We stopped by on a Tuesday night when it was relatively quiet. We were seated right away. We had to ask the waitress to turn the AC down because it felt like it was almost 80 degrees in the restaurant. The atmosphere looked really festive for a soccer game. They had an area where you could take pictures. We ordered Chicken Tenders for the kids but they were out. In all fairness, this a Sports Bar and probably not the best place to bring kids to eat. We ended up ordering The Cheese Enchiladas. They were good but nothing spectacular. We finished off with the Churros. This a cozy little Sports Bar with a Mexican flare. I would definitely come back when they have a soccer game on. It is a lot more quaint than some of the bigger Sports Bars. If you have kids with you, I would opt for Pin Stack or Dave and Busters. read more

This place was a great vibe! It was beautifully decorated and with a stage! Shoutout to DJ Jackie for making the great beats and balancing karaoke and hype songs! DJ Jackie was one of the best fans for those doing karaoke! My friends and I went out to Reys for Cinco De Mayo and it was so fun! the staff was so nice! We were a group of 18 people! And they provided us exceptional service! The staff, especially our waitress was so patience, kind, and attentive with our group! And we were a big group, in a busy sports bar! The food! I had asked for a mocktail and they provided a great substitute: "A Sex on the Beach Mocktail" fancy indeed! haha! And the street tacos were great! Haha, they also had the hard shelled tacos, but I forgot to take a photo of it! For the Cinco De Mayo deal it was: $2.50 for the hard shell tacos and the $3.00 for the soft shell tacos. All in all, I enjoyed my night! We had fun dancing on their dance floor and stage! They had cowboy hats and other props if you wanted to take a photo! Such a pleasant and fun experience! It seemed like the place to be on a Friday night as a DJ was setting up on our way out. We got out the car and we heard the music and it was bumping bumping bumping. We loved it from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. We were asked our drink order. Don't sleep on this unassuming restaurant/bar. We popped in from out of town based on a quick restaurant search and are so glad we did. Food was fresh and filling. Had a great conversation with the owner which made the whole experience even better. We had the street tacos and taco salad. I didn't see where I can leave a Facebook or Google review. The food was ok. I would eat it again. The service is SLOW. There is a salsa group here and one waitress with bleach strawberry blonde hair is in the wrong profession. She is losing her mind and since I'm sitting at bar all I hear is her making mistakes and bad mouthing all of the patrons. . Is complaining of about the numbers (I thought more people = more tips is a good thing) and she really has been complaining the whole time and orders have come out for her tables and she doesn't even remember who they belong to. I'm being fair to give this place two stars because of the quality of the food but the owner (Dora) is just one wicked person with her employees. She doesn't realize that not all of her clients speak English only. I've witnessed her belittle her bartenders in Spanish often telling them: "they should be grateful they were afforded to have a job there". Some of her employees specifically bartenders wages are based on tips only and not hourly. She demands that they perform duties out of the scope of their responsibilities. If she assists the bartenders and tips are given she takes a cut and when confronted about it she claims that the assistance isn't free. I will never return to this place ever again and will make sure to share this info with any or all of my friends before they think about going to this establishment! read more

Was in town for business and wanted to try some local cuisine. Found Rey's on Yelp, and noticed the positive reviews from locals, so I gave it a try. Fairly easy to navigate to, walked in around 4PM, was very quite, was greeted and seated. This place lacked decent hospitality and the quality of food was not even 'ok.' Let me start with the food: The beans were so runny, like they added more water to the boiled beans to save money. Well, it messes with the quality. I ordered a chimichanga. The cheese sauce wasn't even velveeta. I would have loved it if it was store bought cheese. They packed with with beans and rice, which I didn't understand the point because the plate already has some on there. I ordered it with chicken. There was very little of it in the chimichanga. I couldn't even enjoy it because the beans spilled everywhere. It was kind of gross. None of my party enjoyed their food. Service: We were greeted with "dine in or carry out?" When we said dine in, she responded with "are you sure?" We should have left at that point. There were five of us total in the party. One did not get their entree until we were basically done with the food. The server even told him that it was ready at the window and would be right back. A couple minutes later she said it was being fired right now. We were all confused. My other friend ordered a side of lime. She had the lime wedges on a napkin on her beverage tray. When she dropped them off, she picked the limes with her hand and just placed them on the table. Gross. Anyway, I know not to go back again and if you want real Tex-Mex/Mexican food, there are so many better choices down the street. read more

First of all, I did like the chips and salsa. The chips were a little different, I think maybe tortilla chips that had been baked instead of fried? They tasted a little like pita chips. I tried one of their specialties which the waitress listed as "if you like spicy" recommendation. It was the meatballs in chipotle sauce (albóndiga en salsa de chipotle). Despite the recommendation, this was not at all spicy. Very disappointing. In addition, one person in our group was vegetarian and this completely blew their minds. There was no spinach enchiladas, no veggie, fajitas, and no veggie option of any kind apart from plain quesadillas. My friend did not want just tortilla and cheese. Finally, my friend asked if they could just make tacos without the meat. So just veggies on a tortilla. Her dish came out about 10 minutes after everyone else's food. When we asked about her food after everyone else had theirs the waitress said, "Sorry, our kitchen isn't used to making anything like that." I will probably go back to see how the dancing is there (we went at lunch), but I wouldn't recommend it based on the food and I would recommend against it if there is a vegetarian in your group. read more

Never again. Went to happy hour at 5pm and sat in the bar, had a very nice lady bartender. Once we got our drinks, she left and sat down with what seemed like family. We had to flag her down to pay. The bar was 21 and older but this guy brought his 6 yr old over to play pool and it was so loud we couldn't even have a conversation.
