Found this place to be average at best. They were out of several types of meat. It was during COVID19 so maybe that was an issue

Tried this restaurant based on other good reviews ; so, we had good / high expectations. We had a beef enchilada plate + tamale and a beef nachos plate. In both cases the beef was poor quality - ground beef was unseasoned and had a good deal of chewy connective tissue. The nachos were essentially ballpark variety - whitish runny processed type cheese, plain (and chewy) ground beef with lot of pan drippings collecting at the bottom of the plate, some pickled jalapeno slices. The enchilada plate was a bit better - excepting the chewy meat ; the tamale was probably the best part, it didn't have the same chewy ground beef - it did remind me of canned tamales but I don't mind those too much as long as I don't read the list of food additives and preservatives on the ingredient label. So, tried it once, that was enough. read more

There's no shortage of Mexican restaurants in Terrell, but this one is actually delicious! The taco salad is perfection, and they don't skimp on the avocado. The shredded steak quesadilla is super tasty - packed with perfectly seasoned shredded steak and lots of gooey cheese. Their salsas are always fresh and never disappoint. Excellent steak fajita tacos. Friendly staff. I also got the chicken and carnitas tacos (which weren't bad) but the steak fajita taco trumps these by far. Mild green salsa that's delicious. At Last - some Genuine Tacos in Terrell Finally - a real Taqueria in Terrell. Located in a little strip center by the Home Depot just off the highway, this comfortable little place is dishing out some good authentic Mexican food, at pretty good prices. Al Pastor, Barbacoa & Carnitas - all the things I look for from my home town of San Antonio. Shredded Chicken & Steak tostadas are one of my favorites. Perfectly seasoned, with your choice of Salsa Verde or Rojo - made in house with just the right amount of kick. They have a drive-thru, but the inside has plenty of room and the girls who work here are friendly and helpful, and there's usually plenty of parking. As I go to Home Depot almost every day, I know I'll be coming here quite often to get my Taco Fix. This ain't Taco Bell, so if you're looking for that kind of stuff, I'm afraid this place will be disappointing - but if genuine Mexican food cooked when you order it is your thing, this is the place! read more

Two Jalapeño has great Hispanic food, I've eaten here for years. Just recently though, they decided to charge you separately for a Togo drink... who does that? The choices they've made have impacted my appearance at the place, also they got even more stingy and raised the prices on some of the items. All in all, very good food, but I think they made some very poor choices recently. read more

Best tacos ever! This is small, 'hole in the wall' restaurant in a tiny strip mall. I ordered pork, chicken and steak street tacos with sautéed onions. Best street tacos I've ever had. It came with a grilled jalapeño pepper, but I passed on eating it. Kids loved the queso and chips. Their salsa is also in the running for best I've had, good and spicy. My very picky family members got crunchy tacos with rice and beans and recommended the five star rating. Yum! A must try. read more

Pretty good little taco place in Terrell. I tried the chicken and carnitas, both of which were seasoned well and not dried out. Cilantro and onions add some great flavor, but I definitely prefer the onions to be the way you find them at most of the authentic street taco style joints, which is raw and diced, but the carmelized style here wasn't bad for a bit of a change. They brought a green sauce to our table which was okay - nothing special there. Price is great at $1.25 per taco, and they don't skimp on the fillings. Friendly service to boot. read more

My family has eaten here alot! Great food, low prices, quick and easy! We had not yet brought our 5 year old son to eat here, because mexican is not his favorite food. Fyi: if you happen to have a picky eating child that wants a crispy taco, be prepared to pay for the adult meal that they will only eat half of. The children's menu has tacos on it, although it does not specify hard or soft, yet they refused to let me order a child's portion of the hard taco without paying extra. Great, friendly staff with exceptionally fast service. I'm my opinion they have the best street tacos within 20 miles. The shredded fajita steak, and al pastor are my favorites. If I had to say anything negative it would be that you don't get free chips and salsa that you get at the other places in town that offer similar tacos and services. Overall great food though! This is my new Mexican food place for eating out. I got the 3 taco plate with shredded beef, oh my goodness they were delicious! I also got the chips and salsa, the salsa was a bit hot for my taste but some of the others in my group disagreed. The young gentleman at the register said that they made it fresh day to day and some days it is a little hotter than normal. I am ok with that because unlike Taco Bell this place doesn't need salsa added to the food to make it tasty. The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were good, I really have nothing negative to say about place. Give it a try. read more

Guacamole was outstanding! As were the carnitas. Easy on and off from I-20. Very affordable and the restaurant was kept clean.

Giving them 3 starts as the food is very good but they don't charge correct Tax. Bought 5 tacos (5 x 1.25 = 6.25) + tax rate is .0825 (.515) = $6.76 but they charged me $6.81. I tried to tell them but their little calculator said different. This is the second time they have charged the wrong tax. Probably won't go back. read more
