recommended the tamarind soy chicken and the turmeric chickpea dahl, which was going to be taken off the menu for the next month. The food was delicious, and the chickpea dahl paired very well with the chicken. The food is made to order so we were warned that the chicken takes longer to make. We would definitely come back to try their brunch menu. read more

I took a client who is an observant Kosher Jew to Two Hands in the Gulch for Lunch. Knowing they are observant, I called ahead and spoke to the Manager Victoria and explained the situation. She assured me that they could absolutely accommodate, but went one step further. My guest ordered a Parve selection, and not only did they plate her food on disposable dishware, they served the entire party that way in order to make her more comfortable. I had Two Hands as a Welcome Party spot the night before my wedding. The staff was beyond helpful in the planning process as well as the day of. We were able to eat a family dinner before the party and then for the party there was a variety of small bites and drinks for people to order from. They truly went above and beyond to make the evening special. They printed our menus with our names, and the staff walked around handing out drinks. We were able to customize a playlist for the event as well. As I was walking around chatting with guests, the servers packed up some desserts for me and my husband later since we were so busy we had no time to eat anything. I ordered the breakfast burrito and the brown sugar cinnamon latte with oat milk. My fiancé got the two hands burger and the taro latte with an espresso shot and oat milk. I made a reservation well in advance because of the reviews and the size of our group. I was able to secure a table for 12 on a Friday for brunch. THs is within walking distance of the JW hotel and near some fun shopping. We were sat to the left of the front door at one long table near the window and this worked out so perfectly! plenty of space and lovely little corner to ourselves. Patrick was our server and he was amazing! He was on top of all our orders and kept the beverages and food flowing. We started with cocktails and cafes of mimosas - delish. The Boozy Lavender Lemonade - divine! We ordered two crispy chili fries for the table and they got demolished instantly. I think we ordered a third lol slightly spicy shoe string fries.. yum! I had the TH Seasonal Scramble - It was beautiful and delish! If you are a cilantro lover - the cilantro salad on top was perfection.
