    Turkey avocado cheese sandwich

Was passing by the grab lunch somewhere else and the guy coming out held the door open and it smelled so good so I turned back and went it. I got a turkey avocado cheese sandwich and my lord was it the most fresh, tasty sandwich I have ever had. This will be my go to spot for sandwiches from now on. Owners are an older couple but they're cool! Definitely a mom and pop vibe right when you walk in the door.

Great pizza!! And it's right next to papa John's, funny. I like papa John's bread a little better, it's very sweet... but really 2-Sal's has the better ingredients. Specifically the cheeses is excellent, and the sausage is delicious. It's is a true mom and pop, seems to be owner operated. Strangely, the old man told me "no photos" after I snapped these. Thanks!!

Food was pretty good :) Lots of cheese on the pizza. Visiting the area. I prefer mom and pop places compared to larger chains. If you're looking for a good pizza this place hits the spot

Love this little spot, great pizza and sandwiches, the only problem is they never answer the phone and if you go in to order it's an hour wait. The little couple needs to hire some help!

Large pizza with sausage, mushrooms and olives. They didn't skimp out on toppings.

I called ahead but it took like 5 tries to get through because of the Wednesday lunch rush. When I got there, they needed an extra 5 minutes to get my pizza ready. But it was good that he kept checking the pizza to make sure everything was baked through. The spot is small and with the one giant oven it's hot. I had my pizza as a carryout but the two workers were on point in getting all orders in. The pizza I got, large with sausage, mushrooms and olives was really filling. At the $27 price I thought that it was a little pricey but they put a good amount for the toppings which matched the price value. The pizza was delicious and baked perfectly. Great local business to support.

The pizza is delicious but I favor the torpedo sandwich with avocado. The best part is that they toast the bread.

Are they still open? I tried to call in an order on Saturday and the phone just rang. I drove by and it was closed. I tried calling today but I didn't want to drive over.? Thank You They we're away for 2 hrs due to a roof repair. I just missed them.

Never call! Just go and go before 5 cause they usually run out of dough. It's a husband/wife business and they are always busy so it's very rare for them to pick up their…

Can I say bad-ass? I just realized my entire review is about their merch...This time I got the curry chicken sandwich. I initially got it because curry chicken sandwiches always have a sweet element and most places do raisins or apples. Here, they did peach, and I was like, 'damn. I want to try this.' But when I bit into it, the star of the freaking show was the peppercini!! What!??! That vinegary balance with a tiny kick. Mmmm, yeah. Super good that I ate way too much in one sitting.

Sandwiches are quite large, big enough to split between 2 people if I'm being honest, but nothing I would complain about. Egg salad was great, never felt heavy despite how large it was, but I also enjoyed the Uptown Club, thickly stacked with each component but felt wholly balanced with whatever was pickled and the tomato. I did find the meatball side to be simultaneously too salty and too sweet, even though you would figure these would cancel out. I did enjoy the looseness of the actual meatball, and the crispy shallots on top were a wonderful addition. Would love to revisit, would be a perfect pit stop for any picnic or lunch occasion.

Is it good? Yes. Are the portions small for the price? Also yes. Is it worth to pay more? No. Hear me out--I ordered the musubi and shrimp separately. The customers right after me ordered a plate and something else, very similar, and the same employee suggested they get the combo instead, which included a plate, musubi, and a drink. I did the math and realized I had basically paid the same price as the combo, except I didn't get a drink. I kindly asked if I could switch my order to the combo and even offered to pay the difference, which was less than $1, so I could get the drink. He just said no. I asked again, he said no. I understand I had already placed my order, but it would have been pretty simple to refund it and recharge me for the combo. It felt like he just didn't want to take the extra step. That's where Shootz missed the mark for me. The food was good not great, but when you're already charging a premium for relatively very small portions of Hawaiian food, good customer service makes a difference. Customer service in Hawaii makes you feel like family, Shootz made me feel like I was eating at a drive thru.
