I am on a fixed budget and needed an upgrade. The thing that I appreciated about Neil is that he is willing to work with you based on your budget and needs. You just have to communicate, open up a working dialogue, and hear out all the options. Neil found me a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad with all the right features and software. He could have also sourced me a new gaming laptop with the best speeds and processing power but of course- out of my budget. If you get to know Neil, you realize he does care about his clients and wants to make things right. So far I am satisfied with my laptop computer and if I run into an issue I can always call him and he'll do his best to help - obviously within reason.

He seems to like to prey on people that do not know much about electronics (yknow, his whole customer base) so make sure he opens every "new" item in front of you and ask for receipts! Seems like he has a backdoor hookup with Best Buy or something, maybe he is buying returned merchandise and claiming it is new, I am not sure but just be careful! One of the electronic items had the prior owner's name still in it as a user profile! EDIT: Lol, yeah, ok Neil. The old "I'm not a scammer, you are the scammer, that's why I had to refund all your money because all the things I sold you were used garbage!" excuse doesn't exactly make sense. Everyone, just sort the reviews by single star ratings and see what they say, make your own choices, just be aware that this guy will try to sell you used equipment & parts as new and then get all mad when you call him out. Another Edit: Now he is calling this a fake review when I pointed out how his "no, you are the scammer, I gave you a refund" reply (one of six or seven replies, he kept revising it and I kept getting notifications each time) did not make any sense. Leave senior citizens alone, Neil, it's a bad look to threaten seniors in this day & age.

I had a bad drive with important data on it and by thinking outside the box Calvin got me access to the drive and I was able to recover my data and store it in the cloud. Eventually that computer died and I had issues with getting the same full software functions running on the new computer. Some of the upgrades that came with my new computer actually severely limited my productivity. In around 30 minutes Calvin had my full functions back and tweaked the UI to my liking. I used to do this work myself but as I get older I am happy to have Calvin save me the time. For me the time savings is a great value for what I pay Calvin.

It was door-to-door and whenever I spoke to him on the phone he seemed honestly concerned and was very helpful (sometimes tech. folks can be a little patronizing I've found). Best of all the price was totally reasonable - and I compared it with the 'Geeks' - considering he probably had to do more than the hour of work he charged us for not to mention having to drive to/from our place twice.
