I approached and told him what I was interested in and he began to ask questions and input stuff into his computer. He wasn't listening to me and I had to repeat what I wanted several times. Since then, I have not received any communication by email or phone. Over the following days, I called multiple times for an update. Each time, I was told there was no status available on my case. I called again the next day and received the same response. I then requested that my case be escalated, and I was told a manager would contact me. However, I have still not heard from anyone. I have continued calling daily with no progress or follow‑up. This ongoing lack of communication is extremely frustrating and concerning. I am requesting an immediate update on the status of my claim, confirmation that it has been properly escalated, and information on the next steps to locate or recover my personal items. (The website says they will take the deposit at the time I pic up the car) They proceeded to do an application for their insurance. I was asked for 2 emergency contacts, bankcard, mortgage or leasing agreement! I told them I didn't have any of that on me. Needless to say, I was unable to rent the car even though I paid in advance. The customer service rep wasn't accommodating at all. He was very indifferent. I caught a Lyft there and didn't have a way home. It was an awful experience. All customer service people should share the same information! (i.e.. the people of the phone and the people at the counter) I was not informed of needing these items when I called twice to see if my online process went through. I contacted three different companies through Yelp, but ultimately chose JFP Express because they were the only ones who provided an all-inclusive price with no hidden fees--unlike the other companies. I find it frustrating when businesses try to extract as much as they can from customers through various pretexts and dishonest practices. I had a pretty hectic move in day because of my personal oversight on what I needed day of move. I will say the mover driver was a bit predatory because they had to wait for me to get my cashiers check and it was a Sunday where all banks are closed. He said he would have to charge me for the wait time but then when it was time to pay made it seem like he made that up as a way to get more money out of me and said he could just apply the wait time fee to the tip instead. I did not appreciate that as I was already planning to tip. I will say when the company I used previously I did appreciate that they wrapped everything they moved. This company did not do that I'm not sure if it is something they offer and it's just extra. Overall my biggest issues was with the movers and that I lost a few items but overall a decent experience.
