$5 happy hour nachos and classic margarita
    K P.

Went for happy hour. First issue, didn't know where to park. You have to park around the corner with a 2 hour time limit or you pay. After i parked, had to find my way back to the restaurant through the motel, which was a challenge as well. Then there's no real "front door" at the restaurant, so I was walking in circles for a while. Then found an odd accordion type door that you push in to enter. We were greeted quickly by a very friendly waitress and ordered 2 old fashioneds and beef nachos. The website said the old fashioned is $6, but the menu said $8. Anywho, the nachos came out quickly, but visual appeal clearly wasn't a priority for whoever threw it together. Half the chips were broken, and everything else just looked flopped on top. The drinks came and tasted so weird, and with a cinnamon type aftertaste. I sent mine back, which I have never done before, and my friend was struggling to drink hers, and the waitress recognized this and took hers as well. Ended up with a margarita and Moscow mule, they were just ok. Time was up on the parking so time to go. I don't recommend unfortunately.

I really liked the ambiance and it's a decent sized patio. Nice outdoor space for a really nice day. Server was nice but aloof... we had to request the happy hour menu as they didn't provide without asking, and then she disappeared for no less than 20 mins. I was overcharged on the chips and salsa as the hh menu said $5 and I was charged $7. Salsa was okay, chips okay, margarita tasted good but I'd need about 7 to be anywhere close to drunk -- and I'm a lightweight. Beef fajita taco was really good though, if I came back it's the only thing I'd get again.

Margarita was stout. One had us reeling. Salsa cheese quac trio amazing. Quesadilla would be way better with grilled chicken. Chips were great. Service was amazing.

The food was great I enjoyed it! I'm not sure why the low rating, everything I had was flavorful.

I was surprised to see only 3 stars. My experience was good. Skinny margarita, no complaints. Dip trio was good. Poblano enchiladas were not dry. Rice was ok, beans were flavorful but I like mine more simple. Fries had seasoning and kids chicken tenders were good, breading wasn't too thick or hard

Food was so yummy! The service was kind and the ambiance was awesome! We stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the restaurant!

The restaurant itself is in a good area and has good parking. Especially with how close it is to the Toyota music center. We went for happy hour before a show and ordered two drinks a quesadilla and the fajitas and chips and queso. The queso was pretty good! The quesadilla was good and the fajitas were better! But our service wasn't great. I had to ask for water and to get the check and for her to pick up the check. I'd come back so that I could park here again but otherwise would likely try somewhere else.

I absolutely loved the space, but the food was not as much, and the service was rather slow. I will admit we were a party of 12 with no reservations. They had a table perfect for us. We were seated immediately. It was 20 minutes before lunch, so some wanted lunch while others chose to wait for lunch to cross over. I ordered off both menus. I had the breakfast brisket taco. It was a little fatty, yet really flavorful and pretty good. The pancake was cooked to PERFECTION with the crispy edges and fluffy in the middle. The bacon had just the right amount of crisp. The kale salad was gorgeous but lacked flavors, extremely bland, but very pretty. The brussels sprout were a little oily, not as crispy as described. They seemed to have been sitting, so they weren't hot upon arrival. The french fries were good, and the ranch was DELICIOUS! The overall staff was friendly, but the service was slow.

Service is a bit slow/under staffed maybe, but there is a trade show going on across the street so they are busy. They have a live band outside which sounds pretty good but a bit too loud inside for me personally. Not a lot of options for someone allergic to chili peppers but found something I could make work, hello chicken sandwich! Happy hour pricing is good!

Civiche, brisket tacos, impossible meat tacos, Gouda Mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts, beef fajita taco

The ambience is beautiful without a doubt but the food was a slap in the face. Luke warm food with premade ingredients. The civiche was in canned tomato sauce. Brisket was under seasoned. Not lacking salt but flavor. Brussel sprouts were burnt with no flavor. Mac and cheese was made with imitation cheese. Why are we using premade guacamole on the tacos. It's not good ! Service was good but please have the ambiance match the food. It's not right to the customers.

Small spot located on this property that appears to be all under one umbrella. Service was great and attentive, as well as friendly. Went in around 3pm, menu was very small and saw quite a few salad options, not my thing. Went with the salsa, guacamole & queso trio. Chips were VERY stale and not fresh. Queso was pretty runny and that's never good. I'm not too sure what kind of salsa that really was but the guacamole was fine. All in all, not really a restaurant vibe but more of a hotel lobby cantina thing going on.

Shortly later our drinks were brought to us and the servers returned for our appetizer order, which we declined and went straight to the meals. I ordered the Barbacoa Taco plate. My tacos were moist and easy to eat, I added a little of the chip salsa to each which added to the flavor. I thought the rice and beans were well done as well. I did try some of my sons Mole Enchiladas. They had a chocolate flavor. He enjoyed them. The music, the decor and the layout are done nicely. My compadre and I keyed in on the same dish - hatch chili enchiladas. All of their food is made.from scratch in small batches, so the wait is longer than some places. However, the quality is superior. We both loved our lunches. We also ordered yucca fries and a queso Blanco, which were quite good. The interior was very nice and modern. It was not too loud. All seats are high chairs, which my wife would've hated if she'd been on the trip. For us, it was comfortable. The reason this was not 5 stars is that the taste was not what we expected and the prices were high. If you order hatch chili anything, you expect a little spice from the chilis.. I didn't taste the hatch chili in my entree. Question Blanco was a little bland despite it being much higher quality than what I get locally. It was $25+tip for 2 enchiladas, 1 queso, and a soft drink. I recommend giving them a shot. It is a very nice place with nice people.

When we asked the manager about it, he didn't seem to know they changed this. 10/25/25 was 8.25% tax (including alcohol in the order). All recent bills were anywhere from 13% to 16.5% hidden in the "tax" line, not even itemized. I'm sure because they know most won't realize it. This may explain why on a Friday at 5pm (even with a social hour) the bar was empty except for one other couple. The charbroiled filet mignon was the star of the show however. We were not expecting such a great steak at a Mexican restaurant. The table side charring was perfect! Charred to a perfect medium rare with the right amount of seasonings. If we're ever in Dallas/Irving area...we'd definitely return! Well done.

The inside reminds me of most of the Tex-Mex themed restaurants in Dallas. The FESTIVE colors, chairs & booth seating, bar photos on the wall. Service to the table was nothing exceptional. After scanning the menu, I ordered the trio fajita which is steak, chicken, and shrimp. I wanted to be able to pick my meat combo. I really just wanted the Chicken and Shrimp. Luckily, the Mister was able to eat the beef. They came sizzling! The Chicken was tender and the marinade was not over-powering. The shrimp was cooked but very fishy. I squeezed fresh lemon on it and it pulled out the intended flavor. I was not particularly awed with garnishments. I wanted shredded lettuce and maybe my choice of beans black or pinto. Nonetheless, the overall plate was good and I RECOMMEND for anyone looking for a high protein meal. The chips and dip came out first with both salsa and a bean dip. LOVED the bean dip as a counter to the spicy salsa. They did not have queso blanco but I know this is mostly a lower Mexico to central-America staple.

We ended up getting a trio (beef, chicken, shrimp) fajita 1/2 pound and it was perfect for the 2 of us. You can taste the grilled and charred flavor on the meats. The chicken and shrimp were slightly on the drier side but when combined with the sour cream, beans, guac, cheese, they were perfection. For the two people, the limitation ended up being more the toppings to the fajitas but it was just enough. At about $25 for 2, that was a steal. The queso was about $9. Right before we were about to leave, Kayla recommended the tres leches dessert and you know we had to try it. It was solid. Loved the cream on top. Definitely would come back again!
