Hiring movers might have been the best decision for our move. I've never hired movers before but now I think I always will. The crew was professional, and nice to talk to about how things were going to proceed throughout the day. They carefully moved everything out and back into place at the new house perfectly. They took care of everything and did it quickly. I can't imagine how long it would've took us to do it by ourselves or with friends. So now this company offered me a settlement, which it's actually what they had over charged me for services that I did not receive, nothing to recompense for the lousy service I received. This was on 8/19 and to this date 8/27 I still have not received the "settlement" I was offered. I have emailed the manager and was told it was getting taken care of on Tuesday and I'm still waiting. Multiple gouges in a brand new floor, then coerced and elderly customer by lying to sign a release of liability

This place might legitimately be a scam. They cancelled my move Monday morning "due to truck issues," and asked to reschedule. I had to take an additional day off of work, and drive between my old and new apartment (Buffalo to Rochester, and Rochester back to Buffalo) because they couldn't make the day work. When the guys showed up to move me the next day, they told me that they didn't do the job yesterday "because Rob never showed up." So strike one, they lied about why the job was cancelled. Strike two, when they cancelled, I was told the regional manager is OOO, so they can't tell me what kind of discount I'd be able to receive for the inconvenience. They did take $15/hour off of my quote, but that only saved me $75 for an inconvenience that cost me hundreds. I expected the regional manager to show an iota of respect and give me a call the next day, even if it was just to say that they couldn't do more than that, but she never did. Not to mention, I was originally going to move on a Monday, and they charge more for Mondays anyway, so really all they did was bring me down to regular Tuesday pricing. Strike three, in order to let the movers go about the rest of their day, I had to pay the quoted price. I wasn't about to hold them hostage to get my discount, so Rick in Buffalo told me that he'd have Nicole (regional manager) call me and discuss the possibility of a refund. I've called to ask when I can expect to hear from Nicole about 3 times now and left detailed messages, and no one has gotten back to me. This is a terribly run company. I requested help moving a washer and dryer from the basement of my home to the 1st floor. We put down the $100 deposit and scheduled the movers to come. The day they were supposed to come I waited the full 2 hours window for them to show up. Nobody ever showed. So I called the office 716-258-7074 to find out if they were running late. They told me I called and cancelled the appointment and my card was refunded. Funny thing was, I absolutely did not call to cancel. I spent an hour on the phone between the sales guy and the manager on and off hold. They listened to the call of whoever called to cancel and learned it was not me, and was a mistake on their end. Someone called to cancel and they cancelled my appointment by mistake. I asked them to knock some money off to accommodate my wasted time and the inconvenience of going another day without having laundry. When I first spoke to the manager I explained the situation and he said hey no problem, we can send 3 guys out the next day and waive to 2 hour minimum. Then when I said it back to him to make sure I understood the new deal, he said hang on and put me on hold again. When he came back on he said he misunderstood the situation and they actually could not give me any accommodations at all. They fought tooth and nail and said it was against the law to discount moving services. I was bounced between the manager and the sales guy. Eventually we came to an agreement for them to waive the 2 hour minimum fee. They said it would absolutely take more than 2 hours so waiving it wouldn't do me much good, and I said that was fine. At least it felt like they were owning their mistake and giving me something to make up for the inconvenience. The mover guys came to the house and they were pleasant and did a good job moving the washer and dryer. When they got there they said hey reminder there is a 2 hour minimum. I said well I worked it out so that the 2 hour minimum would be waived for me due to the mess up on their part cancelling my original appointment. They said it didn't sound right but that we would figure it out. Then when it came time to check out they said the job took 1 hour and 15 minutes, but they could not waive the 2 hour minimum. I was in the middle of working and did not have time to call and battle over the phone again. I paid the full $375. I see the company answers all the reviews on here and says to call the office. I am not wasting another minute talking to you guys. Please refund me $100 to the card on file for the cost it should have been + the time I wasted waiting and talking to you on the phone. I was told movers would arrive between 8 AM and 12 PM. No one showed up, and nobody answered calls all morning. When I finally got through after 12, I was told my move had been pushed back four hours -- with zero notification. Spoke to someone named Alex who was argumentative and dismissive, blaming me for the miscommunication. I had to send proof that I received no update. Instead of apologizing or helping, he made the situation worse. This move was already stressful, and they made it worse. I canceled and asked for my deposit back. Terrible company. Hired them to facilitate a move for my daughter. Charged my credit card almost $800 two months after the move even though the entire balance was paid at the completion of the move. Posted a review on another site, corporate contacted me and said to contact them immediately to resolve. They agreed I was double charged and promised to post a credit in 7-10 business days. That was two months ago. They never put anything in writing as they are dodgy. And they never return your calls. They have an F rating on BBB for a reason. They showed up on time and immediately went to work. Was moving from a two bedroom apartment to another two bedroom (both on floor 2) about 6.3 miles away. Got the entire apartment boxed and shipped in less than 4 hrs. Very efficient and precise, asked where items went as they were bringing items from the old apartment into the new one. Great experience using them and it was last minute on our part, and they still completed it all in very little time. 5/5 stars. read more

we had a messy, emergency move after a car went through my Aunts apartment and called Two Men and a Truck with very short notice. The saved us by coming and packing the two undamaged rooms and a closet. they were friendly and professional, careful and quick! Packed on Tuesday morning, completely and thoughtfully moved on Wednesday morning! It certainly reduced our stress levels and we will gladly recommend them to everyone. UPDATE: Finally heard back from a manager, Brian, who was accusatory and rude. He said he planned to offer $160 for all the issues but decided not to because of this review. Said I was trying a "money grab" because I didn't call with issues in the middle of the move, instead calling the second they opened the next day. I've used professional movers half a dozen times in my life for major moves and Two Men and a Truck was that worst experience I've ever had by a country mile. The workers themselves were friendly and seemed to be doing their best, but they were just obviously very inexperienced. In short, I hired them for a local move, had innumerable problems, tried to contact them to resolve the issue and they never even responded to phone calls, emails, or voicemails. It was so bad, I started taking notes of the issues. I will copy and paste those here. - Broke storm door actuator. - Scratched bookcase, table, washer, dryer, floor in bedroom, and plaster in hallway. - Scratched leather chairs - Lost foot for couch and stripped bolts on two more. - Incredibly slow, longer than maximum estimate even with no boxing and more than half the boxes included in the estimate I personally transported the day before. The time to wrap a single item was longer than I've seen other movers wrap and pack all furniture in the entire house. - Scratched front door and damaged molding. - Slammed back door into plaster in hallway damaging it. - Unable to disassemble bed frame and still in house. - Left many items without alerting or asking, despite specifically asking to be called, including dresser, all standing lamps, kitchen cart, dehumidifier, all dress shoes, all ties, comforter pillows and linens, office rug, and scuba equipment. - Took ACs but left all windows open. - When I called to check in they had already left and were out getting lunch. - Truck broke down blocking neighbors driveway for hours. I have used this company before and never had any problem so i hired them to move me in October 2024. Well the three guys were good but my furniture was damaged. I asked them to file a claim for me. Well it never got filed and y accident their manager found it. She tried to fix my furiture and it was just taking too long. I did request that that they have a professional come to my home to complete the job. I did call the company and was informed they do not fix furniture. I asked the BBB to get involved. WOMEN SHOULD BE CAUTIOUS of hiring this company unless you're looking to go on a date with one of the drivers (read below). To start, I was charged $200 more than I was quoted. It turned out that the movers went to McDonald's in between locations and I was charged for that time. I was refunded $58 for it, but it doesn't sit right with me that they essentially tried to scam me. The other $150 is unexplained at this point. Next, the drivers lost an item of mine. It was only worth about $50 but I'd prefer they didn't lose my property. They are unable to locate it. And now the biggest issue of them all. After they over charged me and the operations person I spoke to on the phone refused to honor my quoted price, after I still tipped them over $100, and after they asked me to rate them 5 stars so they could all get bonuses, I received an inappropriate text message to my personal phone from one of the drivers. I think it goes without saying that this is extremely unprofessional. It also makes me very uncomfortable knowing this complete stranger has all of my contact information now. This was 3 weeks ago to the day. I have called and emailed numerous times to get this resolved. I've spoken to two women (Julie and Randi) that I hoped would sympathize and try to help me, to no avail. I was told on September 3rd by Randi that management would reach out to me, no one has contacted me. This company has no integrity. I'm sure they're great to work with if everything with your move happens to go smoothly. But if you experience any issues, they will take your money and dodge your calls and emails. Let's start with their late arrival, then upon arrival they drove into my neighbors lawn that was roped off as they were having concrete laid and the driver cracked the drain pipe. During the move they were very slow, not prepared, referencing YouTube on how to take down bed frames, unable to remove drawers and I had to show them. We moved literally down the street where during the unloading process they lost the hardware, scratched floors, banisters, walls, broke knobs and drawers. Again referencing YouTube for how to set up bed frames. Dragged a box spring across hardwood floors. At the end they tried to charge me extra for time. We settled on that NOT happening given they had to deal with the concrete contractors from the neighbors and they were unprepared. I paid the remaining balance. Randomly 2 months later they charged my credit card without authorization or notice an additional $600. It has been 3 weeks of me calling without ANY response from this company. This was a horrible experience without any professionalism used. You are better off grabbing some friends on the weekend then ever hiring this company. read more

Called on a Friday afternoon at 4pm because I had just learned that my storage unit roof was leaking. I asked if they had availability the following morning and the rep just kept asking me details instead of telling me if they could accommodate me. After 45 minutes the rep finally informed me that they could not assist the following morning but could on Monday. Very unprofessional and disappointing because most businesses close at 5pm so I had to scramble to locate another mover - thankfully I did - but I will never use this company in the future and will not give them a referral. read more

This company's customer service is non existent. We hired them to move us .53 of a mile on 7/30/25. The move was uneventful until it came to our couch. The movers did not reassemble the couch correctly. The couch is a three seater with power recliner seats on each end. When I got home from work we discovered that only one side was working. Previously there was nothing wrong with the couch. We noticed that a cord was not fully connected. We connected the cord and both sides started to work. While the previously non working side was reclining there was a horrible squealing sound and both sides stopped working. They are stuck in their reclined position. After further inspection if seems that when the couch was reassembled by the movers the wires were routed incorrectly causing them to be severed. I immediately sent an email (as it was now past closing time) My husband called the next day and was told he would be refereed to the Buffalo area manager. No one ever returned his call. He called several more times over the next week. I emailed again as well as completed the survey they sent. Still no one bothered to call us back to even discuss the issue. Then on 8/8/25 were sent the release of liabitly form we signed but, no other communication. Today 2 FULL WEEKS since our service my husband finally got a call back. They basically said they don't think it was their fault. Two weeks to return a call? That is unprofessional. Not even acknowledging or concerns. Now we are left with an unusable couch. We didn't do anything other then fully attach a wire that was connected completely. I wish I would do more research before I hired this company. Never again. I will also be sharing my experiences with friends to spare them the same horrible service and nonexistent communication. read more

When they arrived at Public Storage, where I had reserved a space, the truck stopped at the office. I was standing outside because the office was locked and there were no signs of life inside. (Granted, I had problems with Public Storage, also, but that part is just background. They drove the truck through the gate without inviting me to follow them or leaving the gate open with enough time for me to drive in. I stood outside the office with my walker, expecting to get further instructions on my cell phone. (I didn't want to leave the office door because I was still hoping someone in authority would return from wherever they were, having left no nte at the door to let me know whether I could expect any help. (Again, this is a gripe against Public Storage--but should have occurred to them that I needed some help if I was hoping to see my property ever again. I eventually found my unit, which the movers had locked without leaving me a key. I don't know how they thought I was going to reclaim or even inspect the items for any damage they might have caused. I still don't have my stuff. NEVER AGAIN! But they hurriedly unloaded the truck, presumably having moved all my worldly possessions ("Presumably" because I wasn't there to watch them) into the storage unit. I'm copying this over from other places I've written a review as it's fairly lengthy. If you want most of your stuff that's supposed to be moved delivered with most of it unbroken, this is your company I guess. We went with them because of the supposed good reviews but we honestly can't recommend them. The pros: folks were friendly and the crew was fast. The cons: Damaged walls at our old home. Damaged furniture (one item is being repaired by them as of writing this review). Yes, you sign a liability waiver for any particle wood stuff but it still was an inordinated amount damaged. We advised a fridge was being moved but nobody mentioned they won't touch a Samsung fridge with smart screen. This resulted in us having to leave a $2k fridge as there was no time to find alternate options to move it. Also, nobody mentioned they wouldn't touch mounted TVs. If I could unmount it myself I would have. So yet something else we were left scrambling to find alternate arrangements. A number of items were forgotten and/or left, with a response of "well that's unfortunate". Yes, we were at 75% of a truck estimated and they have you sign a waiver at 70% or have another truck but I had moved a good number of things myself that were in that estimate to alleviate that issue and I still had to move a good amount of furniture because it was left/forgotten. If you are elderly, disabled or just unable to do a lot of moving furniture yourself, you definitely should not go with Two Men and a Truck. Also, if you're on a time crunch with no time to make alternate arrangements when things are left, forgotten, etc. Yes it's hard work, I should know cause I had to do a ton myself. Not sure why I paid almost $2k for movers. Edit: So, I'm following up on my review after a month of working with this company after the fact. First off, I will say that Bryant genuinely seemed to try and make things right. He worked with me to compensate on some of the damaged items. Also, after reviewing the calls, it was mentioned that I'd need to unmount the TVs, so that is fully on me. However, once things were passed along to Randy to handle, it seemed more along the lines of shift blame to me and get me out of their hair. One item that the movers had broke was a night stand. They took it to repair and returned it a month later with the leg repaired but with more damage to it. When I brought this up with Randy, it was "well, we left it on your porch like you wanted and it was out of our possession for 12 hours and it looks like it's in its final position, sooooo nothing I can do about the damage cause it left here in good condition." When I asked if they had pictures of how it looked when it left, the response was "didn't need any". Now, mind you, the porch is covered, it was brought in with nobody else touching it until I unwrapped it and saw the damage. Not to mention, I don't really have a reason to damage my own things any more than this company has. You can look at the pics and judge for yourself as it looks to me like the nightstand was placed and moved upside-down and damaged more while they were attempting to fix the leg. To cap things off, after multiple attempts to get an answer about doing anything about the fridge I had to leave behind, Randy's response was again "We don't dissemble smart fridges. They're specialty items and it's not something we would have moved in the first place." Yes, that's the problem. It's fine if you don't move them BUT nobody disclosed this! I would have been able to make alternate arrangements if it was disclosed up front, not day of with the movers there and us having to be out of the house that day. I can not stress enough to stay away from this company. Unless you're looking for a demolition crew. Then give em a try. read more

But they ended up breaking a light in the hall of the building my daughter moved from, and then took a long break at McDonald's and didn't even make us aware of it. After the move there was a missing item that hasn't been located. Ended up paying an exorbitant fee that was nowhere near the original quote. To top things off, one of the movers made an unwanted sexual advance on my daughter after me and my husband left. After reading reviews on Google and Yelp, I would highly suggest believing the Yelp reviews, which are much more in line with the kind of service we got from this company. This company "helped" my mother move yesterday and now she's left with a crumbled pile of broken belongings that a lot of cannot be replaced. The men that came to move her items were careless, reckless, and downright disrespectful with all of her things, including numerous boxes clearly marked 'BREAKABLE' with many sentimental items in them. They stacked boxes upon boxes (4, 5 high) on top of each other onto a dolly and BOUNCED them down the stairs, breaking the contents of what was inside. I understand stacking boxes to be more efficient, but if you can't control the load you're carrying so that things don't break, perhaps it's too much?? A huge piece of wood from her solid wood dresser was also broken off which, when confronted, they claimed was like that when they got there, but she found the missing piece that broke off while they were moving it. They also brought numerous boxes down to her storage closet, as requested, but upon further inspection they haphazardly threw all the boxes into the closet in no order whatsoever with items falling out of boxes, others getting crushed, and the boxes were stacked above my mom's head to the point where she had to go in and rearrange them herself after their "work" was done. If you're paying a moving company hundreds of dollars to get your items from one destination to another, shouldn't you be able to at least trust that your items will be safe and you won't have to go back and do their job for them afterwards? My mother is 55 and has a horrible back, and she works close to 12 hours a day... she doesn't have the body or the time to be cleaning up after this company that she PAID for. read more

AVOID using this moving company. They are not transparent about their travel costs. Was charged for double the time it would take from their facilities to the the city. The manager has been extremely distasteful when it was challenged. An additional travel time charge will be added to cover the time spent traveling from the movers terminal to your old address, and back to the terminal from your new address. They will charge much more than the actual cost. If you're less than 30 minutes away from their facilities (city of buffalo/west seneca area), do not use them. They will double the travel time. To put this into perspective: A couch set, Queen-size bed, console table, PC and PC chair with a .4 mile distance to the new location took them 4.25 hours. It's laughable. Two men and a Truck will tack on more than it actually costs. BEWARE. read more

Customer Service is horrible. Our quote was $1349.81. We were required to give a $100 deposit which is acceptable. We cancelled our reservation days before because our closing date changed. As soon as we knew of the change we notified the company. We didn't have a new closing date so we didn't rebook. The company took the liberty to charge our credit card the full amount without approval or notification. Once I saw it in my statement I called and tried to get the charge reversed. I they denied our even though I agreed to forfeit the $100 deposit. They lied to our bank claiming they "drove to our location and had to wait for our decision". Which is ridiculous. This was not true as they never arrived (because we cancelled)! Unfortunately because the company's main phone number is a 1-800 then forwarded to employees cell phones, we cannot prove we made a call to them to cancel because we redialed a past received phone number. In the end we were able to get a partial refund and they got $465 of our money. Their scam worked and I just want to warn others. They don't deserve any stars, but zero is not an option. I have since discovered they are not accredited by the Better business bureau and have an F rating with the BBB due to 13 other complaints. read more

They damaged so MANY of our items, were very unprofessional, have lack of accountability and refused to reimburse for ANY damages they caused. They had us sign what appeared to be an invoice for the credit card charges which had an undisclosed contract on the back side they never even showed us exists. They ran my credit card for $35,000 2 times with 2 different credit cards telling me my cards were being declined when it was actually being ran thru for $35,000 NOT the $3500 it should have been. I verified this with both banks. They denied any error on their part. When asked to sign for the $3500 which finally they entered correctly, I signed where the charge was, believing it was for the credit card. The invoice was folded in half on a clipboard. CAUTION....On the back side of this invoice is a contract they never show you, never tell you even exists but they will tell you that you signed a contract should you have a future claim. During the move they cleared out my office when I instructed them not to take unclosed boxes. The envelope with house keys & garage door openers needed for the closing went missing as they did not follow instructions and cleared out that office and all was taken. When I returned to get that important envelope everything was gone. They denied any error on their part. I had to get & pay $105 for new garage door openers and keys while in the middle of our moving day. This move cost us just under $4000 for a 2200 sq ft home. The pictures show what happened when we utilized this company. They fully damaged our washing machine due to improper tie-down in the truck. Never saw it once they removed it from our home. They never reimbursed us for the loss. I believe the offered $70 for the washer even though a new once cost us over $800 to replace the one they broke. Lamps broken, buffet fully damaged, furniture damaged, cabinet damaged, my 2 mini refrigerators all dented... the list is endless. They did not even put boxes in the appropriate labeled rooms which were clearly marked. After briefly leaving, I came back into our home to find 2 movers sitting on our just delivered, brand new sofas in dirty, sweaty clothes sitting back & lounging as if in their own home. Stunned was an understatement. At this point I just wanted these people out of our home. I care for my stage 4, terminal fiancé who is wheelchair bound during to a stroke and am unable to lift these heavy boxes on my own. I had to pay a 2nd time to have the boxes put into the assigned rooms. They fully blocked our first floor making it impassable to get my fiancé out in his wheelchair should there have been a fire or other emergency. It took over a week to clear a path. To this day we have no resolution. They hang up when I call, they no longer answer our emails. Even the ridiculous $70 was never sent. Is this how small business in America is doing business now? Is this how we in America treat each other? Money holds value over people? In my experience, this company has no accountability and takes zero responsibility for their actions. It is a sad day for our country when companies like Two Men & A Truck can get away with this type of negligence and not be held accountable. I've moved 7 homes in my past and nothing even comes close to this experience and financial loss it has incurred. Chock it up to 1 bad experience if you must but when things go wrong look to a companies character on how they handle the damages and treat the customer! I've show their work in just a few pictures. As if that is not bad enough, he then double down and says he needs to redo their estimate to reschedule. I was told the company was started by 2 guys making money while going to college. The simplicity of the name when I saw the truck out and about got my attention. Starting with the first person who answered the phone...friendly, and helpful. Several of our dressers were broken, my islas wheel ripped off, and I am misisng the middle part of my bed fram that holds the mattress. See the photos of the damage, including an antique which they slide across my floors on its top. Smashing it. Mind you they do not make these in the United States and it belonged to my grandfather's grandfather. The only thi g their supervisor could tell me was they would repair it and he understood my frustration. CLEARLY he did not. One of the gentleman started to argue with me and I had to tell him to get out of my home. He sat there and argued after dating my property with zero remorse of disregard of what he did. Had he not been in a rush, he would of seen the correct way to bring in a dresser. Another dresser was smashed (it was my sons).they said was broken. None of my furniture was broken prior to this move. They also smashed the knob off another one. My bed,they still have the middle metal part to my bed frame itself. You can see I the photo on the headboard screws where part of the metal piece is missing. It goes on both sides acrewed into the headboard. We thrn place the metal ontop of it. We haven't been able to sleep on the bed since the move.due to part of the frame missing. When the main crew member called his boss they told us it would take 96 hours to call us.In the meantime our bed is missing pieces. I am missing a kitchen island all of my dressers. While they did their move into the house they broke the wooden porch. We noticed it after they left with the furniture they broke. For what we were charged for moving is nothing compared to the cost of damages they did to all the furniture. My porch and missing part of bed frame itself. Shame on the company to want customers to wait days to rectify or discuss a claim when their employees damage the items they moved and a home owners property! read more

Avoid this company. What started off as a positive experience, became a negative experience on moving day. When I booked our moving day, we were told the crew would arrive between 8am -9am. A few days before the move, I was told they'd now arrive between 10am and 12pm. I later found out that this was because they took on an additional move that morning, despite me booking first. On the day of the move, I received a call at 11:45am saying that the crew was running behind but would be at my house within a hour. However, the crew didn't arrive to my house until 1:45pm. Nearly six hours later than what I booked. The move earlier in the day was larger than what was anticipated and involved more than one drop-off point, and rather than telling the customer that they wouldn't be able to assist with the move beyond what they had previously agreed to, and that it would impact someone else, they continued with the move and I'm the one who had to pay the consequences. When I called the office asking that they compensate me for the inconvenience, I was told they weren't able to do anything for me. I pushed again and am still waiting for a call back from upper management. I do NOT recommend this company. They are not responsive or reliable. read more

Worst moving experience of my life they damaged just about everything they touched. Asked us if we had moving pads. One employee vomited in a box of ours after his lunch break and left it beside my garage. Disgusting people and the persons who's in charge of my claim is telling me they should just get my stuff touched up but if they pick it up who knows how long it will take to have fixed. They still want me to pay full price of what they wanted to charge me. Inexperienced kids moved and dropped scrapped knocked dented all my nicest stuff, not to mention my dresser drawers don't open and close the same. This is the worst and most expensive moving company I've ever seen and anyone that uses them will most likely be sorry afterwards. Save yourself the money move and break your own stuff! read more

An absolute nightmare experience that dragged on for months after my moving day. In a nutshell, the owner sent a crew of three kids that were very inexperienced and in way over their head. Didn't see a dolly, straps, furniture slides, ect. the entire day. The truck also did not have a mechanical lift. They were obviously not properly trained. After straining themselves several times and damages done to my property, the final straw came when a vanity was cracked completely in half. We had to tell them to stop before someone seriously hurt themselves. The owner and franchisee, Chris Raiber took no responsibility. Made excuses for every act of negligence and damage. "The piece of furniture was made of a material that isn't ever intended to be moved; that chunk was already missing from my dining room chair; that dent in the door frame looks like it was there; yes, I can see a muddy footprints on your washer and dryer but there's no indentation so they must not have put any weight on it; yes, your box springs and mattresses are dirty, but those can just be washed." After the guys left, I was given an invoice that had a higher hourly rate than what was originally quoted me and I was charged for the time it took them to complete their 'damage report' which was eventually sent to me incomplete. I was told they were still working and I was charged appropriately. It took three months before he offered a small compensation. I wasn't looking for a free move and was willing to meet in the middle. He threatened to send me to collections on a number of occasions. Best of all THE COMPENSATION THAT WAS OFFERED, WAS DEPENDENT ON ME KEEPING QUIET AND NOT SHARING MY EXPERIENCE PUBLICALLY. See attached photos - they say it all. It appears there was a formal complaint through BBB within the last six months that has parallels to my story. customer service lady was snarky and condescending. not helpful. not good hospitality at all. needed a quote for a service and she had a tone that you shouldn't have when dealing with customers. i suggest reevaluating who you have taking calls because it will deter people away such as myself. read more

The worst experience I have ever had with a company. I had to arrange an emergency move for my deaf father over the phone since I was away. The company saleswoman assured me she was giving me the HIGH estimate of around $700 over the phone since I could not read the contract over the phone at the time. I did emphasize that I was not able to read the email she sent me that I had to offer a digital signature/OK for as I put down a $100 deposit on my credit card. Again, I was out of town, she knew I was unable to read the small print and she lied, since after the move, which was not completed, and the boys doing it did not work the full hours the company claims (they took at least two hours off for lunch and were no where to be seen from 1-4) they said I owed them $1161.25. I spoke to the management on several occasions trying to get an honest answer and I agreed to pay the high end of the phone quote, but not the additional $400 or so. Also, they add men to the move and do not let you know at the time! So, false advertising, not two men, but could be three or four. Anyway, after disputing this via email, several calls, and finally on a call that ended with the woman there telling me that if I did not authorize the full payment she would put me in the small claims court pile. I said fine. Instead of taking me to court for non-payment, which I would be happy to do since the court should know about this fraudulent company, they charged the credit card number that I had given them for the deposit, and claim that I authorized the full amount of payment! They have gone as far as sending my credit card company a falsified receipt for that last call date, 12/7/2022, with my electronic signature, which again, they must have pulled from my initial deposit authorization. I absolutely did not authorize it. Further they did not credit my $100 deposit. Crooks and liars. read more
