Pube hair seems like curly nasty was inside the bread. Beware!!!
    X P.

BUYER BEWARE!! Pubic hair in bread seems like. I came here for the first time here for a quick snack because it was next to the bus stop. Got a couple breads, price was fair, the worker was talking on her phone and not even looking and saying price. Which I don't mind... I got home and while eating it , I discovered the bread had nasty hair that looked like pubes. It wasn't just one there were 2. And it wasn't from me because the hair was deep inside the bread I had to pull that thing out nasty. Not coming back. Had to throw it out.

    Beijing yogurt -- sooooo good!

I recently visited this spot since it's close to where I'm taking driving lessons, and I'm so glad I did! While it may seem like your typical Chinese bakery at first glance, they offer unique treats that set them apart from the competition. One standout offering is their homemade Beijing yogurt. It's thick, tart, and smooth -- absolutely heavenly and the perfect way to kickstart my morning. Anyone who comes here must try it!! I also tried a bread that looks like a four-leaf clover, with hot dog chunks on each side and a creamy corn mixture in the center. I'm not sure what it's called, but it was sure delicious! The creamy center was exceptional, elevating what might seem like a typical pastry to something truly special. Definitely grab it if you see it! As I was checking out, I spotted a White Rabbit candy-inspired pastry in the fridge. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I'm definitely going for it next time. White Rabbit candy is one of my favorites, and anything milk-related brings back such nostalgic memories :) I absolutely love this spot! It's a hidden gem with great, affordable prices. Giving it one star off because when I visited, there weren't a lot of options available.

There are a lot of good bakeries in flushing, yet I always find myself going to the same two bakeries over and over. This is one of the two. I am absolutely obsessed with the Beijing yogurt, it is heavenly, and more like a smoothie texture than your average yogurt. Creamy and tart, perfect to get your morning started. I am also crazy about these pork floss mochi cakes. I saw them for the first time in this bakery and have been addicted to them since. Ironically, the one thing they are famous for, the white rabbit cake, is my least favorite thing here. But to be fair, I was never a huge fan of the white rabbit candy. I personally don't think the cake tastes anything like the candy, and the texture is bizarre. However I won't deduct a star for it as I am so crazy about plenty of other items here!

Bakery was smaller than I expected but I came here for one objective: white rabbit candy cake roll. They had it in the display shelf and also in the fridge. I was advised to get it from the fridge if I wasn't gonna eat it within a hour. Once I got home I kept it fridged and that made it taste better. The cream solidified a bit so that there's an icy texture to the outside layer of the cream. The white rabbit candy flavor only existed in the cream and it was subtle, but good enough. The cake itself was not white rabbit candy flavor. I wouldn't get it again but it was cool to try!

We came here especially for the White rabbit cake. The bakery is nestled into a little corner but the store is nice. They have two tables for indoor seating but guests are not allowed to stay for more than 30 minutes. They have various other pastries and bread for sale. We purchased a lightbulb yogurt since the container was so cute and a white rabbit cake. The employee helped us pick the most defrosted one/softest one. The cake itself isn't really sponge-y, more like a bread cake texture almost. The cream tastes like vanilla icecream and there wasn't really a huge flavor of white rabbit. There were also chunks of frozen bits of the cake since it hadn't defrosted completely. The yogurt was good, though. Overall, underwhelming experience. I'm sure they have other good products here, but the white rabbit cake itself was just alright.

cake order review After reading a bunch of reviews, I decided to place a cake order with U Best. I called them first and the lady said she'll send me some pictures of cakes. I then communicated with her entirely via text and paid in full via zelle. She sent me a photo of the order receipt. I placed the order one day before. I chose the 6 inch butterfly fruit cake which was blue on the photo but I requested purple. When my family saw the cake, they thought it was going to be just a pretty cake, but we were all very impressed with the cream (light and fluffy) and cake (perfect sponge texture). There was mango, dragonfruit and cantaloupe inside the cake that were fresh. The best compliment was when one of my family member decided to have a second slice when usually they don't even finish the first! Highly highly recommend their cakes in general. Couple of tips: - I went a bit earlier than the pick-up time but they were not ready so don't be early. - The cake comes in a clear box that displays the cake and you carry it with a ribbon but they don't have a bag. If you are like me that would be walking around Flushing with the cake, I recommend bringing a bag so it is easier to carry. - They have more cake samples in store than what was sent to me so if possible, I'd recommend going to the store and see what they have.

White Rabbit Candy cake?! In cake form? Gotta get it! It's just too super cute to pass up. If you grew up eating Rabbit candy, you know what I'm talking about. I have such fond memories of eating this candy as a little kid. Now as an adult, I get to eat it as a cake! Another Asian bakery opens up in Flushing, against stiff competition in the area. What lured me here? The White Rabbit Candy cake! What's inside it? A pure white cake roll with the delicate taste of rabbit candy. Inside is a white cream filling. In the very center is a rectangular semi-hard White jelly dessert. Interesting and tasty. Light and delicate in flavor. The size of the cake is around the size of my palm. Super cute. It's located in the refrigerator on the left. Also tried a milk cream bun. It didn't seem particularly out of the ordinary. The cream inside rather bland. I'm totally interested in returning to try their Boston Cream pie and Japanese cheesecake. All in the refrigerated section. This is what sets them apart from other Asian bakeries in the area.

Stopped by this place to pick up a White Rabbit Candy cake! The candy was a nostalgic part of my childhood (until it temporarily stopped production) and of course I had to try it in cake form! There were plenty of them when I dropped by in the afternoon. There are a bunch of display cakes in the windows at the front of the bakery. Some of them looked really nice! The white rabbit candy cake had just the right amount of sweetness. There was something in the very middle of the icing in the cake roll...maybe some kind of jelly? The staff recommended that it would taste best if I ate it within 30 minutes. I think the important part is to keep it refrigerated if you're not eating it right away. I also tried their homemade drinkable yogurt and I liked it! If you're a fan of Chinese yogurt drinks, you'd like this!

I stopped by here today to try the White Rabbit cake, I never had the candy before so I am only going by the cake. The cake was super soft, spongy and airy, sweet but not too sweet, incredibly creamy and VERY VERY tasty. This was a super tasty cake, will definitely be back again! Definitely worth it!

Didn't realize this was the 2nd of their bakery in this area. Staff was very friendly and informed me that they didn't currently have any White Rabbit Candy cakes at the moment (around Sunday 12PM) but let me pick it up from their other location. I did buy their matcha cranberry cookies and it was actually delicious and such a good snack! Upon picking up the cake at the other location, I cut into it about 30 minutes later and the center was still pretty frozen - no filling that was oozing out like what other reviews indicated. The cake was actually smaller than I expected (it looked really large in the photos) and did not really taste like the actual rabbit candy but more like a vanilla filling cake instead.. It's not a bad cake but I'm not sure I would ever purchase this again. This is the sort of cake for a photo op and not really the type of cake you would crave again.

Customize fruit cake (dragonfruit, cantaloupe and mango)

Placed an order for this cake the day before my birthday and I couldn't be happier. They were very accommodating! You have to call them first and then converse with them via text. They will send pictures of some of their works and will customize to your liking. The cake was exactly what I wanted and much more. I received so many compliments. You know when your Asian family comment "oh, it's not too sweet", it's a sign that the cake is delicious!

I came to see what the hype was about for the White Rabbit cake and I was not disappointed! The packaging is so cute that I didn't even want to unwrap it. I do wish the cream was a little more stabilized so that it doesn't fall apart when you cut into it but the flavor was good that I was okay with just dipping the cream into the cake. I would definitely grab another one when I am in the area.

I tried their taro mochi box cake and I enjoyed it, but wish that their mochi part was a bit more firm. It was a bit more runny or soft than how I would prefer my mochi. But aside from that, I liked the combination of the sponge cake with the mochi and the taro paste. The added pork floss on top added a savoriness to it to balance out the sweetness, but it wasn't too sweet even if it didn't have it. It is definitely not a cake to have on your own because it is definitely filling with the taro and mochi. The price of it is a bit high, but since it's more of a sharable cake, I can see it being more on the pricey side. This is definitely more of a heartier cake so if you want something light, I would try their other options. I also am not the biggest fan of cakes with cream, so this was more up my alley since it was layers of cake with mochi and taro. I think if I could choose, I wish it had a small layer or pork floss on the bottom for a little more savoriness to it.

Stopped by again (was closed Wednesdays when I first visited) and finally got to try the goodies!…read moreAlthough I didn't have time to find parking for a stay - it's a small cute dessert shop with limited seats. I am a fan of the pandan flavor desserts and bought two that I wanted to try. One being a roll cake and the other layer cake. The pandan roll cake with taro I was told is a specialty that they only have on weekends. It was really flavorful, moist and spongy, just perfectly touched with a dash of sweetness in both the cake and the cream - I personally don't like overly sweet foods, and this is just perfect for me and my mom. I'm equally pleased with the layer cake as well it was very fresh and have that "QQ" texture - deliciously chewy and bouncy. This too, just hit right for me on the gentle sweetness, the pandan flavor keeping the spotlight in this dessert. My mom and I are big fans of these desserts. We just came back trying out others pandan layer cakes in Downtown Flushing and this shop beats them by a large margin. I hope to come back more when we could even though this shop is quite a distance for us.
