We were here last night. Food was Amazing!! Our server could have cared less about us being there. I recommend for the food but avoid this server.

Kitchen Sink Fries. If you end up with leftovers, they reheat amazingly well in an air fryer!

I don't know why all the 3 stars? Maybe it was their old location but as of this writing (7/19/25), they have a food truck in the parking lot of their new restaurant (while they remodel the place). The new restaurant looks pretty cool & they will have a bigger menu than what they have now. But what I had was freeeeeeking amazing. Like if you're not eating here, are you even living?! Nicest people working. Cook was on point both times I went. The honey garlic chicken sandwich was huge but more importantly it was fried to juicy perfection! So many crispy nubs iykyk. The sauce completed it & was crazy delicious. top tier fried chicken! So good I went back a few days later and had a double smashburger, which was on the special board. It was like a super smashburger- thicker and holy crap so so good. The fries were homemade and perfect. And my kids got The Kitchen Sink fries which is fries topped with their homemade mac n cheese (addictive) and crispy honey garlic chicken (cut into pieces). I wanted the pulled pork but I arrived too late & it was gone. I absolutely will drive an hour when they open their new place! I am salivating thinking about that chicken sandwich and the menu that I will eventually eat my way through!

I've only ever gotten takeout from this place but the wife and I decided to eat in and boy I'm glad we did. The service was wonderful our waitress was very helpful when it came to any questions we had about the menu I got the honey garlic Mac burrito and the wife got rotary garage burrito see the pictures just as we were leaving live music started up.

Local gem! Two Maine Guys hit the food scene in Augusta a couple years ago and have been crushing it ever since. Hearty portions, decent prices, daily specials and seasonal goodies. On my last trip I was in the mood for thanksgiving leftovers and Two Maine Guys did not disappoint. They had a thanksgiving wrap with all the trimmings and a side of gravy to dunk. I swear it weighed more than I did! Hearty and filling it was Thanksgiving in a tortilla! The service there is always friendly and fast. Usually one of the owners is around greeting customers. Place your order at the counter and it comes up fast and with a smile. They take cash and card and have a rewards promo too for frequent customers. The ambiance is casual and unassuming. Clean tables and floors, handicap accessible restrooms. They offer a changing selection of beers and canned ciders. They also have a cooler grab n go sodas, waters, and other drinks. They are known for their pulled pork, poutine, coleslaw and Mac n cheese. During a conversation with the cashier he was telling me people come from miles around for the pulled pork. In the summer there is also outside dining, live entertainment and they can be found around the state at local events serving up their amazing grub from their food truck. You won't leave hungry, I recommend if you're in the area and want some stick to your ribs honestly Maine fare.

Busy little grease shack. This place filled up quickly after we arrived and placed our order. This is a popular spot for fried seafood for the locals. We stopped here for lobster rolls since their restaurant profile indicates they serve lobster rolls. Well guess what? They did not have any to serve up so it seems they are not on their seasonal availability yet. Missed it by 2 more weeks so now we had to order fried whole belly clams a fried fish sandwich. I requested for my clams to be not well done (golden brown) Cashier responded we know how it should done, we sell a lot of whole belly clams here. Well from my experience any time I get a response like that no matter what dish it maybe in question I should just listen to my gut feeling and just forget that order because they always boast on the skills and they always f it up and the same for this experience. My clams came out over cook and burnt.

I love Fried Fish! These fish Tacos were awesome! So much flavor. Big portion. Batter was crispy, airy. The fish on both dishes were fresh, and flaky. A+. I mean I liked it so much I went back on my week vacation while I stayed not far from there in Vassalboro

Everything was over salted. Servings were ample but the salt ruined the experience. Next time I will be sure to ask to go light on the salt!

What are they famous for you ask? Well, seafood...of course. Specifically, the lobster roll. My boyfriend loves the lobster roll! I had the popcorn chicken basket with crinkle fries that I could eat everyday if given the choice. The seasoning and breading are just right & fried until golden brown without sacrificing safe cooking or flavor. Another one of those busy places-it's a restaurant that attracts locals and tourists. They've always got inspirational quotes on their marquee. Outdoor patio seating (tables with umbrellas) and a no-frills, basic interior decor. Gives total seaside vibes.

They have the option for ordering takeout Ahead of time or online. There is significant outdoor seatting as well as a small interior dining room. The interior has one non gender handicap, accessible bathroom. The menu is not excessive, but the portions are generous. CAUTION: pay close attention to the prices. they will fluctuate and you should not assume what the final cost of your meal will be beforehand!! My clam basket and my daughter's 1/4lb roll (2 20 Oz drinks) totaled $65!! Now I will absolutely give credit to them for the clam portion being large and high quality. These were the type of onion rings that I prefer, which are thinner and more crunchy with less batter. That said, the total completely blew my mind.Because even with a very industry standard upcharge for onion rings in place of french fries.I had sticker shock. I grew up near Portland so I understand the price of seafood can change quickly. But I would say do some price shopping. Because this is more about the experience of the location since the quality of food does exist at other restaurants. In maine.

The atmosphere of this wine shop is completely retro and fun. Great old records for sale, vintage clothes rack out back for some thrift shopping, fun and fresh bottles of wine to take home. We sat right at the bar next to the records were playing and the owner switched records frequently and always had something fun playing. The wine here was so much fun - as someone who works in wine sales it's always refreshing to see a bar changing what wines they serve and have something new open every day. They don't have a set wine list, i believe they just choose what they want when they want and display what they are serving by the glass on a shelf behind the bar. I love that idea so you can go often and always be able to try something new. I would have had some snacks along with my wine if we had not just come from lunch but i will definitely be back since this menu always changes with what is fresh. A great spot in this area and i'm excited to go back already.

So our dinner stop before heading to Boothbay was Five Islands Lobster. We arrived around 4pm, just before a dinner rush. Parking is tight, but you make do. I was able to find a spot to accommodate my care and the small packing trailer on the hitch. Once we were parked we made our way to the buildings. The one building you order your lobster, another building you order other items. It was a very easy and simple process. Between all of us there was so much lobster and other fine dining options. The lobster was fresh and sweet. It was very delicious. The lobster came with corn and potatoes. The butter was perfect! It had that foaming too I love! My husband enjoyed his fried haddock sandwich and the fried scallops. He raved about the fried scallops. The staff were great. They were kind, helpful and hard working. The view was stunning. I saw a loon and was able to adventure on the rocks during low tide. Overall this was a beautiful spot to start our Maine vacation. I highly recommend checking out Five Islands Lobster

We ordered 2 2lb lobsters, onion rings, and fried oysters. The lobster meat came right out of the shell (shout out to some man on the dock who helped us Marylanders with some verbal direction) and were full and flavorful! We are big crab eaters but it takes about 6 or more XL crabs to feel as full as we did with one lobster! The onion rings and oysters were perfectly fried and just as delicious. The oysters came with fries (which explains the ketchup) as well and all were large portions. It was the perfect location too! Not noisy, beautiful scenery, and just all around a great atmosphere.
