My living room furniture was deep scratched into the leather and also suffered paint scratches. I was compensated for the leather scratches that will need repair. I was disappointed yesterday when I visited my storage unit and found the cement bottom of one of my lamps broken in 4 pieces. It doesn't even stand on its own anymore - it's trash. I had to find both of these damages to my furniture. They did not voluntarily tell me about any of the damage I discovered - just gave excuses about the sofa - apparently covered in the contract if furniture is large. Even though they compensated me minimally for my sofa repair, I am super worried about how the rest of the furniture looks now. Not cheap furniture. If you use them, you've got to watch them.

They also damaged the entrance of the new apartment door while they were bringing in the furnitures which causes bugs and all kinds of insects to have easy access. mind you, this was a brand new apartment where I'm the 1st one to move in. I called and was told I could get it straightened out in the office when I picked up the car. Once I got there, I was told there was nothing indicating that I purchased insurance. (even though additional fees were taking out.) I assume this was for the insurance but was told this was for the deposit. (The website says they will take the deposit at the time I pic up the car) They proceeded to do an application for their insurance. I was asked for 2 emergency contacts, bankcard, mortgage or leasing agreement! I told them I didn't have any of that on me. Needless to say, I was unable to rent the car even though I paid in advance. The customer service rep wasn't accommodating at all. He was very indifferent. I caught a Lyft there and didn't have a way home. It was an awful experience. All customer service people should share the same information! (i.e.. the people of the phone and the people at the counter) I was not informed of needing these items when I called twice to see if my online process went through. I contacted three different companies through Yelp, but ultimately chose JFP Express because they were the only ones who provided an all-inclusive price with no hidden fees--unlike the other companies. I find it frustrating when businesses try to extract as much as they can from customers through various pretexts and dishonest practices. JFP Express, however, was honest and transparent from the start. Jason was very courteous and communicative, arranging everything seamlessly. When the team arrived, they were respectful, personable, and professional. The piano, along with everything else, was handled with the utmost care and attention.
