My wife is 70 years old, in great shape, and an avid runner and a big bike riding enthusiast. We had not had her bike looked at for a couple of years and thought we would bring it in for a tune-up and whatever else was needed. The service provided and the explanations of everything that was done, including some additional repairs and new parts, was detailed and approved as expected... Do not worry about pressure at this store. Mike will give it to you straight and the options are clear. I loved the way he runs his business! No surprises! Thank you for all your help Mike. We will be back for an annual tune-up..and maybe that electric bike that I was looking at?! Sean H.

My ebike looks like a mountain bike it's not some class 17 crazy bike , it's a class 2 that's legal but still that was a hurdle. Then tell me you can't buy the top that screws onto a seat post when you can find them on Amazon. Not to mention his attitude was almost like I was bothering him for asking questions. Left there feeling like a burden more than helped. Wouldn't recommend for anyone wanting to learn anything, just treats you like poop

And on an on an on an on and on. And on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. And on and on and on and on and on an on and on and on and on and on. It was a long time. I waited. And I waited some more. I did some serious waiting five feet away in a red sweater. No acknowledgment. No letting me know it might be a while. But that would've likely stopped the upselling I started to see. So I turned me and my bike around and left. It's hard for me to be on my feet that long. That's why I bike. Dood has a right to be into his subject matter. Usually shops want you to feel comfortable and respected as somewhat of a priority, even if you aren't being directly pitched at the moment... it just was not a good vibe. All doods working there when I was in. Way heavy on the dood vibe. Captive audience syndrome. Sigh. Dood has to do what a dood does. I avoid places like this. Going to the bike collective in Rogers Park instead next time.
