This place was pretty good. We tried the bulgogi fries, fried dumplings, chicken gangjeoung, dolsot bibimbob, Kim chi rice, and ramen. The chicken gangjeoung was really delicious. The dumplings were very good. The fries were good and enjoyed but had too much mayo on them. Personal preference. Everyone liked their ramen very much. Only thing I didn't like was the dolsot bibimbob. The bowl was way too hot. The egg and meat were overcooked because of it and the rice stuck to the bowl. It also took a very long time to cool off. I would not recommend that for $18. It would be wonderful if it wasn't so hot- temperature wise. But ramen is a very good buy. We will be back. I want more of the chicken already! The food was absolutely delicious, so flavorful and fresh! This is definitely one of my favorite Korean restaurants now. The service was beyond amazing (100/10!). Tommy and the entire staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Huge kudos to the chefs as well. everything was perfectly prepared. At first, we hesitated because of some reviews, but we decided to give it a chance and we're so glad we did. We were really impressed! The ambiance is nice, and they have a super cool grill in the middle of the table, which makes the experience even more interesting. Two Pocha has become a shadow of what it used to be. Forcing two people to be present to even access the AYCE menu is an absurd rule. I get that it's a cost measure, when I want KBBQ, it's not always with a group or another person! They use this weird paper on the grills now that the owner claims makes the food juicier when being cooked, but all I've noticed is that you're boiling the meat instead of BBQing it. The choices of meat are nice, which earns it the second star. I'm going to steer away from recommending this place. With KPOT open nearby, or Wild Japanese BBQ for a slightly different style, there are far better choices. Try it at your own risk. read more

Visited this place for the first time on a Saturday. I guess the first red flag we should've seen was that the service was going to be really delayed was how long it took them to sit us. We were probably standing by the front door for a good 5 to 7 minutes, just waiting to be seated. Overall, it only appeared that they had two servers and a manager that was walking around helping. Once they finally sat down, it took a good 10 minutes before anyone even approached our table just to give us menus. Finally a couple of minutes later the server came and took our drink order. We ordered two waters and a sweet tea. The waters were given to us immediately. However, the tea took a good 15-20 minutes. Since we saw them were really behind, we decided to order food from the kitchen and I think that in general was a mistake. We waited for our food for a good 45 minutes. Mind you we also had a toddler so this was not the best place to be at with such a long waiting time. Finally leave the server came and told us that the kitchen was really behind, so it was gonna take a little bit longer, but no one ever came to give us an explanation as to why they were taking so long until way later. When the food finally came, it was very delicious. However, the only thing I didn't like about my plate was that some of the meat had a lot of fat. We ordered other food as well, but I honestly did not think about taking pictures because we were already really hungry. I think we got there around 6:15 and did not leave until around 8:45 or so. It's nice how they have the cook your own food style there. However, the smoke can get bothersome so if you have any issues with smoke, I would not recommend this place because there's so much of it. The space is decent however everything is just so tight, but it's very hard to feel comfortable. I think if you do want to give this restaurant a shot I would go during the week when it may not be so busy and hopefully the service is a little bit better. read more

The table is set up to cook at your table, pretty cool. We choose to just order off the menu. Maria got an appetizer, didn't get the name of it, but it was in a sauce. I got a plate, and we shared it. Came with a lot of side, Kimchi, some cucumbers, broccoli with a slaw sauce. Looks like all the tables you can cook at, plenty of vent hoods around the restaurant. Plenty of room here. Had a Korean beer, not bad. Plenty of parking outside. Wanted to let you know, if you have never been to on e of the two locations. Good experience for a work lunch. We had a group of 9 and they accommodated us nicely. It was pretty slow on a Friday for lunch, so our server was extra attentive - in a great way. She explained the process and options for meats and sides. Cooking our own meat was pretty fun and feels like a cool idea for a date night too! Not only was he funny and charismatic, but he also was able to accommodate us and troubleshoot in real time when certain things weren't available before suggesting an alternative. First time eating at this restaurant but not first time eating k-bbq. The food was delicious and satisfied my craving! The side vegetables were delicious, especially the cucumbers. The kimchi was fresh and the rice was amazing. It was just the slightest bit sticky (in a good way) and cooked al dente (not sure what the rice equivalent word is but it had a good texture when you bite into each grain of rice) and when you take a bite, you can taste each grain of rice in your tongue it's so good. The meat was excellent as well! Ordered Hawaiian beef, a pork option I can't remember but It's the thinly sliced one rolled up above. We had ordered garlic chicken but then accidentally brought garlic pork belly which is the one below. I don't eat pork but my mom really liked it. Not pictured, but I also ordered the beef brisket after and it looks thinly sliced and rolled up kind of like the pork one and it was also amazing! I think my favorite ended up being the Hawaiian beef with pineapples, especially when you grill it enough that it's a bit charred and crispy, add a dash a salt and a bit of sesame oil and the other sauce they had on the table (looks like soy sauce but didn't taste like it but it was fire) The service was great, our server was new but he checked on us a lot to make sure our food and experience was good so I appreciated that and when any mistake were made to my got corrected. The ambience was a bit more lowkey than other Kk-bbq restaurants I've been to. They played american music instead of k-pop and it was at a low enough volume that you could talk and still hear. They did have k-pop performances playing on the tv though which was nice. Great service, friendly staff! It's just like the yakiniku restaurants in Japan with the digital menu on the tablet and everything. Normally with all you can eat yakiniku restaurants, the restaurant sacrifices quality of meats to meet the quantity of demand. My son, whom I took out to dinner that night said this is the best yakiniku hes had in town. Theres a 2 hr time limit which is plenty of time to get full. Hello ayce korean bbq! Tried this place with friends today and it did not disappoint. Got the premium package which includes everything on original package plus ribeye steak, seafood and more tender meats. Banchan was delicious and also ayce! This place has pickled radish! No rice paper available but I'll keep asking. Lettuce leaves option to wrap meat in too. Good drink menu consisting of liquor, beer and numerous soju flavors. We tried out this K-BBQ joint since we were in the area, and left with full bellies. If you're into Korean BBQ this place is recommended. That said, some keys for your visit to Two Pocha. They charge by the meal or dish or side...what's that mean? Although they do have different dishes, the whole point of the Korean BBQ is to enjoy an AYCE (all you can eat) experience. They have a $30 and $40 dollar option (with slightly expanded selection)...your particular choice. Another note... the AYCE options are charged at 2-hour intervals. 2 hours is plenty though, and if you are still eating at 1:45hrs, your wait staff will give you a "last call.". Plenty of time to fill your belly. Shout out to our waitress Mary Joe who kept the meat and the sides coming. If we needed a refill of our beverages she was all over it. She didn't crowd us, and if our grill was dirty, she asked if we wanted a clean one and replaced it on the spot. Great customer service. Where they could do better. Endless sides is good, but the kimchi is the fresh kind, and IMO, the matured/aged kimchi tastes better. I'd have to return to see if they have other sides. If you want sliced garlic and jalapenos you have to ask. $5 for lettuce or onions? Hmmm, that's a bit much. That said... Tips... the grill is electric heated. Why it might matter? If you want a hot grill to cook the meat, it will take longer - in particular if you decide to switch grills. ...but two hours is plenty. All in all, my intent was met... I filled my belly with as much bbq as I could. Had a good time, and found a new spot. The place is new, so the seats are clean. It's got its own parking. The K-Pop is going and the service is great. The beef and pork belly + shoulder were good. They don't have many other options besides meat in their normal AYCE. You can only order soup and steamed egg once for free. The portions are small and the taste is not that special. We ordered lettuce but was not told that it was extra. The server only told us after we ordered our 2nd round of lettuces. I thought this was inconsiderate of them. Through the business of ordering from the AYCE menu, he did not check again that we understood the pricing. I talked to another server after and she did not offer to make those lettuces complimentary. Besides that specific service disappointment, the rest of the service was good. Man-O-Man.. this place DID NOT disappoint. Let's start with the Banchan. The homemade Kimchi and Cucumber Kimchi is so addicting. AND this place has pickled radish sheets!!! YES!! Wrap your cooked brisket and dip it in brisket sauce.. super good! Don't worry, if you run out, they are only too happy refill your dishes. We came for the $29/person all you can eat. We mainly stuck with beef brisket and pork belly, but the spicy bulgogi is very tasty and super delish. This place didn't disappoint. Dined here May 31, 2025. Our server was overwhelmed with 15 tables! Only 2 servers were working the entire restaurant and it was full. Our table was never cleaned up, dishes piled up. We were there for 2hrs and only had AYCE served twice! Soup was served with no spoons because we were told they were all dirty. Exactly 21mins later we were given spoons! By then soup was cold. Management was not on site. This was definitely a management issue not having enough staff, no fault of our server. He was doing the best he could. Been coming here for years, unfortunately this restaurant has gone down hill. When the Korean lady manager is there she's very unfriendly, just sits in the back booth by kitchen looking at people. NEVER greeting any guests. Don't waste your time or money. This was the second time this happened, gave it another try, same result! Came on a Sunday afternoon, and the staff quickly accommodated us. They were super friendly and explained everything thoroughly for our new to KBbq. We decided on the Premium buffet and really enjoyed most of the cuts of meat. The only one that was lacking was the ribeye because it didn't have any seasoning or marinade on it. It was a good cut, but marinating it would have taken it to the next level. The banchan (side dishes) was plentiful, and the kimchi was very tasty. The restaurant is nice and bright, with spacious booths so everyone can be comfortable. We enjoyed our time here, and I am sure we will be back. read more

I'm used to Korean BBQ in Hawaii and South Korea where lettuce is always included and you can usually serve yourself on sides. How do you change $30 a person plus change an additional $5 for lettuce. Lettuce is a given, how else do you eat Korean BBQ? There were a lot of rules listed on the menu too. It put off a vibe like they've been burned before by bad customers which I sympathize with. (You can still order chicken, veggies, etc. from the less costly package.) We appreciated how our server kept the meats coming, also refilling our drinks and bringing more rice bowls. The grill was easy to use and got the meats nicely browned. The best part of all is the high quality of the meats. It's funny how you gave me the term for cooking the rice in the hot pot! Second I've had it many times that it's still edible! No tooth breaking hard! We did have 2 ppl ordering to grill! It was not specified that it had to be on one burner! You did not serve us properly! The seat behind us that had the same amount of guest were constantly getting refills and asked if they needed anything down to a napkin Are table did not get any refills, just kept walking passed us. We're back again! Food quality is still pretty decent and this time around we just went with the basic $30 per person AYCE package. I noticed a visible difference in cleanliness/new labels on all the bottles at the tables which I greatly appreciated and which earns them a star back. I think 4 stars is a great assessment for the quality you'll get with the basic/standard package, but we still wouldn't recommend the premium package at this time. If you're looking for a good KBBQ place in Texas, short of driving to one of the major cities, this is definitely the best place in New Braunfels! read more

Not to mention when we came in, server didn't know what a high chair was and I had to go get it. Total 180 from our previous experience. We got up and left.
