Great fish and chips! The fries (chips) were delicious! The fish was crispy and the signature sauce was great!

I'm sorry to say that this is the first time I feel like yelp has led me astray. I was pretty disappointed, especially after reading the good reviews. The staff and owners were very friendly. I wish them success. But this food was not for me. Fish and chips were fairly greasy and I think we got the bottom of the bag of fries. I didn't get a single one that was more than an inch long. Sauces were bland and everything was just so heavy and Mayo based. 14 dollars for a few small pieces of fish and very few French fries is too much to ask. read more

Best fish and chips ever. It's expensive, but like an upscale version of fish and chips. The fish sticks were so delicious and so were all the interesting sauces. Fries were served cold with a cold sauce on top. Fish was cut very thin couldnt get any flavor from the seafood. The 4 crab bites for $7.00 had maybe 4 ounces of a fake crab. less than a dollar food cost. Prices did not match the lesser quality and serving size of the products. read more

The food is very overpriced for what you receive - the fish portions are tiny and lack flavor. The sauces also fall into the extremely bland category. One star for the food (especially for the price). The staff, however, four stars. Very friendly. read more

Tried Ty's tonight. It was just ok. We tried the calamari and the fish. The fish was a little greasy and did not have a lot of flavor. The calamari was better. The fries are an extra charge, and weren't anything special. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Overall I thought it was expensive and just ok. read more

Ty Fish and Chips was recommended by family and we are glad we tried it. Good fish and chips is hard to find. Their fish is tender and tasty with a light batter. The sauces are delicious--from a good tarter to the miso. The ceviche was delicious too! We finished off with Japanese donuts and mango sauce. Yum! read more

Tried to go here for dinner. Their posted hours on Saturday are open till 9:30. Arrived at 9:10. We were told they were closing in 10 minutes so we could only get a to go order. I asked them so you are closing at 9:20 not 9:30 and he said yes. I politely said I'd take my business elsewhere. Wanted to try this place for awhile but after this I won't be back. BEST... ceviche I have ever had. Getting the shrimp each time we do take out. The batter is not heavy in batter and the shrimp are actually a very nice hearty size as well as fresh, nice and crispy with no heavy oil taste. Variety of fries and sauces. The fish was SO fresh it almost melted in my mouth. The fries were perfectly crisp and tasty. I wasn't brave enough to try the specialty fries, but next time I will. Family of 3, tried the fish, shrimp, and fries with and without the sauces. The sauces for the fish are amazing. Also had the donuts with both sauces and really enjoyed them. The owner and staff were so friendly, and with it being a slower moment, he came to our table and chatted for about 5 minutes. Cheering for them! Great fish and chips and great staff. We drove here on our continued quest for great fish and chips, we didn't know much about it and were surprised (good surprised) about the Asian flair to classic fish and chips, we didn't venture too far from the classic. We all ordered the two piece and salted fries. Two of us got the miso garlic dipping sauce and one opted for original tartar, both sauces were really great. The fish was tender and flakey and cooked perfectly. The batter had a nice slight crunch with a good texture that was also cooked great. Next time I might just order the fish and skip the fries, or put what I spent on fries towards an additional fish. It was spendy, but fish, especially quality fish isn't cheap and is hard to come by. They are right next to a gym, so anticipate not parking too close. We'll be back!! Check them out, you'll be rooting for them too. read more

I enjoyed the fish and chips from TY fish and Chips. All the different sauces such as mango curry, miso garlic, lemon chili, and tartar were good and went well with the battered fish. They also serve shrimp, calamari, and fried seafood egg rolls. Although we did not get any, they do have Japanese style donuts with custard that sounded amazing.
