We stopped in for Sunday brunch! There is attached garage parking but the validation wasn't working so had to eat the cost of parking unfortunately. Our sever was new but he had great energy and was very enthusiastic. One of my friends has a gluten allergy & is sensitive to egg/heavy dishes so he was diligent in checking on ingredients and substitutions for her. That said, they did not have a lot of options for her. I get it, weird dietary needs, but the kitchen's lack of substitution flexibility for allergies was surprising. It was a really nice day out so we had marked in our reservation that we wanted patio seating with a view. We were seated at a standard height half-booth table that did not have a view over the railing so it was kind of a waste. The booth material was also cracked/peeling along the seam so it was pinching my thighs (I was wearing a dress) and was uncomfortable. The food was just okay. It's definitely on the pricier side for brunch in Nashville, albeit probably in line for 12S. My partner's French toast was little burnt. The best thing was the truffle parm fries, but mainly because of the dipping sauce. I had the Beverly Club but it wasn't anything special and a little pricy for what it is. For a $160+ lunch I honestly expected a bit better from the food. And in these temps the patio should receive quicker service. I made a reservation for two on open table for their standard/indoor seating and was seated outside on their covered patio. I didn't mind too much initially but it's always best to stick to the patrons initial reservation specifications because it ended up being a 90min experience in 90+ degrees (weather app says it feels like 97) Had service been quicker for a simple lunch things could have been so much better. We had our drink and food orders already ready for Jessi when he first arrived at our table! Waters, their espresso martini for me and a beer for him. The drinks came out relatively quickly. The food took quite a bit longer. I ordered the Caesar with chicken, he ordered Ahi Tuna Crudo and we had truffle fries to share. The Tuna Crudo was spot on. The truffle fries tasted good in flavor but the actual fry reminded me of the frozen ones you can get at the grocery store. There is no actual truffle, just truffle oil. The crouton in the salad is treacherous!! Not forkable or even the potential to cut it in half. My hand actually shook trying to handle it and I do not want to imagine what it would have done to the roof of my mouth. I abandoned it halfway through. The chicken was plated beautifully in the salad but was extremely dry and what I can only assume was half a breast or a thin tenderloin. The dressing was excellent though! I ordered another martini and we ordered the Butter cake dessert to share and it was phenomenal. The dessert was truly the star of the show. I want to note that our Server Jessi was extremely kind and made us feel so comfortable. It was a true joy speaking with him and getting his recommendations on surrounding establishments to try. Ultimately I would not come here again for anything other than cocktails or dessert. Vibe was fun and alive. A bit on the loud side but good food and staff were great. I had the tasty fresh ahi salad w/ a cold glass of Pinot Grigio. My hubby had a delicious cheeseburger he scarfed in seconds. I barely got to taste it. We will be back. I came here for brunch on a Saturday and the experience was a bit forgettable. We started by ordering drinks including matcha and dirty chais, it probably took almost 30 minutes for drinks to come, they ended up arriving the same time as the food. The drinks were also not great, I was told the chais were bitter with the espresso and my matcha was overly milky, we had to send them all back and chose not to drink them. Now the food was actually really good, my eggs were packed with flavor and the potatoes were nice and crispy. I recently visited The Henry with a group of friends, and overall it was an interesting experience. I've been to both this location and the Dallas one before, so I went in expecting a reliably pleasant dinner. Parking was a bit confusing for some of my friends, but once we arrived, things moved quickly. After checking in with the hostess, we were seated right away, and our server was reasonably attentive throughout the evening. We started with the spicy tuna on crispy rice--clearly inspired by Nobu's signature dish. It was a solid interpretation, though the rice leaned a bit too oily and could have used more seasoning to really bring it to life. For drinks, our group ordered an Old Fashioned and one of the featured cocktails. The Old Fashioned was a hit, but the cocktail fell a little flat--so a bit of a mixed bag there. For my entrée, I ordered the roasted chicken frites. The chicken itself was cooked properly, but the skin was unfortunately quite soggy, likely due to the garlic sauce. It also seemed like the dish may have sat in the service window for a bit before reaching the table, which didn't help. There was also an overwhelming amount of sauce--so much so that the fries were completely soaked and lost their texture. The few fries that weren't drenched paired really well with the truffle aioli, which was a highlight. My friends ordered the Bolognese and the Wagyu cheeseburger, and both described their meals as fine, but not memorable enough to warrant a return visit. Service: service overall was very friendly, attentive, & efficient. We never felt rushed & the food & drinks came out quickly with the pre-fixe menu. We did wait a little while past our reservation time but of course it was packed being Valentine's. Food: food was really good! Casual upscale, good quality, & good portion sizes. We were there celebrating my friend's birthday, and it was the right spot, The service was amazing--they surprised the birthday girl at our table with a free dessert, which was thoughtful. My salmon entrée was incredible, easily one of the best meals I've had in a while. I was taking notes! The Christmasy vibes were fantastic and made the whole night feel extra special. They also have great bathrooms. And I believe they validate parking in the back. The only downside was that, despite having a reservation for quite a while, we were seated on the ground floor, which was a bit disappointing given how nice the rest of the space is. So much potential but it's just ok.There's two levels a restaurant on the top level and a lounge on the bottom. We sat at the bar - waiting for our table. We were seated for over ten minutes with no attempt to take our drink order. It should have been an indication of the experience to come. We had a dinner reservation at the same time of others. We seemed to be the "lucky"ones to be seated back at the bar area. The front and back area of restaurant definitely seemed to be keep a certain "image". We ordered the wagyu burger and rigatoni pasta. The food was lacking in finesse and execution. The pasta was overcooked was tempted to send it back. It's a chain restaurant that seems to be operating on the tails of a busy restaurant scene. The place is more about the image than the food. My meal was the Rigatoni Vodka which was ok, I think I can make better at home. Only thing special was the burrata on top which could have melted a bit more. The appetizer pf Brussels sprouts was the best part of the meal. The drinks were good, I got the spritz which was pretty good. Allergies beware!!! I have a nut allergy and sooooo much not theme has nuts. Both deserts we ordered were topped or covered in nuts. The lemon olive oil cake was topped with almonds, we were given the name "fudge pie" and it was actually a peanut brittle esque crust with peanuts as a topping and a "garnish" of peanut sauce covering the entire bottom of the plate. I've come to the Henry twice now and both experiences have been good. The space is beautiful with an antique, European style pub downstairs and a nice restaurant and patio space upstairs. The food and service have been good both times, and there are plenty of options available for whatever food/drink preference you may have. It is pricey, so I would save this for a special ocassion. The soup was not contained/wrapped up properly and spilled all over the bag and my car. I would go back here but probably just for the crispy rice. The singular staff member there seemed to not be prioritizing the customers in the restaurant because he was pretty focused on socializing with someone who seemed to be a personal friend at the bar... it was kind of weird to watch. The Burgundy Bar is absolutely gorgeous, and the whole place has this effortlessly stylish vibe that fits right into the 12 South neighborhood. The strip is a must. It's more moody with the lighting and darker tones. The service was excellent. She checked on the table throughout the night and wasn't intrusive. Good timing. Food took forever (entrees). The parmesan truffle fries were good, but by comparison to the AZ location they fell flat. The mocktail spritz I got was really good. Unfortunately, the bolognese here is nothing like the AZ location. It lacks truffle flavor and the sauces were bland. The gluten free key lime tart was honestly incredible though. Great vibe and setting "Patio" area will be awesome in the Spring/summer (it's January now) with retractable sides and retractable ceiling. It will really open up and be really cool. Cons A couple dishes were a bit over season. I suspect they're items on the menu that have a lot of spice in them, but not outlined on the menu. This is a real pet peeve of mine. We did tell the server we don't like spicy and she accommodated us. I'd ask my old-fashioned be made a specific way and the bartender got it about 80% there but don't feel as if he really paid attention to what I asked for. At $19 for an old-fashioned, I expected to be made perfectly. Bottom line: I would definitely return. read more

Our first time at The Henry, nice open space. Our service was amazing. We got there for a late brunch, early dinner. Started off with cocktails, I got the strawberry spritz. I really liked my drink, so I had a few of those. The other ladies weren't a fan of their drinks, the Bloody Mary was sweet and the espresso martini wasn't the best. Got a few appetizers, truffle fries were fine, we didn't like their crispy rice as much because the rice was thick and just a bit of tuna. We really didn't like the potstickers because the meat was mushy, but the potsticker itself was cooked perfectly. We shared our entrées as well. We got the Korean skirt steak and that was alright. I got the scallops it was good, but it came out cold. The Bolognese was good, and we liked the braised short rib. We were disappointed with the macaroni and cheese. But we ended the meal perfectly with the Keylime tart Brûlée. That was our favorite dish. Really not our favorite place, but it wasn't bad. read more

Upstairs is very big and busy. It was hard to hear everyone in our group because a few of the tables were really loud. But it was still an enjoyable experience. I've had breakfast here and it was tasty and I've had lunch, which was also good. I didn't order anything exciting for lunch - just a bunless burger, fries, and wine. I used the pretzel's cheese dip for my fries and I would recommend :) everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and our party appreciates the GF items clearly labeled on the menu and especially that they have a dedicated GF fryer.
